OoC: I didn't even see that you posted yesterday. o.o' BiC

"That's the one," Alix heard Sumnor say,  and without even realizing it, Alix had covered Ryan's eyes. Something about the alter made her skin crawl. Probably all of it, she thought. The way it was built called to attention that a full grown man could be tied down upon it and sacrificed. When Sumnor sighed, Alix felt a shiver go up her spine. "This won't take long, it takes some the summoner's blood to successfully re-call the deceased.... so this is going to be painful, but I brought a clean dagger just for this eventuallity." His words weren't as comforting as she hoped they would be. When he drew his blade from his back pack, Alix almost fainted. She knew that her pale skin was as white as a sheet, but she couldn't help it. The feeling of dread was just too overwhelming for her to ignore.

When Sumnor stood a step away from her with a bleak ex
pression, Alix wanted to start babbling about how bad of an idea this was. She wanted him to see that they didn't need his uncle and if he was a spectre then he could stay that way. "You all might want to step back, this may get..... energetic, you know how altars get over a blood letting." Mesmerized by his hand motion, Alix felt Ryan cease his wiggling as sleep enveloped him. "That should keep him asleep for an hour or two." His smile was tender as he looked down at her, and Alix knew that she was frowning with wide, scared eyes. "Sorry you have to see dark magic like this.... no young vampire should have to watch Dark magic.... it always tortures them, the mere energy causing them slight pain." Bowing her head so that Sumnor wouldn't see the fear on her face, Alix wished she could run. Run from all this and leave everything complicated behind, but she wouldn't do that again. She was changing, slowly, from the person she once was but for the better. Her sapphire eyes were swirling blues of emotions.

Bearly whispering it, Alix breathed, "Be safe, Sumnor." Looking up when his looming shadow disappeared, Alix watched wearily as Sumnor began the ritual. She watched him slash is own palm and winced in knowing pain with him. The palm was so tender and soft that it often ached for days after a cut like that. Alix felt herself begin to feel different. As the first drop of blood hit the cold stone she shivered, and when the second hit she realized she was gripping Ryan tighter than before. Fearing she might hurt him, Alix knelt and set him on the ground, hoping Sumnor had kept the spell on his for the enemies not to see him. Slowly standing again, Alix watched as the blood flowed steadily now. An odd feeling filled her, it told her to go to Sumnor and lick the wound, to stop the blood flow and pain.

Suddenly he spoke in a deep, loud voice, "The man I summon is the brother of my father, my uncle, the one who protected me through the years.... crayal nalgar, septus nevala!" There was a flash that hurt not only her eyes but her head and body too. Gripping her stomach Alix fought the waves of nausea. Energy burst forth and ripped at her skin and mind. The door in her mind, the one that held her vampire power, slammed open and she whimpered as an unbelievable about of power exploded through her. Her fingers felt like fire and all her skin threatened to split open. Her wolf howled with anger at the push of vampire power, but Alix was in too much pain to hear it. A shrill of white noise echoed in her ears until she thought they would bleed, but suddenly it all stopped.

Looking down at her hands with new eyes, for everything was so much crisper, Alix heard with delicately sensitive ears, "Stupid boy, always trusting so easily." A lethal growl erupted from her raw throat as she glared at the half-man, half-spectre. Sumnor reacted with graceful speed as he tossed his violent uncle aside. "You offer one hand but arm the other, I see you did learn something from me."

"I'm gonna need you guys for this one..." Sumnor grunted, Alix knew that he must be tired and in pain, but she felt so alive. With a predator's wicked stare, Alix stalked forward. Her body was all grace, muscle, and threat. As she side stepped the alter another wave of energy slammed into her. Alix was prepared for it this time and kept the untamable energy from using her. Instead she felt her instincts take over as she lifted her right hand and pointed it at Sumnor's uncle. When she flexed all of her fingers apart, in a stop gesture, her mind filled with the image of him being dismembered. She was his legs ripe from him first, next his arms, and lastly his head; in reality Alix merely heard a satisfying pop as each ghostly leg dislocated from their sockets, two simultaneous snaps as his tendons ripped his shoulder apart, and a wicked crack as his neck broke. Alix didn't know if these injuries would kill a half-spectre, but she did know he wasn't going anywhere for a while if he didn't die because even as immortals took time heal such deadly wounds.

