Zaccarius lifted his head towards the smell of fresh air. He held his egg closer and stood up, feeling his way owards the mouth of the cave, careful not to step on any of the othe eggs. He emerged from the cave and looked around...well...not really looked, since he was wearing a blindfold and actually /was/ blind...but I digress.

Muse looked around frowning. He was lost. Again. He'd been to this forest many times and had slowly been becoming better at navigating through it. The last time he hadn't gotten lost once, but today it seemed like the whole forest had shifted. He began walking again, going downhill and staring up at the trees above. He wasn't watching where he was going and his foot hit something. He fell forward, the slant of the hill causing him to roll. He closed his eyes and tried to curl up into a ball when he landed face down on hard stone. Feeling dizzy and bruised, he opened his eyes only to come face-to-err...shell with what looked like an egg with stones surrounding it. They looked almost like little meteors orbiting a planet. Only this close up the 'meteors' looked like some sort of bodies. He jerked back, sitting up and looking around. He'd rolled into a cave apparently, with other people in it, most of them clutching odd looking eggs as well. He gave the egg a fearful look before hesitantly picking it up and cradling it in his lap. Thankfully, the stones moved to make way for his hands and legs. Even when he tried to touch them, they moved away from his fingers. "What exactly are you?" he asked the egg with a frown. It didn't even look to be of this planet. |

"oh sure let me find the OFF SWITCH!!!!" She sighs and throws a pice of meat into the corner of the room and her halk dived in and started gulping down chunks "that will shut her up for a minute" she starrs at her egg it feels like its almost alive...

Katherine stalked by the cave, hearing noises inside and not wanting to startle -or be startled- by the inhabitants. At least they're humans...or talk at least, she thought, shiving her hands into her pockets. Suddenly, on a snap decision, she walked inside and nearly tripped over a hidden nest, staggering slightyl before righting herself. "What the..." she muttered, clearing the leaves and branches off of the small hollow in the ground and placing them to the side. Suddenly, a drop of water fell from the staglamite above the nest, and when it neared it it seemed to freeze, making a plinking noise as it tumbled on the rocks. "An egg?" She reached out one hand cautiously and touched the ice colored egg, feeling the smoothness of the shell.

Aaron was out in his daily walk in the forest when he heard people talking in the distance. It was a strange sound, like echoing. But Aaron walks this forest every day, there can't possibly be a cave. He follows the sounds and there is a huge cave with eggs and people in it. At first he ignores the people and walks over to a light blue egg with white spots on it that look like clouds. He picks it up, seeming connected to it like he shared a bond.

Syra looked up suddenly there was about 6 people now "Uh hi people my name is Syra.... wow all the eggs are different i didnt notice that...." light almost looked to ccoming from the egg her halk came over and pecked it "STOP THAT!" i cheaked the egg for a mark but there was none she knocked it with her hand... hard as a rock

Zaccarius nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard something tumbling towards the cave. He went to jump out of the way, letting out a yelp as he ran right into the cave wall and fell forward, turning so that he wouldn't land on his egg. With an injured, sounding groan he curled up, not ealizing that this tumble had madehis blindfold go flying off, so when he opened his blind eyes, it was still dark to him, but others would be able to see. "Ouch..." he muttered before stroking his egg after he sat up. "...HOw many people are here...?" he asked out of the blue, turning his head around the cave. The way it echoed it sounded like multiple people and it was confusing his senses. |

Katherine touched the egg again and noticed that though it only felt cool to her, it freezed any moisture that came near it, making the air surrounding the egg misty. She smiled and picked it up, turning it around carefully to check it out. On the bottom a small cluster of ice crystals made small dents in her hand, feeling bumpy and rough compared to the silkiness of the shell. It was also almost transparent, a small gray shadow on the inside twitching every now and then. "Oh..hey," she murmured distractedly, too entranced by her egg.

Muse stared the boy who had crashed into the wall beside him. He shifted his egg so he could crawl over to him. "Are you ok?" he asked quietly, wondering if he was injured. Running into a cave wall had to hurt a lot. Then he noticed the boys eyes and gasped. He covered his mouth with his hand. He mentally cursed himself. That had probably been quite rude to react like that.
"Sorry..." Muse said quietly.

She sighed. Then she looked around the cave, everyones personallity matched the look of there egg... (better?)

Katherine turned around to see the source of all the commotion and looked at the boy whose blindfold had fallen off. He's blind...she thought, wondering why everyone looked so surprised. I mean...he was wearing a blindfold, so it's not hard to guess.

Zaccarius snorted. "Yes, I'm blind. Been blind since I was four..." he murmured, shifting to rub is back. "And I know these woods. I've walked through here with Sauya many times. I know my way by touch...but something changed and it brought me here instead of the lake..." He turned towards the gasp and gave an awkward smile. "It's fine... You learn to get used to it after a few years... One of the reasons I wear my blindfold. It takes people's attention away form my eyes so they can focus more on the rest of me. Just because I'm blind doesn't mean I'm useless, after all. All my other senses are heightened to make up for the loss. But the cave's echo is messing with my hearing, so I don't know how many people are in here right now... I'm Zaccarius, by the way. But everyone calls me Zack because my name's a mouthful." |

Dravius seemed to ooze out of the darkness, spotting a dark shape behind the other strangers in the cave. It almost seemed to be breathing to him, and he walked slowly towards it, stepping forwards and backwards with indescision, before walking up behind the nearest boy, who was helping another who semmed to be blind, and said in his slight german accent, "Hello, you seeem to be standing in front of an ob

Aaron held the egg to his chest,"I'm not going to let anything happen to you." he promised. He looked around at the others, they were all talking about the blind dude. Figures, he thought, they all have to talk about anyone that is different right in front of their face as if he is not there. He sighed, some things never change. He fingered his egg, he could feel it shifting inside, I wonder what it is, he thought.

Katherine turned her head again to look at the boy with the strange german accent, allowing herself a small grin. But so the boy wouldn't catch her staring, she blushed and turned her head back to the ice blue egg, shifting it slightly so that it sat more comfortably in her arms.
