"Ouch!" she yelped as she flicked her burnt hand from staring too long at the camp is disarray. Was there a counter attack? Celaeno strode while crouching off to the side of the path towards the camp. Then she saw the collection of troops heading out. Cautiously, she set her guitar against an old dead tree out of site and with haste made her way closer behind a fixture of rocks. As she examined the unknown collection of people, she noticed they weren't exactly New Race.

They started to jog away, and she stood and watched them go. Celaeno stomped her cigarette into the dirt and retrieved her guitar. She hoped to find no survivors, or at least ones that were mortally wounded. With her intentions of playing for money out of the window, she hoped to possibly be able to loot the dead. Unsure of what to expect next, she followed the path to pose as an innocent bystander or sorts.

Sumnor got back to camp, going into his office and sitting in his chair, looking around for something to use.... something he could keep baby Lamina in, he smiled and nodded as Dryac walked in, "We need.... like a moses basket, for the baby." Dryac's eyes widened, "Wait, baby, but, how long was I gone?" "No longer than was expected, I found her abandoned in the biotic camp, had to put my boot through someone's head to get out with our lives..." "Nice, wall kick?" Sumnor nodded and grinned, "Wall kick."

Lilith had so many things to say, yet at the same time, hardly anything at all. She looked into Xaphan's deep eyes, before her own started to water. "Just promise me this." she said, clasping his hands in her own. The gem situated in her gold head band started glistening a subtle blue. "I'f we're ever in a situation of danger, surrounded, or what ever it may be. If I ask you to leave be behind, please, for heaven sake do so." A  tear rolled down her cheek. "I can't imagine if you got consumed in my energy flow..." she trailed off, unable to continue.

~~~~~
Lamina laughed at the surprised Dryac before coming up for an idea for a crib. She headed over to the work shop, letting herself in, seeing that the carpenter and black-smith had fallen asleep from drinking. She smiled at the sight of a new door before picking up one of the many crates piled up ontop of each other. Gripping the crate, taking the crate, with a couple of loggs, several screws, and a screwdriver under her left arm, and balancing the door over her right shoulder, she made her way back to Sumnor.
Being primarily new-race, Lamina had more of a physical element to her, making her set task easy, although, because it was now dark outside, it did make the balancing slightly harder.she settled the door against the wall, ready to re-attach onto what was left of the hinges. "Here, you can use this." She said, placing the crate onto a chair.
Xaphan blinked deliberately, taking his time to open his eyes one again, the liquid silver colour of his them standing out against the dark, he leant forward slightly and kissed Lilith gently, before staring back into her eyes, "I die with you..... I can use biotic attacks  like nobody else in this camp, well, apart from maybe you now that you're here." He thought for a few moments, "But I can teach you to focus energy blasts, so you can pick and choose who get's hit... or doesn't get hit."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sumnor smiled gratefully at Lamina, placing the baby Lamina in the make-shift crib, sitting back in his chair and m*censored*aging his eyelids with the index finger and middle finger of each hand, "This is bad..." He punched the table, causeing a slight wave of biotic energy to pulsate from underneath his clenched fist, "No, actually.... this is impossible.... he can't be here..."

Lilith wiped away the tears that had formed. "Yes, I would appreciate that greatly." She said, before leaning in and hugging him. Lilith was happy to be with someone who accepted her, just as much as she accepted him. With the Biotic camp, she was looked down on. Not being able to control her powers in battle was seen as weak, even though if she let loose she could probably wipe out those who criticized her. Lilith didn't like to think of the possibilities of her killing others accidentally, so she never removed the containment mechanism situated on her fore head unless she was on a battle field and ordered too. Now however, she was not under that pressure, all those in the Splinter were different in their own way. Despite only being their for little under an hour, She already felt at home.