With the inner fire in her sapphire eyes, Alix growled at the fallen man, "Never threaten my companions." She was horrified by what she had so violently done, but Alix pushed that thought away. That was for later examination when the bad guys where no longer there to see you break down and cry. You never cry in front of the bad guys, she told herself. Or toss you cookies, she added when her stomach rolled. Putting her mind on other things, hoping to keep strong, Alix went to Sumnor. Grabbing his injured hand's wrist, she turned the palm up to her. The fabric he had torn to stop the bleeding was soaked all the way through. "Sumnor," she whispered aloud in a heartbroken whimper. Looking up at him, her eyes wide with long lost innocence because of the cruel world, "What do you need me to do?

Sumnor was hunched over, pain throughout his wrecked body, smiling meekly up at the one he now loved, "I love you, Alix.... I need you to pray to the vampire gods for me.... protect Ryan best you can." He then stood, ignoring the pain, as he watched his uncle move up into a crouch, the healing process already most of the way complete. He ripped the fabric from his palm and spat in the wound, causing it to heal, leaving no essence of the wound behind, "Time I send you to the satan that deserves you."

His hand shot towards him, sending the spectre rocketing back into the cavern wall behind him. Sumnor's uncle dissapeared, reapearing directly in front of him, grasping him around the throat once again, "You would really take an old Man's last grasp at life?""I am the only survivor left of my family, of course I would, I wish to live on to continue the pegagnyx name, now die you useless old fool."

He threw a heavy punch into the Spectre's name, before transforming into his mroe vicious form, letting the anger from his parent's death spill over, which then pushed him to transform into his full demon form. He was at least fourteen feet tall, his skin a deep mechrite red colour. His eyes seeped with red smoke, the red iris no longer there, neither was the white, his eyes were just black globes.

His hair had dissapeared, replaced by a bald red scalp, two huge hors pertruding from the top of his forehead, curved slightly at the top. His muscles had grown exponentially, his clothes disappearing along with his hair, left with a ragged piece of cloth around his middle held by a sturdy belt. He glowered at his uncle, true hatred in the black globes that had become his eyes.

His wide openhand swatted up his uncle and had him in a tight grip, "You die now, leave me and the woman I love to live a life of happiness with my son, and hopefully another child."  His left hand curled into a tight fist, his right openning up as his left crushed his uncle into nothingness, a loud scream piercing the air, sheer pain, torture, as Sumnor had taken on the role of Dante, sending a well deserved soul down to hell.

"I love you, Alix.... I need you to pray to the vampire gods for me.... protect Ryan best you can." His first words brought joy and fright to her heart, but it slowly turned cold when he again pressured her to leave behind her religious beliefs. All she could do, though, was stare up at him with wide sapphire eyes. When he turned away from her, Alix went to Ryan. Gathering the little boy, who was still unconscious, into the safety of her arms she turned to stare at Sumnor. He was towering over his uncle, hatred gleaming in his molten eyes. They bickered, but Alix didn't hear them. She only worried about the outcome. Then Sumnor became a different being, for he was no longer a man. Changing before her eyes, Alix stared in a mixture of awe and horror. What is he becoming? Will I become like that when I'm an older vampire? she wondered. Sumnor bellowed, "You die now! Leave me and the woman I love to live a life of happiness with my son, and hopefully another child." With fierce, brutal strength, Sumnor killed his uncle. Diminishing him to nothing.

Timidly, Alix approached Sumnor. He had showed that he would use his strength against her if angered, but would he hold back now? Stopping a foot away, Ryan cradled protectively in her arms, Alix whispered, "Sumnor?" Her usual shivers started up again so she trembled from head to toe. "Are you still with me?" Reaching out, Alix rested on delicate hand on Sumnor's back, putting herself between Sumnor and Ryan just in case he was disorientated. With her combined blood, she was pretty certain she could withstand a lot, but not innocently human Ryan. Though, if Sumnor ever struck her in anger Alix would leave. She was too proud to be mistreated, and that was why she didn't fight back the other day when he had pinned her to the ground. She had been waiting, waiting for the hit, and when it never came Alix had put a level of trust in Sumnor that she had never given to anyone else.

Sumnor snapped around at the feel of a hand on his forearm, the comparison tiny... He snarled, before realising who it was and collapsing, morphing into his human form while unconcious. Dryac ran over, crouching low by his friend, before realising just who was around and taking two steps back.

