The horse's hooves clattered against the frozen concrete roads. The blue and black carriage bounced over the clumps of snow. As the carriage finally arrived at the Ball, it came to a gentle halt. A short, young girl with light blonde hair stepped out. Her dress was black and turquoise and had few jewels or sparkles. "Mistress Rose Harrington, daughter of Jade Harrington and Russell Harrington." One of Rose's butlers called out as they helped her down. Even wearing heals, Rose had footsteps as quiet as a mouse's. She entered the giant building, seeing so many people talking to each other. Rose's hight was half the size of everyone else's, causing her to have to look up at the other guests. Yet she kept her head up and kept looking forward as she walked. Rose didn't want to seem inferior to anyone else, but her parents.

(Intro time! Sorry if it sucks.)
Lily rode her black horse down the stone road towards the ball. Beside her her friend Zac rode his white horse. A raven perched on Lily's shoulder. Both their parents promised to be their soon,but at the moment were stuck at their homes with the carriages. They made it to the ball and tied their horses up. The raven flew to find somewhere warmer as Zac helped Lily off of her horse and into the ball. They were announced,even though their parents would be awhile. "Lily Taylor,daughter of Stephanie Walker and the late Jerry Taylor." "Zac Hallam,son of Arron Hallam and the late Tiffany Hallam."

"Mother, you know how I dislike these events."
"Xander, you know full well that this is about you finding a mate and not about your event preferences."
"Mother..."
"Not another thing about it, young man."
Xander, son of Melia and Iaven Rolas, let out a soft sigh, startling
red eyes focusing on his mother in a most exasperated manner. "Yes
mother," he replied gently before he stepped out of the carriage he had
arrived in, seeming to flinch slightly as horns were blown rather loudly
to announce their arrival. He turned around to aid his mother out of
the carriage, unable to help a soft smile as her hair, the same snowy
white as his own, fell down around her face like a snowy curtain. He
offered her his hand and she took it, her soft blue eyes seeming amused
before they turned to step into the castle and straight to the ballroom,
where Xander and his mother were shortly announced aloud for all the
crowd to hear.
"Arriving now is Prince Xander Rolas, accompanied by his mother, the
ever elegant Queen Melia Rolas, who resides over our neighboring
country with her husband, King Iaven Rolas."
Xander bit back a
sigh and a frown, instead averting his eyes to glance around the room
before stepping towards the floor, his white suit hugging his body quite
well.
