Ebony curiously inspected her surroundings and it's inhabitants before turning her attention to the conversation with interest. This looks like it'll be good. She thought as she flexed her fingers and twisted her spine lazily. "Yeah. I'm Ebony."
Wharshin tucked his antennae deeper into his hood and prepared himself to defend Ebony, which would most likely involve absorbing blows. I do wish she would avoid danger.

Caitlyn flinched when the man was killed. She looked away from the blood, instead choosing to look at the soldier behind her who had his hand resting firmly on her back. She felt the blood of the soldier grow sticky under her knees.

She regained her composure, and said, this time in a slightly more shaky voice than before, "Well, that's no way to impress a girl." She grinned falsely. If there was one thing she wouldn't give up, it was her pride. Or her sense of humour. Either way, she wasn't going to comply.

Ray snarled at the guard holding her down. she looked at the dead body in the middle of the prisoners. she tryed to straighten up but was forced down by a stronge hand. "curse these chain," she muttered. she looked down at the body again. "i'm not afraid of death," she thought "maybe something interesting will happen." "Rayless," ray said loudly with a growl in her voice.

Kaina stared from her kneeling position. Cocking her head to the side, she performed a slow bl
ink with her bug-like black eyes. The Shryght makes a slight grimace before speaking. "Far from what can be called a welcome," she observes flatly. "I am called Kaina."

The soldier behind Caitlyn struck her in the back of the head with it's gun, but luckily Ralu-Desh did not hear the comment.
Ralu-Desh smiled as Ray and Kaina gave their names. "See, is it not so hard to comply with our wishes and avoid unnecessary purging of life! The rest of you, give your names so we can continue with the procession."

Wharshin's antennae twitched in irritation but decided it was in his best intrests to answer. "I go by Wharshin."
Holly hugged herself and hoped the others would be cautious with their answers.  "I'm Holly."

Caitlyn let out a cry when she was struck and fell down on her face. She hissed, but made no further comment. She looked back up at Ralu-Desh and glared defiantly at him. No way was she giving her name. He didn't look like a sorcerer to her, but she couldn't be too careful.

"Excellent, I am glad we have gotten the uncertainty and misunderstanding out of the way so early on in the processions." Ralu-Desh said. He then looked down at Caitlyn. "Or at least most of us have."
The soldier behind Caityln forced her head down so she couldn't make eye contact with him.

Caitlyn made a sound of pure hatred that sounded like somewhere between a growl and a hiss. She tried to move her head up and away from the soldier's grip, but she wasn't strong enough. "You bet your hairy white backside I haven't," she muttered angrily, and spat as close to Ralu-Desh's feet as she possibly could in her compromised position.

The soldier next to the one behind Caityln fired by Caitlyn's leg, the bolt of artificial solar radiation striking the ground, but still scorched Caitlyn's leg because of the heat.

Caitlyn cried out curses and grunted through her gritted teeth as her flesh sizzled. She could feel her skin burning and welting. She had no access to cool water so the wound would hurt for a long time. She squeezed her eyes tightly closed to prevent herself from shedding tears and to try and shut out the pain.

Ralu-Desh smiled down at Caitlyn from his throne. "Give your ti
tle fish-human so we may continue with the ceremony and begin our righteous quest! I have been patient with you because I admire your bravery, but you are still replaceable and your moral life may not be required for the good of the Adep'Sar."
The guard pointed the gun at Caitlyn's head this time, the long golden rectangle humming and the glass chamber on the top-back of the gun glowed orange brighter.

Tears welled themselves up in Caitlyn's eyes, but she brushed them away forcefully so she did not show weakness. She took a shuddering breath into her dry mouth, and said, "My name is Danielle, and I'll comply." She looked back up at Ralu-Desh, this time with fear and a plea for life in her eyes rather than hatred. Caitlyn was a brilliant actress.

Ralu-Desh looked at her disgustedly. He was pleased that he had made them all bow to his power so easily, even if it was his destiny to guide and rule, but was disappointed she had broken as much as she had. "Excellent!" He exclaimed.
He stepped down from his throne, and pointed his staff to the roof of the chamber. "You, chosen warriors and fighters from across the black sky, you villains, heroes and unaligned soldiers, you have been bestowed a destiny by Solaru, Lumaru and all of their children! Your destiny is to save the Adep'Sar, vanquish evil and earn a place in the Hall of Eternity's memorials! You have been selected and mistreated because your strength and will must be strong for the arduous journey you are about to face! You are the heroes of the 1794th Reparation!"
The honor guard knelt down and raised a sword and pistol each, the pistol in their left hand pointing left and the sword in their right.

"Hero's huh?" Ebony said, cocking her head slightly and looking at Ralu-Desh. "Yeah, no. I'm more the villain type."

Ralu-Desh ignored Ebony's comment. He swung his staff along slowly, pointing at all of the prisoners. "You will now be taken to a StormCloud gunship and transported to the Parade of Reparation. There you will be held up in all your prowess for the Adep'Sar to see and know and there you will learn more about the holy quest you are being sent upon! You will bask in adoration and glory, but take it in whilst you can, for it may be the last drink of greatness you take in your mortal life!"

Suddenly the honor guard were back in their former positions beside Ralu-Desh's Throne and the soldiers were hauling the prisoners out onto the massive golden balcony.
The soldier behind Caitlyn pulled her to her feet and pushed her along after all the others had gone.
Ralu-Desh smiled as they were forced away. I do enjoy my duty.

Caitlyn threw back her arms at the soldier who had grabbed her, and elbowed him hard in the ribs. She walked quickly with the other prisoners, trying to get herself lost in the group so she wouldn't be harmed any more.

The soldier growled, the helmet making the noise sound robotic, and raised his gun, but the squad's leader, a soldier with a red sun-ray crest, put his hand on the gun.
The soldier grabbed Ebony's shoulder and shoved her in front of him.