"My apologies, it's your job to be worried abbout him now.... I should not have took it upon myself to run to him."  Ryan jumped down and sat, his back to Sumnor's abdomen, a hand on his upper arm, "Wake up Daddy..." Ryan's eyes snapped open when he realied what he said, before running and hiding behind Dryac's leg, "It's okay boy, I can see why you look at him as a Father, you have been close since you met."

Ryac kept his head down, feeling a blush play on his cheeks as he began to play with one of the pockets on Dryac's combat trousers. Dryac looked up at Alix and smiled, "Looks like you will be able to talk to the one who holds you so dear after all."  Sumnor pulled himself up into a sititng position as he groaned, wincing as pain wreaked havoc through his entire body, "Owch.... God he really had to go and push me didn't he?.."

He attempted to stand, before groaning and collapsing back onto his backside, "Ooh, better leave that a few minutes." He remained sat on the ground, looking up at Ryan, folowed by Dryac and Alix, noting the obvious tension, "What did I miss? Did I say something..?"

Frozen in fear, Alix watched in horror as Sumnor spun around to snarl at her, but that wasn't what made her nearly faint. When Sumnor pulled back, both physically and emotionally, and fell to the ground. Holding Ryan in a tight grip before she realized it, Alix forced herself to relax her arms even though her mouth was still open in a silent scream and her eyes went wide. Suddenly, everything seemed to be moving too fast, Dryac was kneeling by Sumnor. Alix didn't know when the old friend had gotten there, but she wasn't about to move. "My apologies, it's your job to be worried about him now.... I should not have took it upon myself to run to him." Setting Ryan down so his jump wasn't too risky, Alix fell to her knees. Her trembles began to grow as her fear-scent clouded the air.

When Ryan whispered, "Wake up Daddy..." Alix thought her heart was going to shatter. The young boy seemed to realize what he said because he got to his feet and hid behind Dryac's leg. Alix didn't hear what Dryac said in reply because she was too transfixed on Sumnor. Seeing him so vulnerable, so pale. Stroking his ebony hair from his face, Alix felt her heart beat again when Sumnor moaned in pain. Thank you, Lord! Closing her eyes and creating fists with her hands, Alix bowed her head. Her shoulder shook, but she wasn't crying, she had just been so scared.

"Owch.... God he really had to go and push me didn't he?.." Lifting her head, Alix felt her muscles relax when she found Sumnor sitting up.

Since she couldn't help herself, Alix gently scolded, "Watch how you use my Lord's name." In a feather light touch, Alix stroked Sumnor's brows, his cheeks, his nose, and lips, all of his face; as if making sure he was real and solid. Pulling back when he made as if to stand, Alix was about to tell him to stay seated when he fell back.

"Ooh, better leave that a few minutes," he mused before asking, after a stare at each of their faces, "What did I miss? Did I say something..?"

Lifting her knees Alix rested her chin between them and stared at Sumnor. He looked so normal now. But when will that other side come out again? she wondered. "You said stuff, but I'm more concerned about how you feel." Raising a hand Alix rested the back of it on his forehead as if to check for a fever, of course there was none. Hesitating, her sapphire eyes were swireling deep ocean blues, she asked, "Do you remember what happened?" Licking her lips nervously she whispered, "Do you know what you can becmome?"

Sumnor coughed into a fisted hand, "Watch how you use my Lord's name." "Oh, I hate to do this to one so young.... How can I believe in any lord, be they human or vampire, if I can change to something as ungodly as a demon..?" Dryac nodded at what Sumnor was saying, "It's the truth Alix, there is nothing more hate filled and dreaded as a demon, even I'd have a tough fight against a lesser demon, nevermind a fully fledged demon, or a vampire demon like Sumnor here."

Sumnor stretched, "Not to belittle your beliefs, its just ion my position I find it extremely difficult to put any stake in a religious quota of my life... The only thing I want to put belied in right now is you..."  He stroked the palm of his good hand down the side of Alix's face, "And I did know of the demon part of me, when I started learning Dark magic I was told there was always a possibility of that part  of me becoming present, and now it has, I will be able to do it at will, and it will put less strain on me.

He stood, gazing at the vast open space before him, "This should be easier as well."  He looked for a reasonable position and whipped his hand upwards, "Loktar!" a gash opened up in the fabric of space in front of them ocne again, earth visible on the other side, he walked through as if walking through a normal door.

