Sasuke sat in the dark room. His bed was messy and he paid no mind to it. His gaze was only to the dimming moon in the brightening morning sky. He couldn't sleep that night or for that matter, lay down at all. Either he refused to or he had something troubling him. Sasuke stood up and opened the window. He climbed out and only sat on the rooftop. He looked down at his feet then back up to the sky. The sky was a light grey by the time he looked up again. It's been a few years since that day... Orochimaru... He only wanted me for my body and nothing more. That lowlife snake. He looked out to the horizon of Konaha as the sun began to rise. He had come back but he knew he was in much trouble. He had run away and was considered a ROGUE NINJA. He sighed and stood up.

(i bring in Gaara when needed.. But i calls Gaara!!)

Along the sandy surface of the desert, just between the borders of the leaf village and the sand village, a lone figure roamed. A black cloak emblazoned with red clouded designs announced that it was one among the Akatsuki. Normally, Akatsuki members traveled in pairs, but this one traveled alone today.
Normally, he'd have his partner Tobi with him. But since Pein for some reason sent him out to get information on the tailed beasts alone, here he was. The blonde male known as Deidara walked aimlessly, deciding to stay just outside of the perimeter of the villages so he could be out of the danger zone and capture info at the same time.

Who, me? -shrugs- I dun care. I found my Deidara plushie again! He is so cute. -pats Dei's head-

Deidara: -.- Don't touch me...

"You."

Shikamaru's lazy voice split the calm of the evening. From his place in one of the tallest trees in the forest, he could see everything above and below the treeline - and had taken notice of Deidara's presence. Suspicious but careful, the Chuunin followed the Akatsuki, tailing him like a shadow in the gathering darkness. He didn't appear to be doing anything dangerous - he was only gathering information it appeared, and he was alone. But still, taking on an Akatsuki was danger enough, whether or not they were with their partner. However, Shikamaru's curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to speak to the Akatsuki - kuso, he hated being curious.

"I could report you to higher authorities, and you could be disposed of - but I won't. All I want to know is what you're doing here. Tell me that, and I'll leave you be." Shikamaru thought a little white lie would soften the Akatsuki, make it easier to pry information from him. He smiled casually, revealing his weaponless hands to the Akatsuki as a sign of peace. But naturally, he had planned ahead...

Gaara looked out the window of his office/room. He yawned and looked into the sky. The sun was blazing and the clouds began to role in a little. He sighed and turned his chair back around. He scribbled some notes and his signature on some papers. He placed them to the side of the desk and stood up. He was Kazekage and really had nothing more to do than sit in the office and wait for papers. The day was going like any other, but Gaara felt something wasn't right.

"This day is just going to be like any other. I should just sit here and write all day. That's all I do anyways..."

He sighed and walked to the window. The sand was lightly carried in the wind and the sand people looked happy. He knew he had been entrusted with the Village's safety, but he knew others didn't like him being so high in authority.  Afterall, he is a monster.

Shinsa stood high in a tree top as she looked over the forest by the vibrations she felt through the ground that traveled up the trunk. Tilting her head to one side, she felt two figures -- both male -- wandering the forest. Well, one was in a tree. The other was on the ground. Tilting her head to one side, she wondered why?

[[ -wants to pound litte brother- He is being an *** at the moment. ]]

People meet for a reason, Shinsa-san, said Hachibi as she purred the thought through Shinsa's mind. Like that'll help anyway. A growl escaped her lips as she slowly descended the tree, careful to keep her fingers on the bark as much as possible.

Sara's eye slit open as the noise of Deidara's departure made her shift up and follow the pony tailed Akatsuki. Ever since she eavesdropped on Pein's and his conversation, it made the curious girl wonder what mission it could have been so since she had nothing better to do since she didn't have a partner, Sara decided to follow the male. She stumbled across the hot desert with ease as in her head she complained on how much this was a bad idea. When they finally pa.ssed the sand village and entered the forest of the fire region. The blonde male seemed to walk on the edges of the both regions perhaps trying to not get spotted. She sealed her chakra so she wouldn't get spotted.

"Kya!! This is so boring!" Sara spoke to herself as she stretched both her arms in the air. he feet suddenly became a halt as the member a few 50 feet away from her also stopped. She felt the presence of another shinobi. Her eyes wondered around as she saw a Ninja from the Fire nation. His hair tied back in a high pony tail. Either that nin doesn't know who the Akatsuki are or doesn't fear one, the shinobi approached Deidara with his hands showing now weapons and his face with a smile. Sara had the urge to giggle and jump on the nin but resisted because she would show herself to the blonde Akatsuki defiantly getting her into trouble. She didn't want to start a fight either. It would indanger nearby villages and the woodland animals. Sara sighed on how her thoughts were so pathetic. But it was true ming you.

"Kehee, this might be fun," She whispered as she closed her non sharingan eye and looked at the Fire Shinobi with interest.

Three different presences all hit Deidara at once. Two were in hiding, and one foolishly decided to make an appearance. The blonde's cerulean eyes lit up, sparking with interest as he listened to the shinobi's words with intent, and he has to bite his lower lip to keep himself from laughing when the other raised his arms up in surrender. Did everyone all of a sudden just think he was stupid?

"I see... And why would I tell you my motivation plans, un? You think a simple threat to sit here and annoy me is going to make me confess?" He smirked. "I'm afraid you've got the wrong impression. Matter o' fact, go ahead, show off a bit for me. It'll finally give me something to do."

Ooc; XD Wow, too many people stalking Deidara.

Shikamaru's eyes narrowed - he was slowly becoming irritated by this Akatsuki. He wasn't like the other one, Hidan - he clenched his hands into fists and rested them stiffly at his sides at the thought of the one who had murdered his sensei.

"I am merely offering you a chance to be left alone. If you don't comply, I'm afraid I'll have to take you in, and the Hokage can deal with you." The Nara dropped down onto one knee - standing for this long was so mendokuse. His tone was casual, as was his posture; but behind his onyx eyes, the wheels of his plan were turning. Things could easily go sour here...

Deidara huffed and rolled his eyes. It was always the same with these ignorant children. They underestimated him, and underestimating any Akatsuki was a dangerous thing to do.

"What makes you think I'll cooperate, and allow you to take me in so easily?" He scoffed. "Like I said, you can try. If you win, I'll go. But if I win, you go crawling back to where you came from with gratitude of my decision to be merciful."

"I'm not taking you by your choice - I'd take you down by force." Shikamaru growled. It amazed him that some of the Akatsuki could be so childish. Life's not a game unless you know how to play...and his pawns were already in motion.

The trees barely moved as a white flash shot through them; a ninja was moving. Quickly. Too quickly to be anything easy to beat. Shikamaru didn't let any emotion p*censored* his countenance as he watched his first pawn move into place. He couldn't help but smile mentally at his comrade's silence - the Hyuuga wasn't making a sound as he shifted through the trees, moving too fast to be heard and almost too swiftly to be seen.

Neji narrowed his Byakugan as he locked in on Deidara. Chakra hummed beneath his skin, warming his fingertips as he prepared to strike; he dropped out of the tree behind the Akatsuki, remaining completely silent as he closed in with speed that would make Gai-sensei envious...

"Juuken!" The Hyuuga only gave away his presence when he was mere inches from Deidara, his smooth voice a call to attack.
