Oakfeather shot a glare at his sister as he rose to his feet and limped after Cougarfeather. As the end of his tail was disappearing through the entrance he heard her say to him quietly, "I'm training to become a warrior now."

He ignored it, even though he felt a swell of pride for her, and  started towards Dreamsplash's den. His paw was starting to hurt. Badly.

Dreamsplash padded up to Oakfeather from behind and chuckled, "I'm way ahead of you." she set down the cobweb and herbs she was carrying, "i could smell the blood." she said with a sniff, "not let me see your paw." she said, sniffing his paw. She licked it clean and wrapped it up, "It looks like jsut a sprain. if should be better soon. Itsl ike waht Adderstrike had, so you should rest for a few days, try not to walk to much." her voice was sweet and sincere, and she looked like the happy apprentice she had been.((Shes posessed by Tigerstar XD so shes like, skitzo))

Oakfeather drew away from her, uncomfortable with being so close to Dreamsplash. A snarl escaped his chest. "I don't need your advice," he said in a growl, "My sister is a better medicine cat than you'll ever be." His voice was chipped with ice as he got to his feet weakly. "I'll go ask her how long I'll be recovering for; I don't trust you."

Dreamsplash shrugged, "go ahead. She will tell you the same thing. Rest for about a week, then see how it feels. Every cat heals different." she said while dressing Cougarfeather's wounds. She flicked her tail, "I'm not trying to be better than Limefeather you know. I'm just doing as I was told by StarClan." she reasoned.

"Starclan," Oakfeather spat as he started to hobble away from her. "You have no place with them. Your heart is black as the dark forest." He paused, and said bitterly, "You remind me of Tigerstar."

Without looking back, he limped back towards his sister's temporary den, fur bristling. He flinched everytime he set his paw on the ground. Dislike filled his mouth with a strong, metallic taste as he thought about Dreamsplash. With a huff, Oakfeather forced himself to sit down in front of the Elder's den and wait for Cougarfeather to catch up.

Cougarfeather padded into the Elder's Den, "you know, I think Dreamsplash was telling the truth. I don't think she wanted to tell too badly. That or shes a great liar." she said with a shrug.

Dreamsplash sighed, "you don't know how right you are." she muttered before a pain gripped her heart and she gasped. Don't go soft Dreamsplash. Tigerstar's voice echoed in her head You know what I can do to you. Her confusion turned back into the bitter hatred for all cats. Stop. Dreamsplash thought. I don't want to be like this. Limefeather was my best friend! YOu made me turn on her. She wanted to just cry. I know. Tigerstar replied. And I will do It again in a heartbeat.

Oakfeather followed her in and sat next to his sister. "She's a liar," he muttered crossly. He turned to limefeather, and stuck out his paw. "How long?" His voice was curt and rude; all his patience was worn out.

Limefeather didn't even glance at his paw. "Seven days," she said in a quiet voice as she stood up and shook out her long black fur. "No less than that; you sprained it worse than Adderstrike did. Ten mousetails says you weren't far from dislocating it."

As she padded out of the den and left them alone, she mewed, "I'll be back later."

Adderstrike saw Limefeather exiting the Elders den and gave her a warm smile. He almost started purring, but didnt want to look over-happy to see the she-cat.

Cougarfeather sighed, "seven days? what are you going to do for seven days?" she asked.

Windpaw opened his eyes slowly. He felt battered and a little bruised, but not as tired as before. He rose to his paws with a yawn and padded out of the apprentice's den without even a glance at Lionpaw.

We stayed at the park for a couple hours, then he took me for ice cream.

Limefeather raised her cautious eyes and met Adderstrike. She instantly choked on her words, and her emotions were a jumbled heap of confusion. No, she thought scoldingly. No. I can't... She swallowed the lump forming in her throat and smiled weakly at him.

Oakfeather shrugged, sinking into an empty nest. "Talk to my sister... sit in the nursery and talk to the queens and their kits. I dunno." He frowned. "I have no clue."

Wolfstar's eyes snapped open, and he focused on Windpaw. Rising to his feet stiffly, he padded over to the apprentice. He wouldn't be shoved off now. "Now," he said curtly. "tell me what happened."

Lionpaw sat up, blinking a few times as she tried to remember where she was. Oh yes, she thought, clearly pleased. In the camp. Where is...?  She glanced over at Windpaw's nest, ice clutching her heart. Oh, yeah... He's gone.... She frowned, feeling a little hollow, and padded stiffly into the camp.

