Nevermore, growling in her sleep as usual, was unaware of the light that surrounded her. Then she snorted and woke, shaking her head. "Oh.. Ow." She squinted her eye sockets, trying to get her bearings.

"This isn't the hollow...", she murmed to herself.

"'Course not, stupid." Nevermore glared at the rock that had spoken to her, picked it up, and flung it towards a tree that, to her, was staring at her curiously.

Dot, who was still sleeping, one ear that wasn't floppy, twitched when she heard a sound of something being thrown.  She opened her electric yellow eye, then her aqua blue eye.  She slowly got up and looked around, realizing her sister was no where to be found.  They were separated when being transported to the world.  She got up on her hind legs, like she normally did, and raced over to where she heard the sound, crashing into Nevermore's leg by accident.

"Oh hello." Nevermore peered at the chihuahua, at first trying to decide how to cook her. Then she changed her mind and tilted her head.

"Do you by chance know where the bloody heck I am?"

Ribunny was gliding over the forest.  She was frantically looking for her sister.  "Dot?"  She called out.  "Dot?  Where are you?!"  She saw Ash on the ground, and landed in front of her.  "Have you seen my sister?"  She asked.

"I was about to ask you if you knew where I am!"  Dot replied, her unnaturally jagged teeth shining in the moon light.  "And if we both don't know where we are, then..."  She thought for a few seconds, "Then the trees will laugh at us."  She hunched over.  "They will not take my precious!  Aim for their heads!  MAHAA!"  She started to run in circles. 

Nevermore frowned. "It's not the trees we have to worry about. It's the mutant guinea pigs. They're on to me." She jumped up and landed in a tree.

"On to me, darn it!" Then she slid down the trunk and peered at the dog. "Name, the way by is what your." She grinned, neon green toungue lolling out the side of her mouth.

"Dot name is my!"  Dot replied.  "Yours what is?"  She sat on the ground, her wagging tail making some leaves swish around.  "ydanc ekil I!

"I've only been here a few minutes too."  Ribunny sighed, "So I'm about as clueless as you are..." 

"Nevermore. Nevermore the Insane is what my friends call me. See that bush over there? It's one of my friends." Her grin grew wider. "Candy? Like... Blood-filled?"

Her mouth salivating, the dragon eyed Dot. She shook her head, trying to keep it at least semi-clear.

"So... Should we find out just where the heck we are?" Her brow furrowed. This was the sanest sentence she'd said in months.

"Blood filled candy?"  Dot wondered out loud, "Sounds good.."  She blinked, realizing she went off topic again.  "Yes.. We should find out where we are.. and maybe mug some locals for candy.... mehehe..." 

((OMG. That's fantastic. -listening to a Creature Feature CD- I hate/love you for getting me hooked to them. ;c))

"Right so..." Nevermore frowned. "Which way? All ways here, you see, are the queen's ways." She bit her lower jaw. "Uh.. Left, right... You!" She swung around to face the tree that had been staring at her. Only now, it was just a tree. "Ohoh.. You can't escape me..." She rammed her head into the tree, only to shake some leaves free.

"Hey look a tree!"  Dot said like she never saw one before.  "Can I keep it, huh?  Huh?"  She went up to the tree and took a huge bite out of it, leaving a hug bite mark.  "Tastes like splinters!"  She yelped.  She then pointed in a random direction.  "We could go this way!"  She said, spitting out chunks of tree stuff as she talked.
