There is a battle going on between the Light Side and the Dim Side. They are called this because one side lives on the sunny side of their world and the other lives on the shade part of their world. Their world is not like earth, for the sun only reaches half of the planet. Some people are good that are born on the Dim Side and some people are bad that are born on the Light Side, but everyone on the Light Side think the Dim Side is evil and everyone on the Light Side is good. This causes a war to break out. Some people from each side try to excape to the other but only a few make it to their destination alive. Some people born on the sunny side have the power to control light, water, or air. While on the other side, the Dim Side, some can control, darkness, earth, or fire. Most people don't have a power and when they do they only control one. Some people have the gift of bearing two or three powers but they always have only the two or three powers that are on their side. That will all change when he is born (my charrie). He has four powers and two are from the Light Side and two are from the Dim Side. He was born on the Light Side and they are starting to think he is not like the other Light Side kids. Will he and the other people who can control more than one power bring peace to the two sides or destruction?

Personality- He's definately not the most outgoing person you've ever met and he seems to have a glare permanently etched onto his face but he's a surprisingly gentle person. Beneath the gruffness and cold attitude, you can often see his soft side shine through. He refuses to abadon those in need, sometimes even comming off as overprotective. Despite being on the Dim side, he is not evil, more neutral than anything else.

Personality- She has an outwardly calm composure and tends to keep herself out of affair that have nothign to do with her, but when she sees somethign she doesn't like, she makes her point clear. With her higher sense of justice, she lets loose an energetic, fiery and intimidating disposition. She has little patience for those she believes are wasting her time and will not hesitate to make that clear.

Personality- SHe is always happy, and it is somewhat hard to make her emotion change. The only thing that will make her mad, is to make her watch a death, or kill someone very close to her. It will start out as saddness, then turn into ncontrolable rage, which also causes her to lose control of herself, and her power.

Personality- Attea and Annia are two total opposites. Attea is mean and cold blooded. She is no problem with blood or killing. While Annia couldn`t hurt a fly.

Other- They are twins, but their fathe was from the Light side, and mother from the Dim side. Shortly after their birth, their parents separted and took one with them. The two have met before and are totally aware of their relation. Neither have any pets.

Aaron looks around his home for the past twelve years. He knew he was different than the others because of the way he was treated by everyone. He sighed and sat under a big oak tree next to Syuin, his pet wolf. Nobody on the Light Side had a wild animal for a pet because no one had the power of earth. Therefore most animals went to the Dim Side. He stroked Syuin's glistening fur and thought about the good old days when his family and friends didn't know he was different.

He would play under his favorite tree, the oak tree he was sitting under now, with his friends. They didn't know what there powers would be then, no one did. He would pretend he was the bravest soldier in all the Light Side, fighting amongst his friends. He thought war was all one game, he didn't know how serious war was. That once you die you never come back. He misses those days when he was so clueless.

Name: Alibaster
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Powers: Earth (mostly plants)
Personality: Ali isn't much of a socialite. She hates people with strong opinions, especially when those opinions involve her. She can be coldly logical at times, but usually stops short of real cruelty. She enjoys collecting things and finding new clothes among the city ruins. She never stays in one place for long.

Side of the battle you are on: Neutral. She just wants to be left alone.
Other: Travels with an old dog named Max. He looks a bit like a shepherd mix, but his breed is still up for debate.

Hope and Lilly swam throught the lake underwater, collecting shells and pretty rocks, then putting them in a bag Hope had around her neck. She laughed as she and Lilly swam to the surface for some air. She smiled and layed back, floating silently on the water. She looked around and smiled when she saw nobody was around. She swam to the s*censored* and stared at the water endlessly, then a small bubble with a fish stuck inside lifted from the water and floated towards her.
She smiled and giggled, "Lilly loke! I did it!" She said happily as the bubble landed softly in her hand. She sat on the ground and watched the small fish swim around through in the bowl-like bubble. Suddenly Lilly reached into it and pulled out the fish then scampered off.
Hope sat there shocked, then jumped up, "Lilly, put the fish back!" She called saddly as she ran after her otter.