Windpaw lashed his tail, "do you really even need to ask? We were attacked by a fox oviously. It hurt Oakfeathers paw and knocked Cougarfeather out. Me and Lionpaw killed it." he said angrily. Why does he even bother to ask the obvious? Its not like he cant smell the fox!

Adderstrike tilted his head, "whats the matter?" he asked, sensing her reluctance.

Moonsong blinked, "I wonder if Lionpaw is awake too." she muttered.

Cougarfeatehr tilted her head, "what about me? I will be here to talk to most of the time too." she said, nudging his shoulder lightly, "and its only seven days. Thats not that long."

Wolfstar snarled, baring his teeth at the apprentice. "You will speak to me with respect," he hissed in an icy tone. "And you will explain to me, carefully, what happened. Where were you when the fox attacked, where did the fox attack, and who was with you." His eyes were hard and emotionless. "Now."

Oakfeather rolled onto his back, legs sticking up in the air like he was a kit again. "Mhm," he said. "But it seems like an eternity!"

Lionpaw nosed the finch she had chosen, her mouth feeling dry and her stomach feeling full. She couldn't remember the last time she'd eaten, but she still couldn't manage to eat.

Limefeather shook her head and said a quick, short 'nothing'. She dragged her eyes away from him and tried to flatten her ruffled fur. "When do you think I'll begin my training?" she said in a tense voice, not able to meet his eyes.

Snakepaw slid out of the apprentice's den, sharp eyes scanning the camp. He picked out Wishpaw and started to pad towards her, a raspy pur growing in his throat. His black fur felt warm and prickly as he thought about her and Dreamsplash.

Poppypaw padded out of the apprentice's den, startching out her sleek body with a small yawn. Her keen gold eyes looked around the clearing, but seeing nothing interesting or dramatic, she started to walk towards the fresh-kill pile.

Windpaw bared his teeth in response to Wolfstar, "I will talk to you however I want. I've never treated anyone with anything but respect and I get the short end of the stick. I'm sick of it." He snarled, "I was in camp when the fox attacked. By myself. I heard Cougarfeatehr and Oakfeather's yowls and smelled blood so I went to investigate. I found Cougarfeatehr unconcious and Oakfeather fighting the fox. so I decided to help. Then Oakfeather let go to check on Cougarfeather and Lionpaw showed up."

Cougarfeather laughed, "then I guess you better find something to do in camp. Then you wont feel as useless." she suggested.

Wishpaw smiled at Snakepaw, "hi." she purred. she felt her face grow warm.((FAIL XD))

Adderstrike shrugged, "whenever some apprentices become warriors, so we have warriors without apprentices. Im pretty sure that Windpaw and Wishpaw will become warriors soon. Sablepaw won't be far behind." he said.

Wolfstar spun around and started to stalk away from Windpaw. "Watch yourself," was all he hissed as he disappeared into his den with a flick of his silver tail.

Limefeather nodded, flicking her ears as she let her thoughts drag her to another place. Her eyes were hollow-looking as she stared blankly at her paws.

Poppypaw dragged a mouse into a shady spot near the nursery and started to gnaw on it thoughtfully.

Oakfeather chuckled, cuffing her over one ear playfully.

Sablepaw stood up, shaking out her fur carefully. She yawned, blinking her sightless eyes a few times. "Say," she mewed to Feralwind. "How long have we been laying here for?"

Snakepaw padded up to her, curling up beside her so their pelts just barely brushed. "Hey," he said quietly, closing his eyes and trying to focus on her. "What's up?"

Lionpaw saw Moonsong, and started to walk in the opposite direction of her. She really didn't want to talk right now, and she still felt a little tired.

Moonsong twitched her nose, "Lionpaw." she muttered, following the scent of her apprentice. She caught up to the other cat quickly, "and just hwere do you think you are going?" she asked.

"I could say the same to you." Windpaw called after his leader, fluffing up his gold and white fur. The young tom spun and padded out of camp in a huff.

Adderstrike sighed, "seriously. Whats bothering you? I'm not stupid. I can tell when somethings wrong."

Feralwind looked up at the sky and blinked a few times, "I dont know, a few hours maybe." he said with a yawn.

Wishpaw shrugged ,"I don't know. Everyones fighting, and almost nothing is going right, but there's nothing any of us can do about it. Have you noticed how crazy everything is?" she meowed, "I just hope somthing happens soon that straightens out this mess!"
