Lilly and Rex both plundged into the water thier splash scaring away any small fish in the area. The two sibling swam after David going up of breaths every now and then .

David plunged toward the bottom. To his surprise, it disappeared . He was coming towards broad daylight. " Strange" he said. He then realized that he was out of the water. He got up and looked behind him. Lilly and Rex were behind him and the ground was there again. The water was only a few inches deep. " Hello!" said a blonde woman of about twenty-three." Welcome to Camp Calamari. Are you ready for a challenge? I hope so. Your cabin number is thirty-two. It'll be near the lagoon, along with the hot tub. As for your friends,you can visit them by our underground tube system. Their code is one oh three four and yours is six oh two oh. Have a nice day! Your lessons start tomorrow." David was liking this place better and better.

He walked toward his cabin and stood back in awe. It was a thatched roof hut, but it had the most advanced technology he had ever seen. He stepped inside. " Good afternoon, sir. What is your name?" his super computer said. " I'm David," David said. " And you are?"
" Hela. I'll be your assistant during your stay this summer." She said. " How long has this camp been here, Hela?" David asked. " About fifty years. We believe in the most advanced technology we can get." " Wow," he said. " I think I'll visit my friends now" he said. " Okay, see you later!" said Hela. David typed in the code and stepped inside. " Please hold on to the rail" said Hela. David listened as the tube whizzed him away. In a matter of seconds he was there. " Hi, Rex. Hello, Lilly. This place is awesome, huh?"

Lilly stood beside her brother in their cabin an ex
pression of boredness on her face "It's Tokyo all over again" she said turning to look at her brother. Rex however was smiling "I know right isn't it great? Imagen the gaming systems they have here and better yet all the channels on the TV." he said before looking at her "You don't like it?" he asked. "It's fine." Lilly said "Just to much tecnology I mean do we really need all of this?". Rex shrugged "Does it matter if we do?" he asked. "Well I guess it doesn't but." Lilly shrugged "I swear it's going to turn against us some how.".

Lilly sat down on her bed boredly before closing her eyes and laying down . "Hey David." Rex said as he came into their room. "Hi." Lilly said waving to David but not bothering to get up. "This place is pretty cool I'll admit." Rex said "But Lilly doesn't think so." ."That's because this is camp Calamari." Lilly said "You can't trust anything here.".

"I need to go. See you later!" David said. He got back into the tube system and went back to his new home. " Hello, Hela.Mind showing me the jacuzzi?" " To the left, inside the wall. the code for today  is Crazy Sticks eat baths rather quickly." Hela said. " Okay," David said and repeated the sentence. He took off his clothes and dipped in. Maybe this place wasn't bad after all. Maybe  it wasn't. He relaxed in the tub and fell asleep.

"And now, for today's lesson. I am Fiona. I will help you face your fears. A big hole opened under David and he began to fall into shark-infested water. He screamed. The sharks opened their mouths and- he woke up. " Training session 1 complete." Hela said. David found himself still in the jacuzzi from before and got up and got dressed. " Lilly was right," David said. " Technology does come with a price." He walked over to the front door. " A blonde woman appeared. " Hello," she said. " My name is-" " Fiona." David said and fainted. The dream was becoming reality.

" Very nice, you know my name. i suppose Hela gave you your first training session. Very good. I also suppose you know what new found fear you're facing today. Right this way." Fiona led David toward the lagoon. " Your friends will be here shortly. Int the meantime, I will explain the rules." " Oh, great. A second school." David said. " Don't worry. they're just about the competition." David shuffled his feet. Competition? He always lost at those. And the bad thing was, the competition was probably staying alive. How long would he survive? " Here, let me show you the graveyard." Fiona said. David groaned.

" This is Alexandria Gonner the third. She died by electrocution, which she was afraid of. And over here is Henry Dyedizal, who died from food poisoning. And finally, the most recent death, Frederick Runahwae. He died by drowning in a well. Oh, looks like your friends are here. get ready for your first day at Camp Calamari." Fiona dragged David towards his friends. David was starting to get the better picture of this place. It was nice, but to like it you had to pay the price.

Lilly and Rex were standing side by side Lilly with a frown upon her face and Rex with an almost unreadable ex
pression. "I told you." Lilly muttered under her breath she had dreamed about ghosts last night so she guessed that was what she was up against to day I wonder if one of them will be dad She thought looking at the ground before shaking her head. Rex looked at her "It'll be okay." he said before looking at the ground Rex had dreamed about being attacked by a pack of wild moose and it scared him to think of how many people died because off moose.

Rex looked ahead and watched as David was being puched toward them by a blonde women "We were sent here by our room." Rex said boredly. Lilly looked up and gave a helf hearted smile.

" Rex! Lilly! Come out!It's my fear time!" David said. Rex and Lilly watched as David jumped into the water. His mission: Get the glowstick and get out.

"Punch it on the nose." Lilly said boredly watching as David dove in. Rex looked over the ocean "Well he's going to have a whole lot of fun." He said.

The blonde woman looked up." Now Rex, it's time for your challenge."

"Oh brilliant." Rex said "I'm going to be attacked by moose." He said. Lilly patted her brothers back "Don't worry." she said "you'll be fine.". Rex gave a small smile before turning to the blonde women "Lead the way blondie" he said.

The floor opened before Rex as he fell into a giant pile of moose meat and live moose. " What you get for calling me blondie!" said Fiona. Meanwhile, David swam, intent on finding the glowstick. he was running out of air.

Lilly watched as he brother fell and landed on the back of one of the live moose "I told you." she said. Rex growled slightly as the moose looked back at him before it started trashing about trying to throw him off it's back. Rex held on tight "NO!" he growled holding on for dear life as the other moose around him started to charge.

"As for you, Lilly, welcome to the land of serial killer kindergarteners and scissors in the ground" Fiona said.

"Killer kindergartners?" Lilly said "I'm not afraid of those." She looked at the ground a slilent fear in her eyes I hate sharp things though so I'll have to watch my step she thought before looking up at Fiona "I accept your challenge." she said "And I'm not going to loose.".

A killer kindergartener ran up to her, a pencil and pair of safety scissors in his hand. " Now what do you think?" Fiona said.Meanwhile, David located the glowstick. He reached out for it,and took it. Right before he got out, he felt something. The glowstick was gone, and a shark was holding onto his bare thigh.(he took his clothes off to swim since he was not provided swimwear)

"Safety scissors don't cut anything but paper." Lilly said looking down at the kindergartner "BEat it kid before I call your mother." she growled not moving from where she was standing.

The kid stood up straight. He was 5'7 " I also have a dagger, if you wish to feel it" he said.



David gasped. He dove into the shark and got the glowstick. He forced the shark's jaws open and swam out, free and naked. He began to get dressed in front of a- crowd?

Lilly looked at the kid.She was 5'8 "I'm not scared of you kid." she said her eyes glinting "And show me the dagger." she said "I'd like to know that it exists you freak.".

The boy took out the dagger and slashed at her arm." Now you know it's not a projection," he said. His eyes glinted, mimicking hers.


David looked up at the crowd, embarrassed as the crowd roared with laughter. This must've been his second fear test.
