(( Oh, you're right Grayvs. The letters look similar. My mistake. I'll edit it. :3 ))

Seth was quiet, and when she spoke her mouth was dry. "Good question. Who here is mobile?" She asked, feeling her brain resume it's regular awareness. She used her arms to hold her up, though her legs still refused to move.
She watched the cliff warily, in case the earth started shifting again. She had moved earlier to save herself from a rockslide, but hadn't been able to move since.
She raised her arm and gave her leg a solid whack. It was numb, she could tell. But it also seemed to be out of place.
"Oh." Seth said quietly. "Um, who here knows how to set dislocated limbs?" She gave a weak smile. It was just her right knee, luckily, that was twisted up.

[[I hate to be a whiner, but that's the reason I hate my username. Misreading! D:]]

There was a buzzing. A fuzzy, muffled sound that was everywhere, and yet only in his head. It was the only noise besides the silence, and he could do nothing but lay there, listening to the humming. His head ached. It ached more than that time he got hit with a pipe. He felt like throwing up, and felt like he couldn't throw up. Voices perpetrated the fog, and his eyelids flickered. A low moan escaped his throat, and his hand found its way to his face.

Everything was accounted for. It was so bright. What happened? Where was he— oh. Oh no. The plane... the plane crash. Beatrix's eyes shot open, and he sat up— with some difficulty, considering he was covered in some debris. He managed to wriggle free, ignoring his shirt ripping on some metal. Where was Eugene? And though he hated to even be in a situation to even care— where was Danny?

He stumbled over some debris, squinting his eyes around, and holding his head. His hair was clumped, and it was stuck together with warm, oozing liquid. He'd worry about that later. There were people, and for a moment, didn't want to care about them until he found his friends. But the girl was asking about dislocated limbs, and he had a feeling the other two wouldn't know what to do.

Beatrix cleared his throat, raising a hand as he navigated over. He couldn't seem to find his voice.

 - - -

He had been awake for a few minutes already, and hadn't been able to get very far from where he woke up. Danny sat on a log, head cradled in his hands as he tried to make sense of what was going on, and try to quell the rambling in his head. It was wet and gross— he was pretty sure his shoes got sucked off in the mud, because he didn't think he was wearing them any more.

Danny was pulled out of his reverie at the sound of a muffled shouting, and he quickly got to his feet. He hadn't heard anyone since he woke up... it was so quiet. So many were dead, face down in the mud, some of them were crushed by fallen pieces from the plane. It wasn't hard to find where the noise was coming from, and he found himself looking up into a tree.

"Oh jeez, 'Gene Thank Go— Thank Somebody you're okay!" He gasped, peering up at the boy as he swayed back and forth on the branch he was stuck too. It was his coats fault, and it was a wonder the branch hadn't snapped. "D-Danny?" Eugene sobbed, his shaking hands lowering from his face. "Yeah, hey, don't do that. Come on, what are you, a girl? Can you get your coat off? I'll catch you." Danny said, positioning himself below the boy and holding his arms out. Eugene wasn't really that far off the ground, but the added shock of every thing else probably made this more frightening than it would have been in another situation.

"Catch me? You couldn't catch a cold you idiot!" Eugene bit out, holding securely onto his coat and trembling.
"Eugene, now is not the time to—"

Before either could really react, the branch snapped in half, and Eugene fell suddenly and quickly on to Danny, rather than in his arms, which would have been the preferred outcome. Mud and water quickly engulfed them, but just as quickly they popped back up, one swearing and spitting mud out of his mouth, the other almost bawling.

Shaking his head and wincing, Danny stood up, dragging Eugene up with him. "That wasn't so hard, was it?" He asked, slapping the younger boy on the back. Eugene's lips trembled. "I think I wet my pants." He muttered, lamely. Danny managed a chuckle, at his expense, and patted him on the back again. "Don't think it matters, bud, we're both pretty soaked, now."