~~~~~
Lamina walked over to the make shift crib with a few extra rags and cloths. She tucked them around and underneath the baby, resting its delicate head in the palm of her hand as she did so. It did not take long, so soon she settled baby Lamina's head back onto now what was a softer bedding. Lamina turned to see the distressed Sumnor, but knew it was best not to interrupt him so she went ahead with returning the door to its rightful place in the door frame.
She soon headed back to her own tent, seeing what seemed to be a blurred outline of a figure shaded by some trees beyond the northern gateway. She sensed somewhat of a faint resemblance, but was not entirely sure to whom due to her limited Biotic use so she ignored it.
Abadon walked throguh the gate, ignoring the guards who told him to show identification, not bothered about the consequences, just wanting to see his son. He waslked in and opened the door of the office, which, by the look of it, was new. "Son, Dady's home."
Sumnor stared blankly at the figure of his father stood in his doorway, moving his body in front of the crib to guard the baby, "No, you died.... you and Mum.... you both died... there's now way you can be here." "And yet I am, my son, people pulled me from the rubble as soon as that building was taken down, used implants to restore the damaged and destroyed muscle, I am mroe of a man now than I ever was."
Sumnor intertwined his finger behind his back, beginning to fill his kuckles and hand bones with biotic energy, getting ready to pummell if push came to shove. "How do I know you're really my father and not an imposter come to dismantle my contingency?" "When you were nine, we went b*censored* fishing and you said that it was the most fun you've ever had, because you got to use your biotic powers to help pull the fish out of the water, you were an extremely early bloomer."
Sumnor's eyes widened, nobody else apart from him and his father knew about that day, he let the biotic energy dispers before hugging his father tightly, "Dad..."  Abadon hugged him back, smiling at being reunited with his son at long last, "It's okay Sum, there's no more being alone." Sumnor placed his hands on his fathers shoulders and pushed, so he could look him levelly in the eye, he pulled him over to the crib, "I found her.... took her in, she is now going to be my own, I named her Lamina after my best friend and general."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dryac went to his tent, curling up on his bunk and drifting off to sleep, to nightmares of his past, to memories best forgotten.

Xaphan hugged Lilith in return, also returning the tear that ahd rolled down her cheek, smiing at the same time, happy that he was able to embrace the only one he had felt this way towards, "Here's to the best future I've ever had a hope of achieving... and to you being the majority part in it."

(Adding another character?)

Name: Tempest Ventus
Age: 19
Human group: Biotic/ Splinter recruit
Appearnace(Image or detailed deion.):

Personality: Tempest, despite her young innocent appearance, is actually quite cocky. She doesn't like being looked down on, however that is almost impossible to avoid as she only stands at 4'10. As her name describes, she is quite violent, as well as feeding her Biotic energy into water and using that as a weapon to her pleasure.
History(If relevant to the RP.): Tempest, as many other elf's who carried the Biotic gene, developed at a very early age. Despite her wild personality, her home town was set well away from the violence of the war, situated on the other side of the mountain range, so growing up, she lead a pleasant life, or at least what should have been. She found the peace tedious, so often went off into the woods, developing her skills and own technique, the water manipulation. At 16, she left, trying to find some entertainment.

~~~~
Tempest was sitting up on a cliff. She had been watching the genocide taking place within some form of camp. She sighed before rolling her eyes. "Weak Biotics, how dare they insult our race by loosing."
As far as the war went, Tempest had no political view. she was neither with the Biotics, or against them, however she did find it infuriating when they fought against the new race. She saw it as a pointless act. They where, physically stronger, which is what she liked about them, but didn't like it when either side fought. She, personally, would rather fight them both. it was an unruly act, and it made limited sense when she explained it to anyone, but then again, Tempest wasn't one to think things though, she just followed where the wind blew.
Finally Celaeno arrived to an entrance of the camp. Bodies were laid about as their loved ones mourned next to them. Soon after she came into the inner part of the camp, Celaeno suddenly stops at the sound of a little girl's cries and screams. Looking over, she saw the little thing covered in cuts and bruises and dirt hovering over her breathless mother. Celaeno's heart sank at the site as her mind flashed back to her own story of abandonment. Without thought of her own safety, she rushed over to the child and stood before her.
The little girl sobbed through her tears, "Why? Why isn't Mommy waking up?! She said she wasn't going anywhere." A spark of energy dissipated from the mother and the girl. Her mother must have used her biotics to protect her daughter with her last breaths. Celaeno looked down and noticed the scattered severed limbs of the girl's mother. There was no way she would have survived.
Sumnor and Abadon were walking through the camp, Sumnor giving him a guided tours, the guards that had shouted for Abadon to  get out regretting their words to themselves. The two were walking, side by side, father and son, to Lamina's tent, to see if she was still awake, which Sumnor doubted greatly but if not they would go out and look around for others they may know, just wanted to spend time together to try and make up for lost time.
"You know father, many people would not have forgiven you for being gone for so long, a lot would have just told you to go away and carried on their lives as normal." "And for the forgiveness you have shown me and the warmth I know feel, I am grateful, my son."  Sumnor clapped his father on the back as they reached their destination, poking his head in through the flaps of Lamina's tent, he chirped quietly, "Hello?"
Lamina Removed her shoes, and placed any of her existing accessories on the table beside her bed. She had just removed her hair from her hair tie before hearing a familiar voice. "Oh, hello there Sumnor." She said smiling. "Who was the man who came to see you?" she questioned, sensing the presence she had sensed earlier. She sat down on her bed and began removing her stockings, placing them next to her boots.
~~~~~