He looked around once his feet touched soft ground, his nose filling with the scent of humans, he looked around, they were only around half a mile from a city, He sniffed the air, not catching any scents close enough to alarm him, he could keep the gate open until the others got through.

Speaking of which, Dryac stepped out behind him, "I'll never get used to see you using black magic so readily, surely there's some risk attatched to it..." "What isn't there risk attatched to, yes there is a certain degree of lack of control when it comes to most mages.... Humans with power, what more ahs to be said? but the vampire-demon mix in me seems to nullify any risky elements."

Listening intently, Alix understood Sumnor. She was much younger than him, and she had yet to do half the things he had or see the things he had. She didn't think that her simple comment would offend him, but she just couldn't stop herself from defending her God. Alix was never one to fill another person with facts and dates about the Bible. She simply loved and prayed to her Lord and if someone happened to ask her about her faith she would politely tell them. If they wanted to know more she was happy to obliged, and if they did not she peacefully left the subject. Sighing Alix hoped she hadn't hurt Sumnor's feelings in anyway. She didn't mean to get him and Dryac riled up.

Alix also quietly took in what Sumnor was saying about being a demon. Shivering slightly she stroked the top of Ryan's head, comforting him and herself. Alix hoped that Sumnor wouldn't have to ever go into his demon state again. It had looked so painful. At last he rumbled in his deep, smoothly accented voice, "Loktar!" Alix wondered what the word meant, but the fabric of time ripped open at the obvious command to show earth.

Watching as first Sumnor then Dryac walked through, Alix grasped Ryan's hand and followed suit. Once on the other side, Alix took a deep breath. It was wonderful smelling nature and humanity again, and not rotting demon flesh. Then she heard Dryac murmur, "I'll never get used to see you using black magic so readily, surely there's some risk attached to it..." Fully tuned to their conversation Alix wondered what type of consequences Sumnor would suffer because of black magic use.

"What isn't there risk attatched to, yes there is a certain degree of lack of control when it comes to most mages.... Humans with power, what more ahs to be said? but the vampire-demon mix in me seems to nullify any risky elements." Sumnor supplied.

Walking over to them Alix found herself placing a hand on Sumnor's arm, as if it was a common occurrence to them. Her sapphire eyes were bright and sharp while she looked up at him. Her face blank, Alix knew that her eyes held enough emotion in them to tell Sumnor how grateful she really was, and how much he liked him even as her words teased. "Thank you, Sumnor, for putting us in hot water for days only to have your uncle of bananas on us." She cocked a mischievous eyebrow before becoming serious. Letting go of Ryan's hand, Alix hugged Sumnor and whispered into his chest, "Thank you for saving Ryan and getting us out of there."

Pulling away before Dryac could make a possible too much PDA comment, Alix stretched her arms over her head and yawned widely. When her mouth closed Alix winced a little because of her fangs. Running her tongue over the sharp point before grumbling loudly, "I hope this means we get to go sleep in a house now. I don't want to sleep outside one more night without a blanket and pillow."

Sumnor looked up at the sky, it was noon, perfect time of day for him to go home, or the closest thing he had to a home - His Birth place, Ireland. "Well I have a house, three bedrooms, basic bathroom, kitchen etc... It'll take around half hour of solid flitting to get to Ireland." Sumnor stretched, before walking over to Alix and putting his hand on her right thigh and side-hugging her, his right hip snuggling into her left, his entire body following suit with it's partner on her body.

The comment about going home was as a reply to her  "I hope this means we get to go sleep in a house now. I don't want to sleep outside one more night without a blanket and pillow." comment. The hug was his way of shutting down her more teasing comment of, "Thank you, Sumnor, for putting us in hot water for days only to have your uncle of bananas on us."

"Thank you for saving Ryan and getting us out of there." The only reply he gave that comment was a swift kiss, the reason for the swiftness was she still seemed nervous around the not-so-emotional Dryac. He picked Dryac up and sat him on his shoulders, patting the young boy's thigh, letting him know that they were about to flit, causing him to get excited, "Follow my pace carefully, if we go over water don't worry, flitting defies most laws of science, water is one of those laws," He smiled before falling into an immediate flit.

