Lucifer opened his eyes and looked down at Katana, now appearing as a white wolf at his feet. he leant over and stroked her mane that ran along her scruff. he shimmied off the stump and sat in front of it. he looked at katana again and smiled. Lucifer folded his arms, then gently closed his eyes. he didn't need to fall asleep, but he chose to drift off into a half and half state, that way he could have the peace of sleeping, and still be ready for a surprise attack. after all, this was where previous wanderers had been killed.
