I had my eyes wide open, but I couldn't see a thing.

I heard everything around me, but I wasn't listening.

I was blind to the world, 'Fore I opened my eyes.

And I saw there's more to everything around me, than I ever realized.

There's more to seeing, than opening your eyes.

More to leaving, than saying goodbye.

More to living, than being alive.

Much more to everything, than we ever realize.

There's more to listening, than simply hearing.

There's more to terror, than simply fearing.

There's more to pain, than being hurt.

And more to love, than getting burnt.

There's more to seeing, than opening your eyes.

More to leaving, than saying goodbye.

More to living, than being alive.

Much more to everything, than we ever realize.

There's more to me than what first appears,

More to personality than likings and fears.

More to you than what I know,

Too much to anything to just let it go.

There's more to seeing than opining your eyes,

More to leaving than saying goodbye,

More to living, than being alive,

Much more to everything than we ever realize.

Woah oh, Much more to everything.

Than we ever.

Realize.

Mmmmmm, yeah.

Okies, so. Asides from the song above. Two teenage kids, born on different sides of the world, both move to the same small town. Normal enough, except they have the Sight. They can see people-as well as things-they shouldn't be able to. I shall post up a few of the 'things' they can see soon, feel free to make suggestions. The 'people' they see are really people who have passed on. So, they have to both put up with the horrors of normal highschool, and the almost as horrifying horrors of the Sight, without anyone finding out. Hell, they may bot even know each other have the Sight for a little while, if you like drama.

So. All I ask is that you be semi-lit to lit, have good grammar and punctuation, and be active. Punctuation, like comma marks, exclamation marks, full stops and such, really gets to me. I hate bad punctuation. So, yeah, go on, I don't bite. Much.

Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

[[Hehe, I know all about Avalia. No personality required. And ghosts, spirits, occasionally demons, angels sometimes, anything, really. Faeries even, if you're in the mood for them.]]

Name- Mukura

Age- 14

Gender- Male.

Appearance-

Personality- Mukura is very shy, and likes to keep to himself. He's pretty clever, but only when it comes to animals and plants. With anything else, he's lost. He's lived in an orphanage his whole life, so has a lot of street smarts. He has adoptive parents now, but hasn't really come to like, or trust, them much.

Mukura wandered aimlessly along the forest on the edge of town. He had moved here about two days ago, and was already sick of his house. His new parents were crap, and they argued all the time. Why they bothered to get a kid was beyond him. His silver eyes darted up to the foliage above him, the early morning light filtering through the trees onto him. Flicking a few locks of hair from in front of his face, both white and black, he wandered over to a tree and leaned against it, his scruffy brown shirt catching on the rough bark. He kicked some of the winter dirt beneath his feet, ignoring the ice coldness he felt. He couldn't be bothered to go home and get a jacket.
He heard a slight moan, and looked up. ''Not this again...'' he groaned, his voice still not broken and childish. A young man stood there, with slicked back, black hair and a neat and tidy suit. He was normal, save for the translucent tone of his body, and the fact he had a knife in his chest.
''My Song... my Song... have you seen my Song?'' The man asked, his eyes going wide. Mukura just dtared forward again, trying to act like he couldn't see the man. ''I know you see me, child! Where is my Song? Where is she?'' The man was frantic now, and ran up to Mukura, attempting to shake his arm. The man wasn't solid enough to do anything, save for make Mukura even colder.
''I don't even know who Song is. Go away.'' When the man started babbling on some more about how happy he was to finally find someone who could see him, Mukura gave up and stood straight, before heading back along the trail. He did his best to ignore the babbling of the man, still stood where Mukura had been moments before, as it trailed off into silence.

Avalia glanced arouund, holding her school books under her arm. She was ready for school and as long as- The thought trailed off as she watched a young, sad, woman reaching for a cat in the tree. For a moment, she was going to help them, until she realized that there were gunwounds in both the cat and the lady. She turned and walked straight through a man shouting about songs and down the wooded trail she had been following. She passed a boy who looked to be just a bit younger than him, but brushed ast him and disregarded him.

There was no point in talking, Avalia knew she would be leaving this dreadful town soon. It was dreary and as soon as her dad finished the book he was writing, they would be on the road again, looking for the next great inspiration for his book. This new school that she was going to would be temporary. She wouldn't stay and she knew it...

Tilting his head slightly as he saw someone who looked solid, he thought about it. Well, what was she doing out this early? School didn't start for another hour, if not more. Considering heading back to his house and getting his books, he disregarded the idea and decided he would get them later. Instead, he followed behind the girl for a moment, before getting bored and climbing the trees. Running along the thick upper branches of the trees, Mukura ran for a few moments before dropping down to the ground. He was a few feet in front of the girl now, and wandered down to the river in the opposite direction. Despite the cold winter air, he sat on a rather large rock, with his feet dangling into the water.