((Time Skip, flitting can get old quickly. >.>))

In what seemed like a few minutes but on checking a watch was comfirmed as 16 minutes, Sumnor and Ryan were stood at the door of his home, the others surely following closely behind him. He placed Ryan down and handed him the key to the front door, "Want to unlock the front door yourself, son?"   Ryan hopped up and down and ran to the door, pushing the key in and pushing the door open.

OoC: "He picked Dryac up and sat him on his shoulders..?" Lol! I think you did a name typo Reu, funny thought though~ xD

Color flushed her cheeks when Sumnor kissed her again. Never in her life had she been kissed so much. Raising her hand to her lips Alix nibbled on her knuckle with a shy glance at Dryac. When Sumnor easily placed Ryan on his shoulders, in their routine now, Alix prepared herself for a travel. "Follow my pace carefully, if we go over water don't worry, flitting defies most laws of science, water is one of those laws." Sumnor's accented voice was soothing to hear and Alix knew she would follow where ever he went. With a quick smile Sumnor was off, Alix couldn't help her own sheepish smile from spreading across her soft, pink lips. This is getting pretty fun, she thought dashing after the two retreating men. I like this company. It was a thought Alix had never expected to come across her mind, but it was welcomed.

::Sumnor's House::
Jogging up the path, Alix came to a halt behind Sumnor with Dryac close behind. She had put on a little extra speed to pa.ss the other lycan to satisfy her competitive nature. When she heard Sumnor ask Ryan, "Want to unlock the front door yourself, son?" Alix felt a tug at her heart. It was such a simple thing to do but Alix knew that it meant the world to Ryan. The little boy took nothing for granted. She watched with calm sapphire eyes as Ryan's cherub child hands grasped the key and unsteadily put it in the lock before turning it. Her sensitive ears heard each tooth push back the guards and unlock the door. Suddenly nervous, Alix realized this was the first time in over two years that she was going to enter a home. Always hiding out in the forest or sleeping in parks, Alix had lived off of a simple nap sack for a year after leaving Sasha. Then she had gotten a job and rented an apartment. The apartment had never been a home; it was simply a place to store her things and eat, because Alix would often get restless and sleep outside in a tent.

Realizing how dirty she was, Alix pursed her lips and hoped she wouldn't soil the carpet or wood flooring if she went inside, but she took comfort in the fact that Sumnor and Dryac weren't in much better shape. "Sumnor, being a vampire do I have to ask you to go into your home? I mean, is that a myth? Or can vampires really not go into a home uninvited?" She felt silly for asking, but randomly she would remember how little she actually knew about her new self. "Oh, and do I still have a reflection? If I don't it is going to be a nightmare to up make-up on and do my hair." Tugging on her waist length braid, Alix wondered if her looks changed at all from becoming a vampire. Her skin had always been naturally pale so that was nothing new. Then another thought came to her as Ryan pushed the door open, this one a little more private, um Sumnor? Alix pushed with her mind while making a wall so that hopefully Dryac wouldn't pick up on it,  will I get my own room?

Another thought occured to her, "Where are we?" It was a beautiful place, where ever they were. It looked nothing like the crowded New York streets, and it made the modest suburban homes in Washington look too packed together. As far as she could tell, they were the only ones out here for miles. It's beautifully peaceful.

"Sumnor, being a vampire do I have to ask you to go into your home? I mean, is that a myth? Or can vampires really not go into a home uninvited?" Sumnor chuckled at her utter innocence, "Disregard all myths you've heard throughout your human life, they're all false, including the death by sunlight nonsense, we just burn a bit quicker when in strong sun." He picked at his teeth, looking at the upstairs windows, "I see the window cleaner still worked unpaid, that man's a saint."

He craned his neck to either side, forcing it to click twice, "Oh, and do I still have a reflection? If I don't it is going to be a nightmare to up make-up on and do my hair." He had been keeping a track on her mind since they had started flitting, to ensure he didn't lose her, he had been dismantling the bridge when he felt the worries about changing appearances. "You do have a reflection, all vampires do, apart from soul stealers, they're the ones who drain their victims, taking their soul, they see a twisted honour in keeping part of their victims alive inside them..."

"And as for your appearance, no it won't change, you'll be just as beautiful as you ever were forever." He shuddered slightly as her voice whisperred in his mind, merely because he wasn't expecting her to be getting so good so quickly, You will get your own room if you wish, it is an incredibly large house on the inside.
"Where are we?" "We're in my birth-place, Ireland."