"Now we just have to find Bea. Jeez, crash landing. Do you have any wilderness survival skills? We might have to cannibalize you..." Danny continued to ramble as Eugene clambered up on to a tree stump to examine the wreckage. "Danny," He said, but was cut off as his friend kept talking. "Danny! The plane... Bea wasn't... he wasn't in his seat. When it happened. The plane is... it's..." he couldn't say it, and a horrible feeling settled into the pit of his stomach.

Danny glanced up at him sharply, scowling. "Don't! Do. Not. He's fine. I'm going to find him. Don't give me that look, I swear I will strangle you, right here and now!" And he turned around, storming off as fast as someone without shoes in a bog could go. Looking for a body face down in the muck with long, black hair.

Crime(s): Multiple break-ins and one recorded a.ssault.
What Side of the Plane?: 1
Strengths: Her quick wit is what has saved Saryah many times from being exposed about her crimes. She is considered very sly and seems to have a way with people. She also tends to be an excellent actor, able to play many different parts to twist others around her finger.
Weakness: Being small Saryah isn't very hard to knock around, especially since she lacks a lot of strength. Also tends to have a problem with her attitude and temper, blowing her top even when only mildly insulted.
S.O: Straight.
Other: Naw

____

The cabin was filled with a thick black smoke that made it hard to breathe in. Closing my eyes and trying to steady my nerves I gave an involuntry gasp when I yet again sucked in more of the deadly smog into my lungs. 'Crap,' I hissed none to happily, feeling the space beside me to check if anyone was there. No one.

Where's the exit? I thought, nearly hysterical with fear. I couldn't hear any other than my own rasping breath and hacking coughs that seemed to rip my chest apart. With a shudder of revulsion a crippling thought besieged my mind. Maybe...everyone, is dead.

Either that or they had escaped, which meant there must be an exit, somewhere. I smiled, only to take in more of the smoke. Clawing at my neck I stumbled over the edge of my seat and knelt on the ground, my throat clogged with the smoke.

I had to get out of here. It was either that or die.

Holding one hand over my mouth I slowly began to crawl forwards, deliriously happy with the fact that the pathways in a plane were straight. There was no getting lost, even in this smog.

Moving forwards at an agonizingly slow pace my heart leaped with joy at the white light that shone to my left, even through the heavy smoke. Yes, thought with a sigh of relief, clawing my way blindly towards it.

Of course, I just had to fall out of the plane.

Sliding over the edge I gave a short scream, though it came out more like a strangled hacking noise from all the soot in my lungs and throat. I landed on the hard earth, feeling the little breath I still had knocked out of me as my back hit the ground.

Rolling to the side to catch my breath my heart stopped when I suddenly felt nothing beneath me. First I was safe -or sort of- and then, I was falling.

I couldn't even utter a scream as I fell for a few heartstopping -though my heart had already grinded to a halt- moments, only to land again on something hard and with little give.

Thank God, I thought with a small smile gracing my lips. I was safe, for now. Opening my eyes, which had been closed and stayed so since i had been in the plane, I looked to my left, and saw nothing but blue water.

'Crap,' I muttered again helplessly.

And just as he asked, two more survivors clawed their way out of the plane. His gaze was caught on the girl who'd sort of cried out, before shifting to the other girl who.. who was actually definitely a boy. Cain could tell because of the ripped shirt. Oops..

"I can.. walk in a second.." He'd replied to Seth's question, really hoping that would be the case. He had to pull himself together quickly. Everyone was hurt. They wouldn't have the resources or even the time to take care of everyone at once, not that they'd be able to do much with their limited capabilities anyway- unless someone was a medic. He couldn't expect any immediate treatment himself, as there was almost definitely someone who needed it more than him. So he just had to keep going and not draw any uneccessary concern.

But if this black-haired boy knew anything about setting someone's dislocated leg, then maybe he knew something about first-aid. This might end up working out. Cain didn't make any move to go over to the girl who'd screamed. If she could move, she'd come over here. If not, then he guessed he'd go over to help out in a second when he was very sure he wasn't going to p*censored* out.

