Adderstrike raised an eyebrow, "beign sneaky is what I do best, and believe me when I say I am NOT getting my pelt covered in mud." he said. He looked around and saw a patch of moss still wet wtih dew. He rolled on the moss and his thich fur absorbed the water, and the scent, from the moss.

"No." Dreamsplash replied, findiong some cobwebs in a hollow tree and grabbing them, "we figure out a cover story for the rest of the clan." she said, placing the cobwebs on Snakepaws wounds.

Adderstrike rolled his eyes, "one mission and suddenly shes the sneaking goddess." he muttered, shaking his head with a small smile. He nimbly climbed a tree and crept along a thick branch that cossed the border, this way, he could see the patrol much more easily thatthey could see him.

Dreamsplash laughed and shook her head, "and then Wolfstar will never make you a warrior because you make silly mistakes like that." she teased.

"I could care less," Snakepaw hissed, voice suddenly cold and his eyes dark. "The longer I'm an apprentice, the better." On the inside, he knew that was because he liked having Wishcomet as a mentor, but if Dreamsplash asked he'd simply tell her that he wanted to know more before becoming a warrior.

Limefeather ignored him, letting him climb up the tree like some osrt of squirrel. She, on the other hand, let herself blend into the shadows and inched closer, picking up one cat's words; a large, muscular silver tabby about the same size as Adderstrike. "... And then we strike! They'll never know what hit them, Coaltail! Stupid Wolfstar and his flea-bitten clan will fall and we'll have the forest to ourselves!"

They began to ramble, then, about how superior they were to StrikeClan, Limefeather tensed and ready. But they never explained, in detail, what the plan was or when they were going to strike. Or how they were going to, rather. On the inside she seethed, willing them to blurt out the plan for every cat in the forest to hear.

Dreamsplash shrugged, "I'd say becoming a warrior gave you more freedom, as it usually does for apprentices, but you pretty much already have the run of the terrritory." she said with a laugh. She looked up at the sky, you should find someplace to take a nap, so you are well rested when the moon rises tonight. We will continue our journey just before sunset.

When the other cats were out of earshot, Adderstrike returned to Limefeather, fur bristling, "we need to get closer to their camp, find Sunstar and see what her plans are." he said, voice cold and harsh, "But if I had to guess, I would say it was Silverstep((their deputy, and the cat who kills adderstrike XD)) behind this, he seems to have a better head for war than Sunstar does. And hes got much better battle stradegies."

Adderstrike knew the moment they got close to camp, he could smell StoneClan. Looking trought the trees, he could see Sunstar basking in the sun. The gray tom they had been following padded into camp and over to Sunstar. So he's Silverstep. The cat who had been with him, Coaltail, padded up to a she-cat and touched noses with her, obviously his mate.

Silversteps voice reached his ears as he got closer, "I could smell Wolfstar and a patrol near the border, but I think they were hunting, no sign of their deputy though."

Sunstar just nodded, "it is good to know there is still peace among our Clans. This way we can make the first move, what are your plans Silverstep?"

"The dawn before the gathering is our best bet, their warriors will all be resting up for the gathering, so nobody will suspect a thing." Oh we will be ready. Adderstrike thought bitterly, and it will be you who will be suprised.
