Sword Master shrugged and sat down in one of the seats beside Madison. "Thank you...Madison?" He said, trying to remember what she had said her name was on the lifeboat.

"Well, I didn't know this tree was occupied, I apologize for the intrusion." Dare Silver said, staying totally calm.

Ebony inspected the seat for half a second before talking it, deciding that it was no form of trap.

"There are so many ways to kill one of your kind" the being said. It's voice could only be described as a deep whispering growl, if such a thing existed. "And each way has variations. Suffocation is one I am most poised to perform. I could constrict your trachea, cutting off your air supply and asphyxiating you. I could hold your mouth and nostrils shut, achieving the same outcome. I could slit your throat, spilling your lifeblood and corrupting your breath. I could force my arm down your throat too, or fill you with viscerous liquid, drowning you on dry land. Or I could rip out your throat, even your lungs. Or pierce your lungs. I could kill you in other ways too. Removing other organs, maybe a liver or heart? I could break your spine in several locations or snap your neck, just below the cranium. I could eviscerate you, or puncture your stomach, poisoning and corroding you with hydrochloric acid. So many sweet spots i could stab, severing vital nerve bundles or arteries. I could crush your head, scoop your brains out of you nostrils. I could skin you or bleed you until you're nothing more than a dry husk. I could infect you with the Male strain of the Chaos virus, poisoning you instantly. I could even swallow you whole should I desire. And this is only the physical things I could do to you. I could blast you with chaotic energies, fry your skin or boil the blood in your veins. Electrocute you with eldritch lightning. I could possess your mind and drive you insane, maybe even cause your own suicide." the creature leaned closer, it's breath stank of rancid flesh and burning. "You know anyone could do at least some of these things. You know of your mortal fragility. And yet you sit here, completely calm. I care not if you are sincere or feigning, but I don't care to take your life either, just yet. I want to know why you were talking to Alvir" The creature tightened it's grip, ever so slightly, not letting blood be drawn.

Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

"My name's Cai-" Caitlyn began, but her mother cut over her and spoke harshly to Syra, "I'm not going to tell you my name, and neither is my daughter. Why do you care, anyway?"

"Ambrosia, I do beleive we've already met. On the Kinbeast's island, no? Or was that another mermaid. I'm pretty sure we tried to kill each other." Syra smiled.

The memory of Syra flooded back to Ambrosia upon hearing 'Kinbeast', and her lips curled into a half-snarl out of instinct. "I'm sure you can forgive me for not recognising you. It's been quite a long time, and I see that age hasn't been as kind to you." she said in an obviously-fake pleasant tone of voice. She smiled at her, subtly presenting her razor sharp teeth.

Syra showed no sign of the insult affecting her. She knew her new demonic state meant she looked a lot younger than she had done those couple years ago.
"He's here you know; Sahaestiel. Alvir told him and Ukamundo and I you'd be here, trying to stop Father. I came looking for you. Find the others in your group and tell them to come north up the road. There's a Villa on the hill where we're staying."
She smield at Kat before leaving "enjoy your bath"

((I'm fairly sure it was more than a couple of years ago since Ambrosia now has a nine year old daughter))

"Let's go find the baths," Ambrosia said, "I hardly fancy dirtying these new clothes before I even get to wear them properly."

Kat nodded as she walked out of the store, "Look for steam." she said.

"I was about to say, killing me when I didn't have any pants on, quite rude." Dare said, smiling calmly and swinging her legs. "Plus I know for a fact that a considerable amount of those won't work, but like you said you could kill me, but also like you said you won't, because you need the information I have. If you kill me you won't get that information, but if I tell you I will be of no use to you and you will kill me, which means your death threats actually convinced me not to tell you, excellent work. Now, guaranteed you could always go and try the same trick with one of the others, but I would guess you would get the same result with most of them, meaning you would never find out and it would be too late for you-oops, spoilers."

Ambrosia and Caitlyn walked beside Kat, keeping eyes peeled for steam coming from any buildings.

"Looks like it's a party now," Azon said, and got up from his table to join the others. Madison pulled out a chair for him and he sat down. "What should we get?" he asked.
"It all sounds yum. I can't make up me mind," Madison replied, scanning her eyes over the menu.

"I'm personally not worried, after who knows how long on that boat with only leather to chew I'd eat just about anything-just about." Sword Master laughed. He looked at Ebony. "You are going to eat too, and no that isn't a question."

"You don't have to eat 'human food', if you want you can go and catch something, but you have to eat, no arguing." Sword Master said firmly. "You could go and find Dare, I'm sure she wouldn't mind hunting with you, plus it will give her a chance to know you-if you think about it you are in a weird way a bit like her step-mother-type-figure...I think..."

Madison waved vociferously to a waitress who was about to walk past them to call her over. The waitress saw her and hurried over. "Are you ready to order?" she asked professionally.
"Yep!" Madi replied, grinning widely at her, "Can we ge' some water for all of us, an' can I 'ave the roast beef please?"
"Of course," the waitress replied, jotting down the order in shorthand, "And for the rest of you?"
