Corak Glanced dow to look at the ground below, he was flying high in the sky in sub-zero temperatures. Most other humans hated him for bonding with a gryphon, but he found comfort in knowing he wasn't the only one. He was the youngest but also the most skilled and the first to start bonding with them again, the other two were older but they knew to do what he said when he said to do it, but most time he lets them do whatever. "Snek, take us down to that clearing, then you can find your shade or whatever, the others should fallow" Snek twitched his ear in acknowlegment.

Snek was a gryphon, who bonded with Corak when he was found in the forset alone with nobody to help him. He was one of hardly any snow gryphons left, most others were killed in the war that the gryphons had with the gryphons.

Corak felt the movement of Snek's muscles as he folded his wing and dove. This was one thing that Snek and Corak loved to do most. As the human and gryphon got closer and closer to the ground, Snek Spread his wing and Slowly alighted on the ground. Corak dismounted and waoted for the rest of the grypon ryders to come into veiw and alight just as Snek and Corak had done.

Shiro blinked his eye open at the sound of Onyx's loud squawk. He sat up, rubbing his injured eye through the bandages that wrapped it. Onyx had been the one to hurt him. It had been an accident, both of them had attacked each other without knowing who they were. Onyx had gotten Shiro's eye with his talon and Shiro had left a long gash on Onyx's chest with his sword. They had bonded later on, forgiving each other for the mistake, but while Onyx's chest had healed into a rather cool looking scar, Shiro's eye was still healing and hurt greatly. 

Wincing, Shiro looked up at the sky just in time to see a snow gryphon diving from the air with a human on it's back. Shiro immediately stood up, ignoring the pain in his eye. Corak would probably want him to show up. He respected the younger male, but still slightly resented him. Shiro hated taking orders from other, especially Corak, but had learned his place. "Well, come on Onyx." he sighed, climbing onto the gryphon's back. 

Onyx stood up, his muscles shifting under his pelt as he trotted the short distance from their resting place to the clearing. His wings were tucked to his sides, hugging Shiro's legs, keeping them from getting caught anywhere. They soon made it to the clearing and Shiro dismounted, crossing his arms over his chest. He stared at Corak for a moment, his visible eye narrowing as his other eye began bothering him again. He didn't say anything and simply waited for the younger rider to begin speaking.

As Shiro entered the clearing Corak slowly scanned the rest of the clearing for any others or humans that would try to spy " That eye is still healing?" Corak always thought it was funny that Shiro had gotten scratched at that area, usualy it was covered. Corak himself knew that Shiro didn't exactly like having to be told what to do, but he also knew that he wasn't hated either. " You happen to p*censored* by any of the others or any non-riding humans? I need to tell everyone what we are planning to do next"

Shiro rubbed at his eye with the back of his hand. It was a self-conscious act that he always did when someone mentioned his eye. It was a really bad habit and often reopened the wound. Today was no different. When he pulled his hand back, there was a few drops of blood on it and he could feel more seeping into the bandage covering his eye. He swore under his breath, wiping his hand off on his shirt before turning his attention back to Corak. "Nope, silent as a graveyard out there as far as I can tell." Shiro answered, looking at the area around Corak's feet instead of his face. He hated seeing others' expressions when they looked at him. "I don't have a clue where everyone else is. I was sleeping up until a few minutes ago."

Corak nodded to Shiro and watched him rubb his eye, remembering his own injuries that he had gotten. "It's not very big, but we will have to do something soon, the non-riders are focusing on making weapons and they have deadly new swords. If they get enogh, it would make it difficult for us to keep them of" Talking of the weapons made Corak instinctivly touch his bow, his choice of weapon. "the gryphons on the other hand are training deeply for battle, i don't know if they realize that some of them have bonded with us, we might still have the element of surprise when it comes to that"

Corak stiffled a sigh, he wanted t make peae between the two species, but he knew right now would be the worst time "alright, for now stay alive, don't cause trouble, and don't revele you self. I'll keep watching the humans and hopefully we can do something soon." Corak climbed onto Snek's back and turned to the others " The river has good fish, hunt there and roast the fish before eating, we don't want sickness spreading through us" With that Snek pread his wing ang the two flew into the air to find a resting place
