Bump. Ace looked across the fields of her homeland an jsut as she was about to drift off into a dreamwirld ehr father yelled for her to go check teh tall gr*censored*es and see if they were ready to harvest.She signed and got to it.While tehre she spotted an exciting blak midnight egg about the size of her head and hurried home with it and stashed her prize in teh hay.

Oz was sitting in one of the dark corridors of the Sorcerer's castle. His back was resting against the wall and he was drumming his fingers on the shell of a large silver egg resting on his lap. When will you hatch? He wondered quietly. For all the Sorcerer's power, even he could not speed up the hatching of a dragon's egg. "Master Oz!" The boy looked up to see who was addressing him. It was one of the Sorcerer's experiments, running towards him, completely draped in black clothing. "What is it?" Oz asked calmly. "We have tracked down another of the dragon eggs. My Lord wants you to go retrieve it." Oz sighed. More grunt work. "Very well." He stood up and followed the experiment off down the corridor. |

Ace checked her dragon egg every day and it would hatch anytime she could ahrdly stand it.It was teh most precious thing to he and sh ewould die to keep it safe.

Oz appeared in a back alley of a small village, having been transported there by magic. His dragon egg was hidden in his backpack and a sword in a black sheath hung from his waist. He walked through the village, already knowing his destination, and stared coldly at anyone who looked at him for too long. No one challenged him and by sunset he found the area the dragon egg was supposed to be and noticed. He smiled. Perfect. Putting on an innocent face he walked up to the door and knocked.

Ace sneaked out teh back ehr dragisn egg in her pakc and hurried into the forest hopeing she was unseen.Before she got there,a crakc sounded in her pack and out burst a purple and black dragon.Reaching for the little thing she felt searing pain on her left shoulder and crumpled next to her new friend.A dragons mark upon her back.The world swirled into a misty darkness her dragon hidden underneath her.The shell completely exposed.

Oz waited for a few moments before knocking again. Nothing. He frowned and walked around the the side of the house. He blinked in surprise as he spotted a girl that appeared to have collapsed. Swiftly, he walked over to her. She was unconscious. He reached out to shake her shoulder before he spotted a bit of the shell and quickly snatched it up. He felt the familiar tingle of magic on contact and gasped. It was part of the dragon egg! He cursed and pocketed the bit of shell, the shook the girl's shoulder. "Hey," he said dully. "Wake up. You shouldn't sleep out here."

Ace gave no responce.her shirt fell down to reveal the dragon rider marking on her shoulder.a pair of green dragon eyes poked out from under her. iris hissed,a small blue flame errupting from her mouth.

Oz yelped and fell back, not expecting either thing to happen. "What the--" he moved forward again and noticed the mark. "Oh no!" he gasped. Not only had the thing hatched, but it had found a rider! He groaned, shaking his head in disbelief. He fixed the girls shirt back to its proper position, not needing anymore distractions, and looked around thoughtfully. He would need to stay with her until she woke up. Then he would have to convince her to join him and his master, or kill her. He shuddered at the thought of having to do the second option. He looked over at the small dragon. "Hey, bud," he said weakly, "We need to get your rider somewhere safe. That her house?" He nodded over to the house he had been in front of a few minutes earlier.