Avalia sighed and took a quick turn into the area where there was a long river. The faded ghost of an indian looked her direction, but she ignored his gaze, not even bothering to acknowledge his existence, for, he did not technically exist. It wasn't that she was aloof, but being able to see and speak to spirits was not something she was proud of. She pulled off her clothes to reveal a black wetsuit underneath. She slid into the freezing cold water and the rocks scraped against her feet, fishes swimming around her toes.

"Aaaahhh.." she thought to herself, wading into the deeper waters where she could swim freely. She watched many long dead girls and boys float past her, their skin blue and their mouths open in a silent scream. Shuddering, she attempted to ignore them as she swam across the wide pool in the forest. Technically, she had zero period, but she didn't want it because it was p.e. And besides, her teacher didn't care. They never did and it was quite strange.

After doing a few laps, she got out, her skin riddled with pale scars and strange red and purple blotches from the cold. Retreiving a towel from the 'book' bag, she dried herself off and changed, taking off the wetsuit entirely to put back on her clothes. Now fully clothed, and unaware of the peeping tom in the trees or thinking he was a ghost, she retrieved her fallen books and contnued on her way to school. She suddenly realized she had missed the entire zero period and shook her head. It didn't matter...

[[He's not a peeping tom.>.< He was busy acting like a four year old and playing with the froggies. xD]]

Mukura saw a small, green, slimey creature, and held out his hand to it. When it hopped away, he chased it, and eventually caught it. After about ten minutes of torturing the poor thing, he got bored, and headed in the opposite direction to where the girl had gone, home.
Heading back to school, now with a bag on his back, he heard a noise behind him again. Turning his head slightly, he saw a small child. She had blue lips, and her skin was deathly pale. ''Can you tell me where my mother is?'' He heard her ask. Not wanting a debate, he told her he didn't know, before walking back along the trail that led from his houe to the school, wondering who that other girl he'd seen was. She didn't look very much like a ghost to him, anyway. What class did he have first? Well, he had a free first thing which he'd skipped entirely, and music after that. Music could be fun, at times, although people often found his music too sad to listen too. He'd made his last teacher cry.

((I know, but I was kidding XD))

She brushed her hair before entering the building where she had english for her first period class. She had her schedule memorized and knew exactly who her teacher was and what room they were in. Unfortunately, her class got dissolved and turned into a freshman english class meaning that she was now in a new one, first period and she wasn't sure she liked the new teacher. She just wasn't the same.

When class ended after about an hour, Avalia found herself wandering off towards the music building, past a creepy face ghost peering at her and hanging from a ghastly faded rope from the cieling. Both the rope and the girl dissapeared when she stared at them for a few seconds and she shuddered at the horriblesuicide the girl must have committed. She pulled out her french horn and began to warm up, waiting for the conductor... and the rest of the class...

Mukura wandered into the music room. There was no one there, save for another student playing a french horn, so he went over to the piano and slid into the seat. He loved playing piano, even if he didn't do well with people watching him. The girl seemed to be busy with her instrument, so he decided it was safe for him to give the piano a go before the teacher came in. He thought up what he would play, and began playing effortlessly, his hands moving fluidly over the keys, giving way to sweet, harmonious music. He kept his eyes closed, as he always did, and his jaw slack and relaxed. He loved music. [Here is what he is playing~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTgK4bNjZxg ]

He eventually finished, fading off slowly, his face calm and placid as he opened his eyes. Silver discs flitted around the room, watching the things going on around him eagerly and in silence.

Child of the troubles.... I can play that... She thought to herself as the boy began to play. She came in when he started to do the slower part with a few notes of her own. They melded well with the piano part and when they finished, she was pleased and happy about what she had been able to do. She was about to say good job when the rest of the class and their teacher walked in,. The teacher glared at the two of them and folded her arms angrily. "Why are you in here!" she asked sharply.

"Ummm.... It's the band room?" Avalia answered timidly...

''And I have music now?'' Mukura added, sliding up from the seat to stand straight. He rolled his eyes at the idiot teacher, before heading for the back of class to sit down in the corner. There was no one in the final row, something he was glad of. He hated sitting next to people he didnt even know. And that girl, whatever her name was, was pretty good at the french horn. She had just joined in, and it sounded good. That was hard to come by. Slipping into the seat, he swung his bag to the floor, before taking out his books for this class. He doubted he'd need them, but better to have them out and ready than to have to rush when the teacher asked for them.
