Demyan looked up at him as words raced through his mind. "uuh she's in the forest" he said as he pointed in the direction he had came from. He looked back up at the vampire once more. He had never felt so unsafe in his life, as if he were the pray.

A low rumble escaped Markus's throat. "How far into the forest is she?" he asked slowly. He could tell that Demyan felt rather like prey. That caused the greek vampire to smile mentally.

Markus shrugged one shoulder, dismissing Demyan's question. "Is she immobilized?" he asked  as he clasped his hands in the small of his back. His crimson eyes continued to stare at he vampire at his feet.

Markus stopped circling at Demyan's head. Glancing down at the vampire, his nostrils flared. "Are you telling the truth," he demanded. His eyes narrowed again as he knelt down to look at Demyan in the eyes.

Markus narrowed his eyes further until they looked like slits. "You lie," he hissed as he bared his fangs more.

Markus snarled like a savage animal that has been caged for far too long. "Then lead me to her," he growled slowly getting to his feet.

"what but i- " he looked to back at his brother for help but his brother had his eyes closed and had his head leaned back against the tree. "okay" he said as he stood a bit shakily from being on the ground so long. He began to walk towards where he had parted with Drakine. He kept his gaze on the ground as he walked.

Jakio followed them and walked next to the vampire "i hope you dont mind if i come along too? oh and i never got your name im Jakio" he said with a smile though he growled as he looked over at Demyan.

"Markus Kallaticus Taen or sometimes known as Silver Fang," the albino replied. "My brother likes to call me by my past-life name." Then he shrugged and followed Demyan.

Demyan stumbled through the forest, following the scent of Drakine. He wished he would have never been envolved with a human, never thought as a rival to his own kind. He was in the HBC and his job was to hunt humans not befriend them.

Jakio followed them boredly looking around. He smelt human and growled when he had a feeling nothing was wrong with it. He had a feeling Demyan would go soft one day and befriend humans, he had always been soft. Always afraid to die, or afraid to be alone. He hated cowards and hoped Demyan would just say he had lied and get it over with.

Drakine froze and glanced around. She hadn't travelled far from where she had parted with Demyan, but she was sure somebody was following her. Knealing down, she brushed her fringers long a small outcropping of rock and felt three sets of vibrations. Sh!t. Three vamps were following her.

Markus followed the stumbling Demyan through the forest. His steps were slow and methodical. His crimson eyes stayed glued onto Demyan as he glared into the younger vamp's back.

Demyan could feel eyes burning into his back. He was afraid to look back but he did anyway and flinched when he saw glowing piercing eyes glaring hard at him. He stopped and looked around "uh i um.." he didn't know what to say "this is where i left her.." he said as he looked around.

Jakio walked around with his hands in his pockets. "well i sure as hell dont see anything" he said as he kicked a small rock into the brush with a disgusted face.

Markus stopped when Demyan did and looked around, breathing in the scents of the forest. "That's because she left," the greek said as he found her scent. Walking up to the tree she leaned against, he knelt down and breathed in her scent. He frowned. "Few minutes old. She's hurt. Two ribs broken," he reported. Then he glanced at Demyan. "Your doing?"

Drakine frowned as the vibrations stopped. She the stood up and tried to get farther away. But her broken ribs were making it harder for her to move as swiftly as she could.

Demyan nodded and looked around "i think she went that way?" he said to himself as he started towards where the human had gone.

Jakio came up behind him and growled "this is getting old you better hurry it up" he said as he followed with his hands in his pockets.

Markus continued to breath in Drakine's scent. He stood up and pushed pas-sed Demyan. Stopping just a few feet in front of him, Markus turned around. "Questioning yourself?" Markus demanded. "Use your sense of smell, boy!" With a growl he walked after the girl.

Riiva shrieked loudly from where ever the she-raven was above the leafy canopy. Drakine froze and glanced up and swallowed her fears that threatened to over ride her system. Clenching her hands into fists, she let her fingernails bite into her palms. Small beads of dark crimson blood rolled down her fingers and dripped onto the ground.
