Leanna slowly looked around, her vision coming a little more into focus. She saw two trainers by her.

Who are you? Was that your Steelix?

She tried to sit up and fell back. A couple of her pokemon popped out of their balls and walked up next to her. They seemed very frightened, like something bad would happen. She smiled, trying her hardest to reassure them and not burst into tears. She knew that bleeding too much made her very open to all sorts of diseases. Her immune system was absolutely terrible, and any small cut could get a germ in it and threaten to kill her. A common cold had put her in the hospital for three weeks. She couldn't imagine what this would do to her. She fought all of her feelings and grasped for all of her pokemon, pulling them all into a large, warm embrace.

I'll be okay guys, I'm sure my condition doesn't happen all the time. Don't worry about me.
