Ooc:// Thank you for waiting. You guys were moving pretty quickly. And a crush on Hatsu is fine with me. He needs some love in his heart. ^.^ Bic:// Duma pulled her ears back as she heard the yelps. Her gaze turned and focused on Jesca before sighing. "Oh dear" she said softly not really liking when owners went crazy and beat their pets. "Hatsu..." She said softly but he shook his head. "Go to Risk and Supriya. Let me speak with her" Hatsu said departing from Duma who cointinued foward to meet with Risk and Supriya. Hatsu gave off a soft growl towards Sara and her master. He kept his head low eyeing Sara's master in suspicion as he neared Jesca. "May I ask what provoked your master in doing this to you?" he asked sitting down near her. He didn't care if she jumped or growled at him. He could easily defend himself and he wasn't afraid to do that. ----- Risk and Supriya pulled their ears back looking over at Jesca and the others. Even though they were curious they didn't go near them at all. "Risk..." Supriya frowned watching him get up and begin to trot over to them. "Sit back down Risk" Duma snapped comming into sight. Risk pulled his ears back and plopped his butt back on the cold snow whimpering slightly. "Come on. What's wrong with her?" He asked tilting his head to the side. "Being nosey will get you killed Risk. Just please wait for Hatsu. We have words of advice for you two about the compitition. In fact I would like to speak with all dogs. Hatsu is telling the others as we speek." Duma sighed looking up at the sky.

Sara turned her head towards Hatsu, "Take a pill, I'm trying to help, and so is he," she said as she nudged her master's leg. She looked at Jesca and whined again wanting to comfort her, but she was afraid to get too close. Sara's master looked at Hatsu and said, "Hey big guy, come to see the commotion too." Too bad that dogs couldn't understand human speech.

He hated being talked to like that. He disurved respect and that was what he was going to get in his mind. "Anyway. Duma would like to speak with you about the compitition comming up. She has Risk at the moment" he sighed looking at her still not happy about her little comment. |

Jesca's growls faded when she saw the older dog appear. Her hackles lowered once she noticed the large long-leg hadn't snapped or tried to hit the large black male, and instead spoke to it in a soft voice.
'I didn't provoke him,' she cried in answer to Hatsu's question. 'He was beating me because I stumbled when I was training. I don't think he understands this only makes it worse.' She whimpered again and pawed at the hard ground in front of her nose. 'I don't enjoy this,' she whispered in a softer voice. 'And I do nothing to make him angry at me.'
She looked at Hatsu with pleading brown eyes. 'Please get me away from him. I'd do anything to get away from here. Far away.'

Hatsu’s blue gaze focused on Jesca before sighing. “I am afraid I can not get you away from him. You are in chains and chains are not as simple to break with teeth or else I would. I am strongly against owners beating their pets” he gave a soft growl pulling his ears back. “I can train you if you wish once you do get free. I suggest you turn on him when he unchains you or takes your collar off. Run into the snowy hills just outside of the town and don’t come down until you think he has left, but that is what I would do to get away from one such as him” he sighed looking up at the sky. He wanted to help her but couldn’t because she was chained up.

“Haha. You got in trouble Risk” Supriya laughed laying down in the snow wondering what exactly Duma wanted. “Which route will you take Duma? I know you older dogs get the head pick of the routes” She said pawing at her nose that seemed to itch.
“This year I am not taking a route. My duty is to stay behind, but I will get more into that when Hatsu joins us” She sighed focusing her brown gaze upon Risk who had both of his ears pulled back watching the small group near Jesca.
“Can’t we go see what’s wrong? I want to know. I don’t want to sit here. It is boring” he complained laying down and whimpering. He used his front paws to crawl forward towards the group but Duma jumped to her feet and lept in front of him snarling.
“Risk” she snapped at the younger dog causing him to draw back and whimper. “Leave them be! It is not your place” she sighed extremely disappointed in him.

Jesca growled and shook her head angrily. 'I hate chains,' she murmured, wincing at the harsh rattling noises the chains made with any movement she made. 'But I can escape. He lets me go for a little while when he's attaching me to my training collar. I'll escape then.'
The sudden creaking noise of the cabin's door alerted Jesca, and her ears perked up. 'Get away, now! He'll be mad if he sees other dogs near me.' She whimpered with fear and nudged Hatsu's paw with her own.

Hatsu jumped to his feet and looked at the door that Jesca's owner was comming out of. "If you manage do to get away. Find me near the doctor's hut" he said before running off and stepping beside Duma who gave a curious look.
"We will do this later" Hatsu said softly perking his ears looking back at Jesca curious on to what her master was going to do.

Jesca's master scowled at the other long-leg and his dog, Sara. 'Git out of my property!' he roared angrily, brandishing a long wooden cane. 'Yeh have no right ter be here. Now git! Away from meh dog!' He saved an extra glare for Sara, and waved the cane once more in the air.
Jesca whimpered and covered her eyes fearfully. 'Go,' she whispered, 'Get away from him.' |

Sara growled at the man and got ready to attack this abusive master, but her master held her back. "Just what do you think you're doing hitting your dog so hard that she bleeds?" Sara's master asked. He was mad now. Sara sat down next to her master, but didn't break her gaze upon Jesca's master.

Hatsu pulled his ears back and sighed. "One shouldn't meddle in another's buisness" he growled glaring at Jesca's master. He wanted to attack him but held off and just sat down upon the snow. Duma looked at Hatsu before letting out a huff and laying down on the soft snow. "So we will tell them later. I wonder who's going to win this battle" she whispered looking up at the sky. Her mind wandered to the up comming race. Her ears automatically pulled back as she layed her head upon her paws. "Poor children." |

It was obvious that Jesca's master was not pleased with the other dog's master. 'Get away or I'll call the police on you. They'll set you straight, or I will.' He gave a gap-toothed smile, beating his cane against one palm rhythmically. [Sorry, I'm really brain-dead right now.] |

Sara's master reached for something shiny at his belt, a tazer, but his hand dropped to his side instead. "Police, what about animal control?" he said pointing towards Jesca. Sara walked up beside her master and gave Jesca's master a menacing glare along with a growl. "Shh," Sara's master said as he patted her head.
