"Thanks, I appreciate it. I mean, I know we don't really know each other, but I need someone to talk to..." she said, already beginning to walk towards the stream. Once they got close, though, she began to smell blood. Becoming uneasy, she thought Did someone make a kill here? The blood smells fresh.

"You smell that?" she asked the omega.

((Yeah sure. Sorry, I guess I've been neglecting him a little lately :P))

Xylon didn't know what to do. Gavaar didn't seem to either. Everything seemed so hopeless for poor Ailyn and he just didn't see a way out. He wished he hadn't even followed the she wolf's scent. If he hadn't, he wouldn't even be involved in this mess. It's too late to back out now, he thought.

"I need to think, Gavaar," he said quietly. "Need to be alone for a minute," he padded a short distance away, always keeping the stream in his sight so he could find his way back easily. Xylon sat down and shook his head, trying to clear it. What could they possibly do to help a wolf that had been accused of murder? He knew that if he was sure someone had killed a member of his pack- if he had one- he would go to any length to stop them. Xylon lay down, sighing heavily. He wanted so badly for everything to turn out okay, but he knew that was unlikely. He would feel terrible if Ailyn was killed. He would feel responsible, and how would he ever be able to live with himself after that? Xylon needed to help convince the others of Ailyn's innocence, but how?

Gavaar gritted his teeth and sat down, thinking hard. He wasn't one to think. He wasn't the brightest wolf in the pack. But now, he was forcing himself to think. But what could he do? What kind of evidence was there to prove Ailyn's innocence? Shaking his head, Gavaar stumbled back, overwhelmed by all the thinking. He was feeling tired, and lay down, staring unblinking at the sky.

Lilan yawned, the sun glinted of her front canines. She had just woke up from her relatively short nap, and was still a bit drowsy, until she caught the scent of two wolves, quite close to her. Instinct told her to run away, but a curiousity in her stopped Lilan in her tracks. Cautiously, she padded through some bushes, and pas some woods. She froze, for ahead, were the two wolves she had smelt before.