Tempest hopped from tree to tree until she came closer to the Camp. She could see over several of the tents, revealing a m*censored* of bodies scattered like leaves. Looking closer, she could see no correlation between those that had been killed, and that there many more still alive. Tempest Pondered a few strategies before coming to the conclusion that it must have been the Contingent. the organisation of people taking no sides.

((You gotta reply to Xaphan so I can put him to bed, and then you can do the same with lilith. ^_^))

Sumnor beckoned in his father with a slight mvoement of his head, "Lamina, this is my father, Abadon, turns out he's alive after all.... someone pulled him form the rubble.... implants were used, so on and so forth, and now he's here."  Sumnor was never one for long stories, he could take key points from any story and tellit in a few seconds, a useful talent.

Abadon walked in as his son beckoned, his hands burried in the folds of his tattered robes, his arms covered by the torn sleeves, the robes  protecting from the harsh wind that was prevailing tonight, "Pleased to meet you, my son talks fondly of you, he seems to like you, so you must be a friend, therefore I am yours also." He nodded slightly, before offering his hand, un-used to greeting new people nowadays.

Lilith sat silently beside Xaphan for a few minuets before sitting up straight, her hands in lap. She yawned then looked to Xaphan. "I think i'd beter go find somewhere to sleep." She said softly. She Liked Xaphan dearly, but considering it was her first night of many things, she thought it best not to sleep with Xaphan. She got up, kissing Xaphan on the cheek before exiting the tent in a formal manner.

~~~~~
Lamina stood up pushing a strand of hair from her face before returning the favour. "Pleased to meet you as well sir." she replied politely, taking his hand in her own shaking it. "However intrigued i may be to listen to any further things you two fine gentleman might have to say, i would appreciate it if you kept that until morning, because as you may or may not know, i was getting ready to sleep." She said facetiously with a smile on her face.
Xaphan jumped up, following lilith, "Take my bed, I'm used to sleeping in the wild, you get comfy, you've been through a lot." Xaphan opened up the flap to his tent, gesturing a 'ladies-first' to Lilith, wanting her to sleep as well as possible, happy that she had the old-fashioned qualities his parents had conditioned into him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Abadon chuckled slightly, patting lamina on the shoulder, "Don't worry, we were only planning on having me meet you, I'm too tired to tell anything else myself, you have a good night."  He turned, walking out of the tent curtly and waiting for Sumnor. Sumnor turned, nodding to Lamina with a smile, for the first time in his life, he was short for words, "Goodnight." He then walked out, leading his father back to the main tent, which had a few beds in just for visitors and others he knew.

((went to Silverstone ^_^, just got back..))

Tempest had camped outside of the splinter boundaries that night. She was fully aware of the questioning that would occur on entering the camp. She was an elf, and considering what she witnessed the night earlier, it wouldn't go so well for her.

Tempest strode towards the front gate of the camp before being halted by one of the gaurds. "where do you think your going missy?" the young man questioned with a superior manner. "Don't patronize me." she snapped, before continuing smugly. "I've come to enrol with the contingent."

The conversation continued rather roughly before it ended with that one guard winded, soaked with trough water, and Tempest being restrained by two of his fellow guards. "Don't call me small!" She yelled. "I'm nineteen!"

