Bane was resting on his hammock out in the garden behind his mansion. The garden was styled like a Japanese rock garden, which suited his tastes nicely. Today was one of the first days in a long while that Bane had actually been able to relax and he certainly needed it. Planning world domination with a dragon was not an easy task, especially one as impatient as the black dragon. Thankfully at the moment, the black dragon was sleeping, laying motionless about 20 meters away. Sleeping, the black dragon looked more like a large statue. Bane frowned, according to the black dragon, he was still only half of his full adult size. Even on a giant estate over a mile away from the city, it was still becoming difficult to hide him. Bane sighed and closed his eyes, resting his hands on his stomach. He could worry about that later.

Kai-lan sat upon her family's backyard swinging bench when she saw a fox and a deer running. She smiled and got up to chase after the two creatures, but then halted when she saw what looked like a moldy stone about four times the size of a baseball. She casually walked up to it and picked the ob
ject up. She nodded as it began to shine softly, believing that the "stone" was probably something like a cross between an emerald and an incredibly shiny stone she could only find in rivers that had various cracks and bumps for the "mold" to grip on to.

Kai-lan walked up the stairs and on to her family's porch and went inside to go into her room. She placed the "stone" upon the hard wood floor and watched as it began to break- tear in fact. Gasping as a little green dragon tore out of the ob
ject, she slowly wobbled her hand over to her metal broomstick in case if the creature would attack. She stared at the tiny little dragon's claws carefully dug into the wooden floor as it stumbled up to her.

His father came home earlier than expected. He went into the house looking for Aaron but could not find him. He starts screaming his name so loud that the whole country could probably hear.

Aaron comes up from behind the house, not having time to hide Syuin. "I'm right here father." he says calmly.

"Where were you! What were you doing behind the house?" his dad asks, but before Aaron can reply he goes storming off to look behind the house. He almost faints when he sees the baby dragon curled up, asleep. "What is this doing here?" he screams

"Um. . ." Aaron stops to think of an excusse but comes up empty

"Out of the house! I don't want to see you or that thing ever again! Do you understand me? Never again." his dad yells, "I can't believe you did something so stupid that I have to disown you." 

Aaron picks Syuin up and holds her like a baby and goes back into the house. There he grabbs all the food he can and some blankes and runs out of his house. He walks down the street with all of his supplies wondering were he will live.

Kai-lan smiled as the tiny dragon sniffed her toes- giggled, even- that is, until the hatchling began to lick her. Both creatures shrieked in pain as little lines began to creep up the human and slowly smoke. Kai-lan uneasily watched the dragon run under her bed as her mother walked in with a gun in her hand.

"What is it?" the mother asked in worry and then looked at the egg shell bits on the floor and the small markings upon her daughter. She then noticed scratches on the floor that went underneath Kai-lan's bed.

"A dragon," Kai-lan squeaked uneasily as rivers ran out of her eyes and pointed underneath the bed.

"Dragons are myths, Kai-lan," her mother sighed as she crawled up to her bed. She then screamed in terror at the sight of the dragon.

ooc: The only reason Dusk has markings is because she can speak to the dragons because she is mute. I didn't think any of the other had any. 0_o