He walked through the front door, ruffling Ryan's hair before walking into the living room and clicking his fingers to ignite the fireplace. He sat on one of the large couches, leaning his head back, gazing at the ceiling, relieved to finally be bcak home, basking in the heat produced by the fire.

Delighted by what Sumnor was telling her, Alix shifted from foot to foot like an excited child in a candy store. She had figured out that they didn't literally burn in the sunlight, but her skin was a little tender and probably pink on the cheeks. Watching Sumnor pick at his teeth in the windows, Alix chuckled at his saint comment. Though, in this day and age, it was hard to find a true worker now. After mind chatting with him Alix saw him shiver. If it was because of the cool breeze or something else, Alix didn't know. Happy that the mind speaking wasn't taking as much out of her as it did the other times, she mentally shifted through the doors of her mind. Many still refused to budge, but others opened slowly and filled her with curiosity. The humming noise returned to her ears, a mild version of when Sumnor had done the dark magic, and the tingling on her arms made goose bumps appear. Slamming the doors again, Alix decided to leave them for later inspection.

"Ireland," she breathed. It was a beautiful country. Then Alix thought of something so she asked while following him into the house, "You were born here? So your Irish. Oh! You don't look like a Celtic warrior, but are you?" Her sapphire eyes were sparkling with interest. The warrior tattoos had always been fascinating to her.

Alix suddenly realized how wrong she could be about guessing, so she blushed and ducked her head. Culture had not been a big thing with her pack, and Sasha hadn't bothered to put her in school so Alix had learned everything by herself. "Er, never mind, where's the shower?" Oh, just the thought of getting all this grim off of her made Alix happier.

Sumnor popped each of his knuckles in turn, looking up as Alix walked into the living room where he was sat, "You were born here? So your Irish. Oh! You don't look like a Celtic warrior, but are you?" Sumnor smiled warmly at her, "I  was born and trained, rised as a celtic warrior for the first ten years by my parents, then until I was sixteen by my.... 'uncle'." He stood, removing his leather jacket and lobbing it onto the other couch, "Celtic Tribal tattoos adorn my entire body, ink doesn't show so well in the demon realm, that's why you haven't seen any of them yet."

His hands went to the neck of his long sleeved shirt as he played with it thoughtfully for a few moments before pulling off his shirt, revealing his upper body, covered with tribal tattoos,

This was on his left pectoral, This was on the right, a mixture of these, These, And these adorned the rest of the space.

He spread his arms, smiling once again at Alix, "These.... are what my childhood left me with, rather a better gift than scars, plus I think they look good." He chuckled lightly, puling his shirt on once again, "of course, there are more down my legs which you must wait and see." He smiled, before beckoning for her to follow, and guiding her to the bathroom, "Here you go, a shower, also the bath is big enough to swim in, if you want to get clean that way."

Lifting her eyes from her bare toes, since she had left her tennis shoes by the door, Alix sucked in a deep breath. She watched as Sumnor's lean muscles rippled while he stripped off his shirt. Then she was intrigued by the intricate markings that decorated nearly every inch of his skin. Her mouth opened in a silent "oh" as she traced the designs with her eyes. "These.... are what my childhood left me with, rather a better gift than scars, plus I think they look good." Blinking out of her trance when Sumnor pulled his shirt back on, Alix beamed up at him. "Of course, there are more down my legs which you must wait and see."

"I'll definitely pa.ss until you wash those stinky feet," she teased. "And those are beautiful, must have been painful to have all that skin covered with ink, though."

Trotting along behind Sumnor, Alix made a girly shrill of delight when he said, "Here you go, a shower, also the bath is big enough to swim in, if you want to get clean that way."

Her skin felt grimy and she knew was covered with dirt, and the thought of washing out her waist length hair was delightful. Playfully pushing Sumnor into the hall, Alix promised, "Oh, I plan on using all the hot water. Now don't expect me out of here for hours." Gently closing the door, Alix leaned against it and sighed. Snooping around the restroom she found a new toothbrush, a fluffy towel, and a hair brush. It was all she needed so she jumped into the shower for a rinse. When all the dirt was out of her hair Alix relaxed and filled the tub. It was huge. When she stretched out her toes she couldn't touch the other end. Wow, it's like an indoor pool. After an hour Alix couldn't sit still any longer. Getting out and drying off, Alix took her time brushing her hair. Taking her time to neatly braid her hair in two cute side French braids Alix looked around and frowned at her filthy cloths. "Drats, I don't want to get back in those," but with nothing else to wear Alix slipped the dirty, black cloths on again.

