Fang had had enough. Grabbing Total from Max, he kept a tight hold on him before leaning over to the microwave and shutting the door, muffling the dogs noises. "Its probably the one place he cant get out of. Nobody turn it on" he instructed, all the while keeping his eyes on Molly. "Who are you and where did you come from?" He repeated to her.
Just make it green, blue, white, and swirly. :D

Molly drew her hands closer to herself under Fang's stare. "I'm Molly," She said, determined to not sound weak or scared.
Wasn't anyone afraid of her? "I'm on the run. I was mugged, and your sister took care of my injuries. I'll only be staying for a bit." She decided it was best to be honest. These people treated her like a normal person, and they had, after all, saved her life.
After a moment she glanced sharply up at him, meeting his eyes. "You said 'The Institute'." She noted. "...How do you know about it?"

Total yelled from inside the microwave, whimpering as well. "That's it, this is real animal abuse! You'll be hearing from my lawyer!! And PETA! You won't get away with this! Fang, you monster!!" He slammed himself against the microwave door, but only succeeded in bruising himself up. (Seadragon, you have made my day. Sticking him in a microwave...Priceless. If I used that idea in a fanfic someday, would you mind?) |

Molly blinked, misunderstanding the glance between the two.
The realization of the truth, or what she thought was the truth, struck her like lighnting. Shocking and sudden.
She started backing away. "You came from the Institute?" She demanded, slowly widening the distance between them. "The talking dog, Total. Your apparent indifference to my wings. And then you said the Institute..." She narrowed her eyes to slits, then put her hand on the door.
"Well, I don't care what you scientists do to catch me, because I swear you never will. I'm free now! Leave me alone!" She swung open the door and rushed out onto the still-wet gr*censored*, long tapering wings unfurling as she did.

"Wait, Molly!!" Max called, chasing her out the door. She grabbed the girls arm before she could take off and forced her to turn towards her. "We're not scientists, we're not going to turn you in to the Institute, we're experiments just like you."

Molly tugged her arm away. "Oh, really?" She snapped, all essence of the quiet, scared girl gone in the face of danger. It was obvious she didn't believe Max. "Show me then. How are you different?" She took a few steps back for good measure, ready to bolt at a moment's notice.

Quick as a fox, Fang came up behind Molly and gripped her arm. "Don't try to get away. iI might be forced to break your arm, and you dont want that. How are you different?" he almost growled. "And you will not get away with lying." Seeing her hesitate, he asked, "Would you mind if I took off your jacket for a moment?" looking back at Max with a nod, as he had brushed up against her back a moment before.
Just make it green, blue, white, and swirly. :D

Molly glanced at Fang, alarmed by his threat. She whirled around, placing her hand on his wrist. She was about to return the favour when she heard Max speak.
"We're like you. Both me and Fang, that boy in there. Even Total has wings. Now, please put your wings in before someone sees."
Molly glanced backwards, not keen on letting Fang do something unexpected while she was distracted. She saw Max's wings. Oh...
Immediately she folded them against her back with a nod. "Always pays to be careful." Molly glanced at Fang. "You can let me go now." She reminded him, eyes narrowing slightly.
