A man rounded the corner and his eyes imediatly darted to Eli. His eyes bulged and for a moment, Eli thought his wings were visable. He pulled down the edge of his shirt to hide the tips of his black wings.

The man simply stared at them. Willow went running by, then skid to a stop, pausing before walking back. She stood in the doorway and flung her hair over her shoulder. She smiled at the mayor. "Hallo there, Mayor. How're you today?" The avie said sweetly. Eli did his best to ignore Willow's fake accent but had to cough to mask a laugh.
