(probably :3 but my chara doesn't shapeshift, he simply IS half-dragon, has a few scales and such. I'll leave out the horns since it wuld make him stand out waaaay too much for this kind of roleplay)

I'm interested, Winter! Hmm... half-made plot my brain coughed up: Peralio Boarding School seems like the average boarding school. Teens go there to learn, to live, to socialize. But, the kids there, they're 'special'. These teens have powers, and so do the teachers. They go there to learn battle, to learn strategy, instead of the average teenager. Add stuff here. XD |

((NOTE: The prologue is NOT required to be read. It's just something to help if you want a little more information on the plot.)) Prologue A small silhouette stood against the frosted winter breeze on the balcony of a grand building. Her hair hit her face softly, eyes puffy from hours of endless crying. The moon hung above her head illuminating the scene in a wash of bluish light. Another figure joined her, this one stronger and firmer. The man stood next to her, opening his mouth. “Are you coming in soon, Ming Yue? It’s almost midnight.” He placed his hand delicately on her shoulder, trying to ignore her crying face. More snivels came from her, making the man’s heart writhe. “I’ll be in soon enough…” Ming Yue’s voice trailed off for a moment, then facing the man. “And Tai Yang, you know I prefer being called as just Yue.” Her regular sarcasm and wit returned to her voice, hey eyes red and watery still though. Tai Yang smiled and kissed her forehead. All their lives, Tai Yang was like a brother to Yue. They were rarely seen apart, and Yue had introduced Tai Yang to his wife, Mei. Mei was also Yue’s friend, and the perfect match for Tai Yang. “Something’s wrong, Yue. I can tell.” He brushed her hair back, wondering sometimes if Mei was the right choice. Of course she is. Tai Yang scolded himself. Both of the two friends knew they were always destined to just stay friends. Yue would never see Tai Yang as a lover, and Tai Yang only felt infatuated with her every so often, where as with Mei he was always in love. “Why. Why do I have to be father’s only child?” She laid her head on the ivory banister and sighed, tears gently trickling down her face. The embroidered pale green silk of her robe shifted their weight with the wind. Yue’s full name was Ming Yue Heng, the daughter of the current emperor. She was the only kin to the throne and her father needed a man at her side, willing to give her into any marriage. Tai Lang sighed and turned his face towards the grand castle, sliding his hands on the creamy bars and tilting his head up at the moon. “You know Yue,” he started, “sometimes destiny is just as it is. We can’t do much to interfere. Maybe you should let things be for now.” Knowing it wasn’t what Yue wanted to hear made Tai Land want to say it even more. A look of utter shock and disbelief that Tai Lang would be as “unsupportive” as he just was slapped across Ming Yue’s face. “Well Yue, it’s the truth. Maybe it’s not what you’d like, but is your one life more important that finding a king for the entire nation of China?” His voice was strong and firm. “What people need isn’t always what they want.” Tai Lang sighed and released his grip from the balcony and walked inside, leaving his words echoing in the princess’s head. Ming Yue thought to herself now, alone in the pasty moonlight. A part of what Tai Lang had said lingered in her thoughts, almost ripping her to pieces with wonder of how that applied. What people need isn’t always what they want… She sighed loosening her shoulders and looking down at the garden below, bathed in blue light. Finally the cold drove Yue inside, but she couldn’t help thinking that Tai Lang was right. Plot The emperor’s daughter, Ming Yue is due to the throne, but without a husband. Her father is desperate to find his only heir a spouse, against Ming Yue’s preference. She wishes nothing more than to let her love find her at destiny’s pace, flirting followed by being called upon, and finally courting and marriage. Unfortunately, this is not her father’s will. He wishes only to find a noble man for his daughter before the moon returns to being full. (This happens to be in 28 days time.) In the midst of all of this, China is divided and unruly, battles forming everywhere and threatening to overthrow the emperor before his daughter gets one chance. ((Dar choo go.