 ~~~~
 Lamina woke up bright and early, even though she had only had about 5 hours sleep. She equipped herself with everything she felt was necessary for the day ahead of her and fastened the ties on her tent flap after exiting.
Lamina strode through the camp heading towards the workshop. This was partially due to a good relationship with the two middle aged men, but also, because her own office was situated next to it.
In her make shift office, Lamina was looking through some of Sumnor's paper work. She new it wasn't her job but she didn't mind. Also, in her own opinion, Sumnor wasn't suited for paper work, and was sure he would agree.
Sumnor had heard the comotion, his highly develed ears picking up on every word, he marched out to the front gate after getting dressed, his hands shoved deep in the pockets of his trenchcoat. "You! Girl! I doubt that you don't recognise me, but I suppose introductions are in order, I am Sumnor Pegagnyx, leader of the contingent here, now, either you kneel to show you are no threat, or I have to knock you out, restrain you, and then interrogate you, which is your desired path?"
Abadon strode up behind him, his hands in a similar position, buried in the folds of his robes, his long, white hair billowing in the early morning breeze. He stood behind his son, proud of his words, his body-language communicationg how serious he was, it took all Abadon had to avoid patting his boy on the back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dryac stood, before deciding to visit Lamina, walking to her office, leaning on the wal next to the door, never liking sitting to speak, standing always gave better opportunities if the other was an enemy, "Lamina, I was just wondering... have you ever had a relationship? I mean, I'm not asking, I'm not interested in any kind of companionship right now, I jus like learning about other's past." It was true, Dryac like learning histories of those he worked along side, he did it to everyone, he knew Sumnor's past inside and out.

Tempest lost her scowling facial features when looking up at Sumnor, and listening to his words. This was Sumnor, one of, if not the strongest non-elfen Bionic this side of the planet. She did not know whether or not to despise him due to his abilities, or to admire him for his willpower.

She turned her head scowling at the guard who had loosed his grip on her before shrugging her shoulder away from him and getting onto her knee's. "I feel there to be no need for interrogation, sir." she replied clearly, adding 'sir on the end with some spite within the, 'sir' as she had never felt the need to.

~~~~~
Lamina looked up when she saw a somewhat familiar enter her office. She smiled contently with some interest to the question. "No, not really." she replied. "There was a boy you could say i had a relationship with when i was 5 or so, but at that age, it's nor really real affection is it?" she smiled again before looking down to Sumnor's paperwork underlining where the signature should be placed, and filling in other information whilst still listening for anything further Dryac had to say.
~~~~~

Lilith awoke in Xaphan's tent first wondering if it was all a dream, then realising that it wasn't. She was pleased it wasn't. Lilith headed out of the tent and looked around the site. she had found herself in the food hall. She was surprised at the variation in age and gender there was despite their being far fewer members of the splinter than there was of the bionic camps.

Sumnor walked over to Tempest and helped her up, "Come on, we can talk in my office... it's just over here and it's more comfortable than kneeling on the ground." Sumnor smiled, showing his warmer, more friendly side, before guiding her to his office and sitting in his plush, gothic type armchair, beckoning for Tempest to sit across the desk from him, So, pleasantries first, you know my name, very pleased to meet you, could I have your name? And... wait, I know this one.... what did you say is your business here?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Xaphan saw Lilith pa.ss underneath him, walking into the food hall, Xaphan lay in a tree, where he had slept the night before, not having been long awake, he decided to let Lilith look around, deciding not to smother her. He lay his head back, staring into the clear blue sky, only the odd clouds dotted out trhoguhout, plain, clean white, no sign of a storm on the horizon, a happy day if ever there is one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dryac let himself drop onto the floor, his back still leat on the wall behind him, "You should get yourself one.... not with me obviously, I'm not much of a people person.... just someone you like I guess, even if it's only to keep you happy, it seems to have uplifted Xaphan when I spoke to him last night, p*censored*ed me as I was on my way to my tent." Dryac played with the strap on the cuff of his long, black leather Trenchcoat.