Seth looked up at Cain, not even bothering to raise her hand against the sun. "Make it quick, I might attack you." She murmured, loud enough for him to hear as she glanced away. She was serious, too; the moment she felt pain any more serious than a papercut, she retaliated. Violently.

She shifted slightly in the sand so she was facing Cain. "It's just my knee." She said, whacking her right knee in indication. The more time she spent talking and breathing and being awake, the more alive she felt. The intense heat- hidden behind a cool breeze- was doing wonders for her. She loved warmth.

[[Well, Bea didn't actually say anything. he kind of grunted. xD; Grr. Bea Fix Leg. Bea Doc Tor.]]

Beatrix scowled at the sun and huffed loudly as he made it over to the other survivors— he was fairly disappointed, upon seeing them up close, and marked them all off as doomed. After casting a glance at the precarious edge of earth, Bea frowned at Seth. If she thought that she, the little midget with the busted leg could attack either of them, and not lose, she was a very disillusioned midget.

The pounding in his head wasn't getting any better. "Maybe we should just leave your leg dislocated, then, with that attitude." He said, in greeting. His voice certainly didn't betray him, it was far too deep for such a pretty face. Yet somehow, still not deep enough.

He looked at Cain, dark eyebrow raising in the slightest hint of doubt. Sure. He'd be able to help your condition, silly dislocated knee girl. Despite her promises to attack like a spazz, Beatrix crouched down and frowned at her leg.

"If it's your knee... hmm. That isn't quite an easy fix... Sorry, dear heart, but your leg isn't a pop cap. It's gonna need a splint after I... try to put it back where it needs to be. And there is the chance sever damage has been done. Are you fond of dancing?" He asked, picking up a nearby stick and looking at it appraisingly "If you are, you might want to come up with some new hobbies. That involve sitting and not moving your leg at all."

Rubbing dirt and muck off of his brow, Bea held the stick out to Seth. "Might want to bite down, Conan, just in case. I've never had to tend to a dislocated knee before."

Right. So I was stuck here on the side of a cliff and they were busy splinting the other girl's leg. Still, I couldn't blame them. They most likely hadn't noticed. Giving a silent cuss under my breath I managed to heft myself up into a sitting position on whatever I was sitting on. Looking down I nearly lost my balance.

I was sitting on a tree. A scrawny little tree hanging over the ocean, not to mention those jagged rocks down there. 'Crap, crap, crap,' was all I could manage at the moment, my hands clenching the trunk of the tree/bush tightly.

What an absolutely wonderful time to be scared of heights. Just so useful to me.

'Hey,' I attempted to call the others, hoping that there might be someone there to help me, but my ash-clogged throat could only manage a throaty whisper this time around. Again, I thought miserably.

'Hello!'

Alright, so it came out more high-pitched than I expected, so now I sounded like some useless girl that couldn't do much besides worry, but I was getting worried and any help right now was welcome.

'Help, please...'

Seth rolled her eyes. "You're hilarious." She said acidly. "I wasn't threatening you- I was warning you. I tend to overreact." She eyed him for a moment, then brushed the stick away with one hand. "Thanks for the offer, but I'd rather bite down on something that's not infested with maggots." She waved her arm in indication, then smiled slightly.
"Besides, I know the potential consequences. But I'd rather have a damaged, useless leg than a damaged, useless, pained leg. What say you?"
Her eyes flickered over to the girl clinging to the tree, but she figured this wouldn't take long. Five minutes at most. Besides, there were others around; they could help her.

Cain wobbled up to his feet, finally looking down at himself. His clothes were tattered, and any visible portion of skin on him was caked with blood and grime. He could still feel warm liquid running over the side of his face, so he figured that he probably looked just as terrible as the rest of them. But the point of getting up hadn't been to take in what a sight he was. He'd been goaded into action by the sound of that girl's cry for help.

