Calyx mewed and groomed herself. she whiped away her tears. " pests...! " she murmered to herself. she noticed the other cats and her back hair stood on end. she scooted to Breeze and hid her face behind her scared.

Relic gave a slight glare of annoyance toward Breeze, then just shrugged it off understanding her hostility. "Just a fellow loner who decided to lend a helping paw." He meowed calmly, then sat down to lick the blood off his paws. He sighed and wrinkled his nose at the stench of blood and the metallic taste of the two- legs blood. He glanced up once or twice to where Falcon was talking with another loner, hoping that she was alright. His muscles were still bunched so if she needed him he could claw his way up their pretty quickly.

Breeze's muscles relaxed. "Oh, sorry, it's just that Calyx here is having a hard time. A mouse-brained two-leg kit grabbed her and she defended herself. Now she has no home. By the way, I'm Breeze." she meowed cautiously. "Thanks for helping."

Relic nodded politely towards her, then Caylx. "Im sorry to hear that Calyx, two-legs just tend to be mouse-brained." He meowed calmly, thinking of his own two-leg encounters. "As for a home, there are really only two options, find another two-leg or become a loner." He shrugged. "If your thinking of the second option, i'd stick around some other loner until you know the ropes. Breeze here seems kind enough. "He smiled crookedly at the two she-cat before getting to his paws, and waited for Falcon to come down. He sighed as he noticed she seemed to be having a conversation with the other tom loner.

"I also have Housefolk. I'm not a loner." she replied calmly. But I won't be welcome. I'm sure they saw this. Last time I fought, I was thrown out for a moon!" she turned her head to the side, embaressed. "I guess I'm a loner like you now." she meowed sadly.

Relic twitched his whiskers in surprise, figuring she was a loner with her fighting ability. "Er, well do you know how to survive decently?" He asked, feeling a little guilty at just leaving two kittypets who were now homeless alone with they could not take care of themselves. How do I get myself in these situations? He thought

Breeze purred, "I can fight some but I can't hunt. My housefolk stopped me after I left a mouse for them. Ungrateful mouse-brains." she meowed. She looked at Relic. "Can you hunt? I'd love to learn!" she mewed shyly.

Relic mentally groaned, unsure how to support both her, the other she-cat and himself. "Yeah, I can teach you how to hunt and survive out here. But you must be patient and ready for danger." Which is what he lived for. Suddenly he remembered something. "Oh, and my name is Relic." He nodded and was about to get to his paws.

Breeze nodded thoughtfully. "Of course! It would bve mouse-brained to enter the forest unprepared." she meowed dryly. She licked her chest fur to flatten it and nudged Relic. "well then, let's go!" she mewed.

Relic nodded, mentally sighing. He nodded to Calyx in good bye then looked up at Falcon. He hoped she knew where she was. Padding off through the alleyways, he skirted a tied dog who instantly started snapping and snarling at them. Flicking his tail in annoyance at the creature, he grinned as the forest came into sight. Slinking through the tree's he instantly felt better, almost like the trees whispered to him. "Lets start tomorrow." He meowed, glancing at the darkening sky. "I'll hunt for us now. "He meowed, already starting to hunt. He swiftly caught two mice and dropped one at her paws, then padded into a small hollow created by a tree and lay down to eat.

Breeze gratefully gulped up the mouse and settled down into the inky darkness known as sleep. Ringstar nodded thoughtfully, her brown ringed tail waving. "We must rebuild the clans. They have been forgotten for to long." he meowed. "But what if these cat's aren't right, what if they destroy the clans again!" argued Moonsr, her silver pelt glittering with stars. "They are the right cats, they will remake the clans no matter what." hissed Wolfstar, his brown fur bristling. Moonstar bowed her head. "Of course, I was only thinking of the last time we chose." Their minds flashed through scenes of battle and blood. "Don't remind us." mewed Ringstar. "Those were bad times." Wolfstar lifted his head and opened his mouth. "Then it is decided. These cats will lead the clans to greatness once more." he yowled to the star-filled sky. Breeze gasped and lifted her head. What have I seen? she thought. Her fur was slick with sweat. Nudging Relic, she caught a small caffinch that had wandered near her. "Look! My first catch!" she meowed, not mentioning her dream.

Relic woke up with a small grumble, but seeing her catch he purred slightly. "Great job! Those birds are a pain to catch so your on your way to becoming a great hunter." He praised, and stretched. Sensing her unease and seeing the sweat slick fur, he gazed at her worriedly. "Is something wrong?" He asked uneasily.

"well..." she began, "I had a dream. It was about some cats called like Ringstar and Wolfstar or something. They said they had chosen some cats to rebuild the clans. And they had stars glittering in their fur!" she meowed in a rush.

Relic blinked a few times, trying to place the pieces together. He never got it. "Stars in their fur? Maybe the two-leg hit your head or something a little to hard." He suggested, never hearing of such a thing. "Its still late, lets get a bit more sleep before your hunting lessons being."

Cinder walked in and sat up on the fence by Calyx enyoying her sadness and pain. he laughed to himself and continued to watch. Calyx longed for Ashley and her bed expensive food and other kitty-pet things. he thought it was quite funny.