Annia stood in the sunlight calmly. Her hair blew softly in the wind as she focused. She opened her eyes and lifted her hand out in front of her. She focused at the center of her palm, and waited. A small ball of light started forming in her hand.
She smiled softly and brought the light closer to her. She put her other hand over the light and started molding it into different shapes. She laughed quietly to herself as she started walking back to her house, watching the light change shapes, from animals to people, from fire to plants.

Neptune stood in his house alone. He looked around at all his stuff, then walked into his bedroom and looked at his unmade bed. He threw his palm towards the bed, causing a small tornado like shape of wind to hit the bed, and blow the sheets into place.
He smirked then turned and walked out of his room, and towards the door. He stopped and thought. He felt as though he had forgotten something. He then just stood there thinking. Tryiny to figure out what it was.

Attea walked around bouncing a large flame with her hands, much like a child would a bouncy ball. She sighed and crushed the flame with her palms, causing it to go out. She took a deep breath and readied herself as she felt the shadows around her grow heavier.
She smirked and looked around. She suddenly brought the flame back and spun around in a circle, spreading the fire out in all directions.

Kayin just barely douged the flames and smirked as well.

"You thought you could get me with that silly old trick?" Attea asked, once again starting to play with the flame.

Kayin just gave a chuckle, then slinked back into the shadows and was gone.

Chi sat in a small dome of earth he had made over himself. He hated being interupted, and this was the only way he could make sure he wasn`t. If anyone other than he tryed to move the rock apart, fire would surround it and engulf the person who tryed to interupt him.
He sighed as he lay down onto his back and stared into the darkness silently. He didn`t know why he did this, it was just a random habit.

The breeze swayed through the lush branches of the trees, rich in air energy. Lyra could feel the currents flowing around her, sending her nerves tingling as her body sensed it all around her. She closed her eyes and lifted her face to the sky, savoring the feelin gof the sun's rays beating down on her. When she opened them again, her gaze fell upon the bordlands, the area between the Dim and Light side. From where she was standing on the second floor balcony of her home, Lyra thought it looked like a bruise, an ugly blemish marring the horizon. Ruka, her pet faerie dragon, seconded that thought through thier mental link as he swooped onto her shoulder, following her gaze. Over the years, Ruka and Lyra had become so closely bonded that they could communicate thier thoughts to each other, serving only to strengthen that already powerful connection. With a sigh, Lyra said to him, We have things we need to buy before the day gets too late. I don't care how much you hat ethe marketplace, I'm going. Ruka hissed in displeasure and took off from his perch, gliding back into the house to pounce on his pillow, curling up around himself and glaring at Lyra as she gathered her things to go to market.

Snarling, Raze beat down the latest challenger. Blood stained his fist where it had broken the man's nose; he was now crawling over the floor away from him. Raze spat on the ground, growling, "If you don't want to be pummeled, don't challenge me." He wiped blood from his face as he went to retrieve his shirt from the edge of the circle of onlookers that had gathered. His customary glare was all it took to send them scurrying. sighing and rolling his shoulders to ease the tension building between them, Raze slipped into his shirt. A few people eyed him, but he paid them no heed. Three fist fights in one day were enough for him.

Katlyn has been looking for Aaron for hours. Her feet were getting tired and he isn't in any of his usual spots. There is still one spot left that she hasn't checked, under his oak tree. She walks over to the tree and finds Aaron petting Syuin but he seemed in deep thought. She thought she would come another time when he didn't have so much on his mind but it was too late, Aaron saw her.

"What do you want squirt?" he asked jokingly. He gets up and noticed her hesitating. "what's the matter?"

"Well I don't want to bother you, it's really not that important and it looks like you have better things to do." she said and continued when he didn't say anything,"It's Mrs.Tuiss, she said that she would quit training me with water if I didn't learn how to make a wave by midnight.

"It's only noon, you can learn how to make a wave by then. I'll teach you." He grabbs her hand and walks her overto a stream. "The trick is to really consintrait on what you are doing, squat down and then slowly raise, bringing your arms up with you." 

They worked on this trick for hours and Katlyn slowly started to progress. Soon she could make a huge wave easily. 

"There, you are a pro now Katie." Aaron said, a proud smile tugging on his lips

"Oh, thank you so much Aaron! Mrs. Tuiss will be so proud!" Katlyn said as she hurried off to find her teacher.
