Rukiea looked at Jay. "So far. I've been able to move but then again. I'm not too sure about it." She flung the blood off her blade and cleaned the rest off. Her legs buckled and she dropped her sword. She fell to her knees. "Oh no... I think i was suppoed to stay on the floor when he threw me.." She fell to her hands.

She shook her head. "i only got up because i got a sudden adrenaline rush. I probuably would hav blacked out if that hadnt had happened." Rukiea fell into Jay. Her eyes flashed red and she closed her eyes.

Jay wrapped his arms around her. "You'll be alright Rukeia," He mumbled. In a way, he was glad she had gotten up, he didn't think he would have been able to take them both on at once. But on the other hand, he wished she hadn't. She knew more about healing and that kind of stuff and if she thought it was bad she got up, then it probably was.

She closed her eyes fully and rested on Jay. She weakly took hold of his arm and clutched his shirt sleeve. She felt as though she was going ot die. She would leave Jay and Jake. Maybell and Leita. But she wasnt dying.. She knew Jay would prtoect her, but how would she heal him if she was in a coma or p*censored*ed out??

Jay sighed and picked her up. "No sense in staying here." He said, more to himself. Carrying her up the stairs, he put her on the bed the King was letting her use. "Just a bit of rest, that's all you need." He said to her, hoping he was right.

Rukiea felt nothing anymore. Her whole body was numb and she only saw the blackness in her eyes. All she could hear was Jay talking. She couldnt move even the slightest bit. She knew her sword was downstairs and that the princesses were safe. But what will happen to Jay if someone else comes and attacks us?

Jay watched her for a few minutes, then decided he better take care of the bodies downstairs. "I'll go clean up down there. I'll be sure to bring your sword back when I'm done." He told her, wanting to know he she could actually hear him or not. Once he was outside of her room, he let out a sigh. "You have to be alright Rukiea. I don't know what I would do if you weren't."

She tried to move her hands. Nothing. She felt cold and numb. All she could do was listen to Jay. She couldnt respond to his statements or anything. She sighed a little. Her mind began to wander and she slowly started to move her hand. But, it wasnt enough. Her muscles tensed and she couldnt move again.

Jay returned to Rukiea's room half an hour later, her sword in his hands. Setting it down on a table, he pulled a chair up to the bed. "I'm back." He said, watching her face. "And I remembered your sword. It's on the table." Pausing a moment, Jay reached up and grabbed her hand, giving it a small squeeze.

Rukiea felt Jay's hand but couldnt hold his. She felt cold. Her whole body was suddenly loosing all feeling. She lightly held Jay's hand. That was all she could do. At least i can move my hand.

Jay took back his hand to feel her head, which felt cold to the touch. He sighed and grabbed a blanket. "What happened that caused this?" He said to himself. "At least she got to kill him." He sighed.

Rukiea began to open her eyes. She opened her eyes. They were a faded gold color. The color was fading as well. She looked aorund then at Jay. She weakly lifted her hand and put it on Jay's cheek and gave a small smile as to say "Thank you"

Jay gave a small smile. "Go back to sleep. You need all the rest you can get. I'll go get Maybell and Leita, let them know that it is safe to come out now." He said and stood up. He left the room and went to where the princesses were hiding. "It's safe to come out now."

Rukiea closed her eyes again and thought about whatg had just happened. There was nothing i can do.. I was so helpless. Poor Jay. She sighed. "This sucks...."

"Well, no." Jay said. "I'm fine but Rukiea..." He sighed. "I don't know what happened. During the battle she got thrown and kicked but she got right back up and continued to fight. Then when it was over, she just fell over." He shook his head. "She should be fine though. I think she should just rest a bit. You can go see her if you want, she is in her room but try not to bother her too much."