Peeking out of the door, Alix felt weird when her braid didn't sway behind her since it was tied up shorter. Silently padding down the hallway Alix found Sumnor and asked, "What can I wear?"

"I'll definitely pa.ss until you wash those stinky feet," Sumnor chuckled softly, a smirk playing on his lips once again, "Well I'm going to have to enure that happens." "And those are beautiful, must have been painful to have all that skin covered with ink, though." "Not really, it depends where you get it I suppose, but it merely feel like a light sunburn once it's done. Whilst it's being done you hardly feel anything."

"Oh, I plan on using all the hot water. Now don't expect me out of here for hours." "Ah well let's just see, my feet won't get washed if there's no hot water left." Sumnor walked back into the living room, kicking his boots into the hall cupboard as he went by, before sitting next to Dryac on the couch. "So, some music perhaps? We are both irish and in Ireland after all." "I can't see why not, there's nobody here to take offence to the tones of the Murphys, after all."

He stood, walking over to the Stereo and putting in a disk, before turning the volume up and playing the State Of M*censored*achusetts pretty loud, the irish guitar as an intro a melody to his ears, relieving msot of his stress. "Now that's better." Dryac sat back, swaying his head from left to right, allowing the music to bring back good memories of several bar fights he had won.

"What can I wear?" Sumnor turned quickly as she spoke, smiling as he realised it was her, before giving a quick glance to Ryan, who was playing on the plush rug in the centre of the room, "There's my bag in the hall, see if some of my tighter shirt will be alright, they may still be baggy, but they may have to do until we can get to the shop... as for pants, just wear some of my jeans and roll the bottoms up a bit?"

Mildly interested in the music, Alix glanced down at Ryan as he played on the rug. She always wondered how children entertained themselves. Having never really played with another human child, Alix only remembered figments of her romping around with other wolf pups. It was still torture living as a human when her heart really was a wolf. "There's my bag in the hall," she glanced over her shoulder to see the pack resting against the wall by a table. "See if some of my tighter shirt will be alright, they may still be baggy, but they may have to do until we can get to the shop..." Wandering over to the bag, Alix started to rumage through it. "As for pants, just wear some of my jeans and roll the bottoms up a bit?"

With an unladylike snort Alix squeaked, "A bit?" Scrutinizing Sumnor from head to toe, she shook her head with a small smile playing with her lips. "I'm going to look like a girl playing dress up with her dad's cloths. You're like a good six inches taller than I am." Pulling out a black muscle shirt from the bag, Alix spied a pair of soft fabric, faded jeans. Grabbing them too, she dashed back to the bathroom where she changed.

"For once in my entire life I am actually looking forward to shopping," Alix grumbled as she walked back to the kitchen where the two men were still sitting, Ryan was still off in his own little world playing. Distracted by how cute he was, Alix almost fell on her face as one of the rolled up pant legs came undone. Mumbling about Sumnor being a giant, Alix knelt down to re-roll it. Though the shirt would have been tight fitting on Sumnor it was like a jersey on Alix, and she had to hold the waist of the pants so that they wouldn't fall down. Standing up again Alix walked with more attention on her feet, "Do you have a belt? I feel silly holding these pants up."

Sitting on one of the stools set around the main table, Alix felt her gaze wander over to Ryan again. Her mind created an odd day-dream of another child playing with the young boy, the other little one was a boy but he had fiery eyes and black hair. Blinking in surprise, Alix realized she had imagined Sumnor as a child. Staring blankly at Sumnor then Dryac, she wondered if either of them was intruding in her mind. Nibbling on her lower lip, Alix mused, "Don't humans have holidays? You know, where they give toys to their children. I think Ryan could use some trucks and legos and other boy toys. Could we buy some tomorrow when we go shopping for cloths?" Alix noted that she was really relaxed. She had never been this relaxed before. She was talking about normal things with a child in the other room and she wasn't in a cold sweat. This realization brought tension back, though, yet Alix knew that she would relax again soon enough. How odd. Is this what it feels like to be in a...family? Cocking her head in a very canine gesture, Alix felt a flutter in her chest as the thought made her warm and happy. A family.
