Yes I am. Sorry I was gone. Having a two year old takes away some of my time. But I still get on plenty since he goes to his nana's twice a week and he naps quite a lot.

It's a hard thing I am doing. I am only 17. I'm barely out of highschool. And it's scary. Really scary. I'm afraid he won't come back or he won't be the same when he does.

Biologically, David isn't mine. He just recently became "my" son. Shane and I got married on his last leave. It was a spur of the moment thing, but it was still amazing. We plan to have a real wedding when this deployment is done. So David became my son 3 months ago. I'm the only mother David will ever know though. His real mom didn't want him. Shane did. And I do. Oh and Lady, thanks. I don't really have people to talk to so it would be nice to finally have someone when I need someone. |

Of course! I'm kinda going through the same thing, though I'm not nearly as young and we don't have kid. Josh going to basic will be the first time we have been seperated in 3 years, so I can empathise with you on missing your hubby and sympathise on being alone to take care of the baby. It's an amazing thing you're doing, raising him though. You should be proud!
