Zallion blinked at Trixi's allusion to him, and gave a small smile. He still had his guard up, and felt uneasy about Akari being so close to the other dog. Akari gave a soft laugh. "We're no threat to you, but if we're on your territory, why don't you just say so." She slipped back, closer to Zallion. "I'm Akari, and this is Zallion." she flicked an ear at him. "And Scarlet, I guess you could say so." With a dip of her head, she continued. "It's a pleasure to meet you all." |

Trixi wagged her tail, "well, this is atown, so its more the humans teritory." She shrugged, "don't mind Scarlet, she just doesnt trust easily apparently. I'm suprised she trusts me, since we just met this morning. But maybe its because I look so young. I'm actually two years old."

Scarlet snarled at Trixi and smacked her jaw softly with her paw. "Stop talking!" She muttered and looked back up at The two dogs. "What do you want?"

Akari tilted her head slightly. "Oh, come on, guys. Let's stop all this nonsense now. We don't intend to hurt anyone, Scarlet. Zallion and I are best friends, and we were just.... abandoned, let me say. After all those years of service, they throw us out like rotten garbage!" she snarled with distaste, flicking her tail. |

Trixi glared savagely at Scarlet. Her muzzle stung where Scarlet's paw had hit it. She wanted to growl, but she knew Scarlet hand meant it. Instead, she lay down and just watched what happened.

Sapphire looked at Scarlet in a puzzled way and said"I don't mean to harm anyone." He swished his tail and laughed softly to himself, quite amused at Scarlet's behavior.

Akari looked at Sapphire, then back to Scarlet. "To be frank, you're being overprotective." she said gently. "Besides, Trixi looks quite able to take care of herself." Zallion put in quietly. |

Scarlet growled at Akari and Zallion. "She has never been outside her two-walker sscum's back yard. I have to be." She growled and once again scooped her up under herself. "I don't want Trixi to be killed, like so many dogs that have been with me have. I wasn't protective enough. Now I am." She muttered darkly to the two dogs.

Zallion shrugged his shoulders. He was about to say something about overprotectiveness, when Akari growled. "Wolves are dogs' ancestors. And we all can defend ourselves, as wolves can. Trixi's a dog too. She can take care of herself." |
