*Giggle-snort* Tostitoes should not sleep when she's havin girly moments. They leave her extra-extra-super-duper-supercalafragilisticexpialidotious-hyper!!!! *pants* Anyhoo-haw..... The land of Arden has constantly and frequently (LAWL) been ravaged by dragons. Coming down from the sky, they raze entire villages, steal livestock, and eat the third daughter of every married couple. Why the third? No one knows.... Bounties were put on dragons, that anyone not engaged in the fighting should try his skill at dragon hunting. Note the sexist implication there. Women were not allowed to partake in these events, however. They were to stay at home and home an aerial attack didnt leave them homeless. None dared to dig out the courage to follow the footsteps of their fathers or brothers. Until Aaona (Ana, for short), a young elfling woman, age 18, a high-spirited, sarcastic, orphan strategist, found an abandoned dragon egg while hunting in the woods.... Rulez!!! -Gender ratios even peas! Carrots! -One other elfling (partial elf) permitted. First come first serve. No ifs, ands, butts, or coconuts. -Three -other- dragon riders. Everyone else has to stay on the boring ground. At least one male. They can haz 'fighting skillz' women dont 'posess'. -Free form. No bio needed. -Tell how awesome How To Train Your Dragon is and I'll go yay! -First person to join-and remain active- gets a digital drawing (Cuz I can do that now) of their character. Maybe. .....Most likely. -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ana travled down the cobbled road in the capital city several paces before turning sharply and heading back the way she had come, her steel soled boots clicking and making sparks on the oncrete as the elfling paced. She bit her thumbnail nervously while her long legs carried her the random distance she had set in her mind before turning onehundred-eighty degrees yet again.
Her head pounded and thoughts bounced around the inside of her skull. Roiben was nearly a month old...almost to big to hide in the shed for very much longer. She didnt think he'd like the quarry very much so that left one place remaining; the forest.Ah, but men hunted there...for dragons and otherwise. There was no place safe...
Ana stopped pacing and let her hand come away from her mouth, a slight smile taking its place. Unless they flew....Kerone wasnt having any dragon problems lately, and Roiben would be able to fly in a few months- She groaned and slid the her rear, leaning her back against a nearby structure. They didnt have months. Roiben would surely be discovered in that time...then what? He would be mercilessly slaughtered and she most likely hung for treason or burned at the stake as a witch for befriending a dragon with majyk she didnt posess...A sigh left the girls lips.

**I wish to join, but the movie, how to train your dragon was HORRIBLE!!! It was not based off the books, not even the characters were correct. READ the books and then tell me what you think of the movies: First off, there are no night furies and no females that are training in the program... NONE! Most of the females, except for the adults are in a completely different tribe. Hiccup could speak to Dragons, not magically train them (Alright, so it wasn't magic) There was no Astrid, but there was Camicazi, the daughter of the cheiften of the other tribe. And Snotlout was a bully, fishlegs was skinny as a twig with Asthma and a squint and he was alergic to just about everything and they didn't even have the plot right. TOOTHLESS was not a NIGHT FURY, being that there were none in the book, and he was as big as a DSi XL. He was teeny tiny and litteraly had NO TEETH, they didn't pop out of his gums. By the way, one of the worst parts is that Dragons, yes, were feared, but they were not hunted, they were kept as *censored*istants, helping in battle. -End Rant- Sorry, I am kind of tired of people saying the movie was amazing, but I geuss everybody is entitled to their own opinion.)) ((I know it wasnt based well off the book....but neither are half the other books made movies'. When you dont judge it based off the book, you have to admit it was pretty good. Even if I had read the book first I still would have thought that. The only movie I didnt really like about not goin with the book (And really bugged me about)was Eragon. A good movie, to be sure, but they left out 5 people, places, and things...not to mention butchered Angela's character...XD Im sorry that Twilight didnt follow that example.))
