At first, Dawsen hesitated. Snowbell seemed so confident in Scar, and he wasn't quite sure himself, but again, he had never met any of these foxes before. He also thought Kuro or Ryu would make good leaders. He first put one paw forward, aware that a few of the other foxes would probably be watching his decision. He then pulled the same paw further back. Go with your first instinct, he told himself, and stepped forward, hoping none of the other foxes would look down on him for doing so, and hoping that he'd made a wise decision. Scar may seem confrontational and blunt, but...isn't that what a good leader is?

Snowbell stared at them, waiting silently. Her smile gone, replaced with a stern(,impatient) look. Her white-tipped tail brushed against the snow, as if waiting for someone to speak. Snowbell turned to her brother. He was looking forward, face revealing nothing. Not even an innocent twinkle in his fierce eyes. She sighed inwardly and spoke, "It appears we have a tie." she began. When Scar opened his mouth to speak, she glared at him in warning. He closed it. "So does that mean we have two leaders? Or will someone change this?" she asked.

Dawsen shook his head. "I have no objection. Once again, a second opinion is good. This doesn't mean that we can't all make decisions," he added, casting an apologetic glance at Ryu, "just to clear that up. If no fox has a problem with this, then it is settled. Those who oppose...speak now or hold your peace." He felt somewhat awkward, feeling like he was trying to push them through this like a leader would.

Snowbell gave him a nod. "I think it would be fine." she said, but she had a tingly feeling inside her that Scar wouldn't. She shot a glance at him, but again, his face revealed nothing. Snowbell sighed, her ears drooped slightly. She then turned to Dawsen, then the others. "Give us your opinions. There's no problem in doin so." she told them, pushing them along a bit so they would survive at least a little longer.

Scar said, "I think, Snowbell, that we should have two leaders. If one dies, there'll always be the other. And working as equals would result in less fighting for the top position." he said, nodding. "That is all."

Snow turned to Scar and nodded back. "Very good point, I agree as well." she said.

Snowbell turned to them. She tilted her head, and blinked, her fluffy, warm tail wrapped around her paws. "Opinions, please?" she asked, not forcing but suggesting. Her white fur ruffled in the wind, but she was fine.

Scar sat down on the snow without thinking about it first. He had to admit, it was cold, but not as bad as a rock in some ways. It was softer, for one, but a million times colder than a rock in the sun, of course. He just sat there, waiting. But then he spoke up again. "Ahh, I have another opinion." he said.

Snowbell turned around to face her brother. "Yes?" she asked, waiting for him to speak.

He hesitated. Scar said not as proudly, "I think you and Dawsen should be the leaders."

Snowbell stared at Scar as if he had gone crazy or just tore his head off by himself. "Scar...?" she murmured, confused.

He smiled. "Of, course." he replied. Scar placed a paw on Dawsen and Snowbell's shoulders. "Who wants these two to be leaders?" he asked the group with a grin.

Dawsen felt sort of awkward. He didn't want to get on Kuro or Ryu's bad side, let alone any of the other foxes. However, he also didn't want to disappoint them if this is what they wanted. "There will be no hard feelings if anyone is opposed to Scar's idea." He wanted to be sure that every fox was okay with it before he started leading with Snowbell.

Snowbell smiled at his reas-surance. "Can you stop being mushy for a second and drag out your pride for a moment?" she asked with a grin. Her white pawtip touched the snow gently and proudly. "Anyone?" she added, looking around for tiny little hints and such.

Scar sat down again, silently. He smiled.

Kuro nodded to Dawson, he may have been one of the more softspoken of his siblings, but he was their spokesperson. He glanced back at Onii who had wandered off. What would he do with her?

Onii sniffed the snow, looking for scents, and thinking. She didnt like being led. Hah! She snorted in her mind. I make my own laws, and even those are meant to be broken! her brown tail lashed and she started digging in the snow, once the hole was big enough, she dove in and started tunneling in the snow, unwittingly goind right under Scar, she felt the tunnel colaps and glanced apologetically at Scar, "my bad." she laughed.

Scar glared at her. He knew she did that on purpose. His claws had hit her face, too. He growled in rage.

Snowbell glared angrily at Onii. "What is wrong with you?" she hissed, clearly upset.

OOC/ Lol, what the heck, Snoweh. XD Nice.

Dawsen shot Onii a frustrated look. "You must not realize how important this is," he growled at her. He didn't notice, but he kept raising his voice as he was lecturing her. "Maybe you don't comprehend, or maybe you just can't process, the situation we're in. The Scientists dropped us off in the mountains. In the mountains, Onii. Where it's cold and harsh and nature acts mercilessly. Do you want to die out here? Do you think this is some sort of game? Some twisted, sick little game that the Scientists pull for their own amusement? We could all very well freeze, or starve, or die of thirst. There are other animals out here, we have to fend for ourselves as well. Would you rather do that on your own and heighten your chances of death, or do you want to get out alive and stick together like the rest of us want?" He noticed the other foxes looking at him. "S-sorry," he said to Onii. "The cold's getting to me. I do not mean to snap." He backed up a few steps, also noticing that he had been coming closer and closer to her, and sat, bowing his head.

Onii bared her teeth at Scar, "It was an accident." her fur bristled. She glanced at Dawson, "I DO realise how dangerous these mountains are, but I refuse to be miserable like the rest of you!" She leapt forwad and Clamped onto Scars neck, not really relising she had done it. She yelped and jumped back, as if Scar had hurt her. Why had she snapped like that. She lay down and whimpered softly, "I-I'm sorry, I dont know what came over me." she lay there and closed her eyes.

Kuro stepped forward, "Onii, relax, Its this cold and hunger." he pressed his muzzle into his sisters fur.

Kitani padded to Dawson, "it is okay." she gave him a slight smile, "her voice barely audible above the wind, "she is reckless, and stubborn, but her heart is in the right place."

Ryu and Hintah watched in horror. Hintah stood and pranced forward, her silver paws barely making tracks, "why dont we all just relax." Her smile was bright, there wasnt a time that Hintah hadent lightened a tense mood.

"Oh, please." he growled. "I saw you, all the way." Scar hissed. "Don't even try denying it." he finished, eyes narrowed."OH THAT'S IT." he said. Scar launged forward, fangs bared and claws sticking out of the snow like a huge black rock. He slashed at the female with rage and fury.

Snowbell sighed. "Don't wrroy Dawsen, you're right." she told him reas-suringly. Snowbell grabbed Scar hastily but gently and ripped him off of Onii, but he refused to be restrained.

Scar roared, snapping at Onii recklessly, but only hitting the air.

Onii snarled with all the furocity of a wolf, she lept at Scar's throat, catching a grip on his fur, a quick spin and she had him by the back of the neck, snarling madly. She clanched her teeth harder and harder until she tasted blood. It seemed to only encourage her. . .

Snowbell would've nodded back but she was focused on getting Scar to calm down. "Right." she mumbled through her clenched teeth. "I don't know what came over them." Snowbell added, her claws trying to keep a firm grasp on the snow. She felt his snapping stop and let go, panting. "Scar, you'restronger than I thought!" she exclaimed, tired.

Scar grunted. He glared at Onii, as if to say What is wrong with you! You don't even deserve to live. God.
