"Right" she said as she padded more into the tree. "Prey has been caught for those of you who wish to eat." she anounced to the clan. "You can have some too if you want" she told Mapel as she took a peice of one of the rabbits before padding to her spot inside the tree. She layed down in her nest and began to eat the meat of the prey putting aside the fur so it could be used for the insulating.

Kasey walked into the tree taking the rest of the rabbit that Renn had taken a peice of. He retreated to the far corner of the tree where he slept and eat the rabit tearing at the flesh and putting aside the fur for later use. He watched the other cats but mostly Mapel. He didn't trust him but he also remembered what Renn had said. She spoke the truth; he never gave anyone a chance. He shook his head to get rid of the thought and went back to eating the food.
