Darious growled at Taij. If there was one thing he didn't take lightly, it was the fact that someone was as incompetent as to call him a bad hunter. He was one of the best hunters in this part of the world, only bested by the large felines and Humans.

Taij growled back. "Actually, as a matter of fact, I have. I know it displeases you deeply to be showed up by a bird such as myself. And I suggest you do not go down that road, because you do not know me, you do not know what I have been through, and you certainly do not know my life!" She got herself down so she could get in his face. She puffed out her chest as she did when she was displeased, getting close enough that she was only two inches away. "You better not question my abilities, or so help me I will not hesitate to shove you in this monstrous liquid until you too are paralyzed, so you will not have to watch me hesitate tearing you into pieces!" A tear squeezed out of her eye - only because she was threatening to kill someone she appreciated dearly. |

Her claim of also being able to take down a beast as mighty as a full-grown buck surprised Darious slightly. Well, perhaps impressed would be a better word than surprised. "Apparently I have misjudged you. Nether the less, you don't know my life either. I've got my secrets, however, as I'm sure you do as well. I suggest we keep it that way for now." Darious said quietly. It was alarming how much he cared for this strange, impatient creature. Not in a romantic way, he told himself.
"Monstrous liquid, you say? Dear god! I do hope you're not talking about this water." He said, suppressing a snicker. Water? Ha! How could a Falcon as proud as this one be afraid of something as simple as water?

Taij buried her head in her chest. Here we go again. She shook her head and muttered, "It seems as though everything I say comes out wrong..." She shook her head again. "I truly hope not all birds are as rude as you two. Very well then, I will leave you with your..." She couldn't say the word. The very mention of it's name frightened her. "Your..." She looked at the water, and even so she backed away from it. She sighed. "Nevermind. No use having a coward like me around to break your record, right?" She laughed blandly. "I sure hope you will soon know what you've done." Her voice wavered. She shook her head again, and raised up into the air, landing on a branch across the river. She tucked her head over her wing, wondering if she could ever forgive Darious.

Lexie rolled her eyes at darious and taij, then flew over to the other side of the lake. Taking in some of taij's advice on landing, Lexie didn't crash land, but it wasn't a proper land anyway. She was fed up with those two birds, and it was obvious they were going to fall in love. Lexie still stared at the fish in front of her. She wanted to find out how to hunt by herself, so she failed a LOT. Eventually she caught one by jumping on it until its rib cage was crushed. She ravenously devoured it quickly. A fish tasted delightful!

I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Shadow slowly flew down to the water,getting a bit hungry. She didn't bother to pay attention to the other birds. While she flew she folded her wings to her sides and dove into the water. Coming up with a good-sized fish in her beak she flew back to the same branch she was on earlier.