"Hang on a sec," he called back, before making his way over to her. He got the hang of walking by the time he made it to the cliffside, looking out to the trapped girl. Well this was wonderful.. He didn't even like being so near to the edge of a cliff, it made his head start to swim dizzily again. He shook it off, offering a filthy hand out to the girl.
"H-here, I'll help you back," he announced, rather lamely. Cain just wasn't the heroic type. And, really, he wasn't sure that he wouldn't just end up getting both of them to fall into oblivion. He just felt tired and weak. He couldn't even tell where he was injured, he just registered the pain in his body as a throbbing, all-encomp*censored*ing ache.

Sara looked at her leg and frowned. It was oozing blood again. It trickled down her leg and onto the dirt she was standing on. She watched as all of the survivors called for help. Her attention for some reason was directed towards Cain. His head was bleeding. Sara didn't mind seing blood on herself, but on others.

Sara's vision went blurry and everything started spinning. She felt an immense pain near her stomach. She looked down only to find that she had another injury. A piece of gl*censored* was stuck near her ribs. It didn't go anywhere near her heart, but it was enough to make her shirt red.

She heard a cry for help on the cliff and climbed up the sheer side easily. Her throat hurt badly making her voice go hoarse. About half way up the cliff, she looked at her wound once more.

Sara touched her wound and winced. She came back to earth due to more cries for help. She walked over to a girl who was still stuck in the plane. Cain was also trying to help her. "Don't worry, we'll get you out." A tear rolled down her face.

This place had so much pain. So much death. So much misery. She didn't even know where she was. Her eyes flicked towards Cain.

I debated on whether I should loosen my death grip on the branch and let the boy help me. I probably should, I thought with a sigh of resignation. Letting my right hand off the branch I slowly lifted my hand up within grabbing reach. ‘Grab hold!’ I hissed as loudly as my smoke-clogged throat could manage.

Sara.. clearly should not have been moving around all that much. After she approached Cain and Saryah and spoke, the boy replied to her, his tone mildly shocked.
"Whoa.. You should, um.. Stop moving around. You look like you're in pretty bad.." His voice sort of broke off when he saw the tears rolling down her cheeks. He'd have to deal with that in a second, though.

He grabbed Saryah's hand, a little weakly at first, but eventually got a good grip on her wrist.
"Alright, I've got you. Try to climb over here," he said, attempting to sound authoritative in some way. He really didn't take naturally to giving orders, or to being any sort of a leader at all, really. He was terrified and in pain, but the only way all of them were going to survive was apparently to help each other out or something. In the immediate present, that seemed like it might even work out. Long-term, however.. If the five of them were really the only ones who'd survived..
He didn't want to think about it.

(( Saryah and Sara xD. Greeaat. Lol, they're going to need nicknames. ))

[[Indeed. xD]]

Maggots in a stick? Whatever, stupid city girl. Without making a comment, Beatrix merely frowned, thin and grim. He could tell her that it was still going to swell after it was fixed, because of the torn ligaments. He could tell her that it is very likely that her knee would never be truly fixed again. But, what did he know. Her trite attitude obviously made logic and common sense null and void. If only everyone else had died. Well, maybe everyone except that blonde one. That might not have been so bad.

Frowning even more deeply, this time mostly at himself, Beatrix leaned forward. After a few inspecting prods at the wounded leg, he abruptly shoved the bone back into place. Just as quickly, he stood, swaying slightly on his feet. He felt like making a comment. But, maybe silence would be better. Trading quips with this stunted girl would only make his headache worse.

Instead, he opted to follow the other boy to help the hopefully, less irritating survivors. He almost wished Eugene and Danny were here. Shortly after thinking of that, he decided he would sooner throw himself off the cliff then be forced to live on an island with Daniel. But with the other two around they'd be much better off. At least Danny was better at playing doctor.

"Oh, dear." He managed to say, hoping the situation was under control. He'd offer to help, but sometimes two people trying to haul someone up a cliff was one too many. As soon as everyone was back on solid ground, Beatrix decided he was going to go look from some medical supplies... surely there would be some luggage containing some around here somewhere.
