Dredge looked at the fish for a few seconds before walking up to Sonali and dropping the fish in her lap. "Thank you, but I do not as of yet require sustenance. I will take the first watch since you seem to already have made up our minds about that."

Kel'Duash moved quickly, but kept getting hit by branches and tripping on tree roots. "Perhaps you should take the lead, Draconians have notoriously good eyesight, but twilight has a bizarre affect on our eyes."

"Will do." Ebony said, darting ahead of him. After a few steps she shifted into her human form to keep him from losing track of her. I wouldn't want to be stepped on. She thought as she sprang lightly over a fallen branch.

Kel'Duash followed, his eyesight improving as the sun set more.

Ebony amused herself with a minute of walking and examination of their changing surroundings before growing bored. She was about to bombard Kel'duash with questions but sharply turned her head to the left an instant before they left her mouth. "I hear a creek! That's water, which probably has food. That's good enough for you, right?"

"No left." Rex said peering down at Ebony and Kel'Duash from his tree, "When you think it's right go left. But if you think the right way is left then you go right. It may always steer you wrong but you'll find at least one thing to be right."

Ebony narrowed her eyes but refused to look in the direction of the voice. I will not give them the satisfaction of surprise. "Don't tell me what to do!" She growled. "I have no patience for advice given in a form similar to a riddle. I will follow my own judgement, not that of a stranger!" She reached out psychically and located his mind, but other than that remained still, as she had no decent reason to attack.

"Then go right." Rex said, "Or backward or even forward. Up or down works too. But now you will listen no matter what you choose to do."

"ok, thank you" she smiled and put the uneaten part of the fish in her lap. She started glowing uneasily, something about this place was quite strange. She remembered what the man named dredge had said and stopped glowing, but didn't the man named dredge say he wanted to see what he was up against? Perhaps the predators, or mabye not. She curled up under the tent and looked at the sky, she loved start watching and she might do that if she stayed up long enough.

Kel'Duash, his eyesight now back to it's normal excellence, quickly spotted the tree Rex was in. He crouched into a combat position and drew his sword. "Identify yourself!" He growled.

Dredge stood a few feet away from the makeshift tent-construction. I will have to remember to turn that into a decent piece of construction, preferably with a shutting entrance and perhaps a mechanism to collapse it quickly-but that is not important now. First on my priorities is survival, which means that I will need to figure out precisely what I am going to be dealing with. Due to the rather pleasant nature of this forest I would say there is little to fear, but I do not trust nature and will not let my guard down because of appearances. If something does occur, such as a predatory attack, I may sacrifice the girl to it to see what it is capable of and how it hunts-no, I need her for now, I will simply have to get a thorough observation then scare it off.

Ebony growled at Rex. "Go on then, kill him!" She hissed, nudging Kel'Duash with her elbow.

"I identify as Rex." Rex said, "Although I'm sure you can find something else to call me. Also I wish not to be dead so please don't listen to the lady."

"I will not kill if I have no reason. Come down from the tree, Rex, so we can have a more respectable talk-or I will come up and get you." Kel'Duash said firmly.

Rex pondered over it for a second before gazing at Ebony, "I will come down on one condition." he said, "The lady must not attack."

"She will not." Kel'Duash said, not even considering what Ebony might have to say.

Ebony's nose wrinkled under her mask. I haven't agreed to this. No one can blame me if I attack.

"Okay then." Rex said before jumping down from the tree onto a clear piece of ground. Upon landing a sharp jolt of pain ran up his legs and he gasped.

Sonali looked at the man, she still didn't feel safe. Maybe she was afraid of him, she decided not to hurl a bolt of energy at everything she saw and freak out if she saw something. Some of it was sure to be harmless. She sighed and laid her hand on her sword, if something attack including the man named dredge, she would be ready. She didn't exactly trust him but it was more likely for a predator to attack if they were all singled out. She lifted the sword and listened carefully, she didn't hear anything as of now but anything could happen. There was no way she was going to fall asleep, not tonight.

Dredge noticed Sonali clutching her sword out of the corner of his eye, but didn't care. If she is planning to kill me, let her try, something as unsophisticated as a sword will not lay me low-although, she doesn't seem like she has the stomach to do it anyway.

(so where is everyone?)

Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

(Dredge and Sonali are in a clearing by the river; Lilly and Madison are in a crystal tent; Kel'Duash, Ebony and Rex are hanging out in the forest somewhere and nobody has found Giovanni yet. Your welcome)
