Rayne sat quietly on a bench in the middle of the mall, watching people wander by. She wondered what they were up to and what things they were buying, even though it was really none of her business. Honestly, she just had nothing better to do than wonder at this point. Her silent gaze scanned the crowds, as she absent-mindedly pulled at the fraying edges of a hole in her dark skinny jeans. Her eyes stopped on a trio that had just gathered a few feet or so away. Rayne couldn't quite remember, but she was almost certain she'd seen at least one of them before.

"Hm, that's strange," She thought to herself. "Maybe I've just seen them around the mall... But it feels a lot more personal than that."

She smoothed out her colorful plaid shirt that was unbuttoned over a plain black t-shirt. Rayne stood up and bit her lip, trying to decide if she should go over there and talk to those kids. She felt creepy just staring at them from afar, but she thought it would seem even weirder to go over and blatantly say, "Hi, you guys look familiar. That's weird. So, do I know you?"

Finally, she decided the curiosity would kill her by the end of the day, and decided to walk over to the group. She approached them awkwardly and smiled, "Hey, sorry to just butt in... But, have I ever met any of you before? It's just... you all seem a bit familiar."
