Anyways, you guys could of just started without me. *Works on intros*

“Beware betrayal within?” Storm whispered to herself after just waking up from a bleary sleep. She hadn’t slept well, and her dreams brought messages from the Tribe of Endless Hunting, warning her of some form of betrayal, but like always, she was left with a cliffhanger, still uncertain of what the Tribe of Endless Hunting was actually trying to tell her. She was left with an ominous feeling in her gut. Getting up onto her feet, she stretched her legs and prepared for the day ahead. The dim rays of sun poking in through the holes in the top of the cave burned her eyes, having been so used to the thick darkness from the night before. She growled, still contemplating the different thoughts whizzing through her mind. Despite her jumping thoughts, one thing was for certain; she would not tolerate being back-stabbed, even if the one bearing the knife was herself.

Outside, of the cave that Storm was currently residing, a larger cave housed the rest of the cats that were part of the Tribe of Shining Moonlight. For centuries, the cave had been a sacred camp for the tribe of cats and it would continue that way for a long time. The cave was a large opening in a small series of tunnels that started at the mouth of the cave. It was actually rather easy to maneuver through for the tunnels were large and one needed only to follow the fresh scent of water and fresh-kill to get to the Tribe’s camp. Outside of the cave was a large plateau. Not far from the front of the cave was a large lake which reflected the face of the moon on clear nights, the meaning behind the tribe’s name. Farther out was a bare strip of land which the cats called “Bareland”.

Inside the cave, the cats were beginning to stir. “So, Shadow, where do you guys plan on hunting today? By the Barelands, maybe? I heard there’s been a lot of hawks down by there,” a large spotted tom was speaking to a smaller, rather skinny cat, Shadow. Their fur might have been nearly identical if Shadow’s were brown rather than white. “I’m not sure, yet, Fang, and frankly, I’d rather let the others decide,” Shadow mumbled, staring out into the forest as the sun began to appear from behind the tree line.
“Hm, you never put yourself out there, never speak your mind,” Fang concluded and they both padded back through the small tunnel and into the larger cave. They both padded toward the side of the cave and sat down beside a black cat.
“Hey, Omen,” Fang mewed.
“Hi Fang, hi Shadow.” Omen replied, her blind stare flicked over the two as if she could see them perfectly.
Shadow nodded, and Omen’s ear twitched having sensed the movement.
“So, are you ready for another long day?” Fang spoke up again, his tail sweeping over the ground before lying flat again against his leg.
“I guess, though a bit more time to sleep wouldn’t do any harm,” Omen replied.
“Ah, well, it’s the prey-hunters that do most of the work,” Fang said, giving Shadow a friendly nudge with his head.
Shadow just huffed slightly. Anyone who knew Shadow knew that he gave little to no response to anything.
Fang turned back to Omen, “I hear Whisper is going out with the hunting group today,” he said, “There’s also been rumors that sh-” he quickly silenced himself when he noticed a familiar shadow coming their way.
“Hello, Whisper,” Omen dipped her head.
“Good morning,” she acknowledged them all with a friendly dip of her head before disappearing to into the shadows of the tunnel, out to guard the cave.
“What were you saying?” Shadow questioned, having not forgotten what Fang was about to say.
“Err, nothing, I’ll tell you guys later. Anyways, I think I‘ll just join Whisper, after all, I am a cave guard.” Fang said quickly before following Whisper‘s pawsteps. Shadow narrowed his eyes but said nothing. He began to gaze around the cave, and he noticed Oak sitting with Wind and Wolf. It wouldn’t be long until the rest of the tribe woke up and the day’s work would begin.

I'm not sure if my post makes much sense, also. Eheheh.

Whisper glanced at Wing through the corner of her eye. “What’s up with you?’ she growled lightly with almost an airy tone.  “I hope you’re not fussing over having to sit here, guarding the Tribe.” she added as she lied down and gazed out into the forest.

Omen stood up it was time to take her post outside of the cave. Shadow and Fang followed her through the tunnel. “Alright, I’m expecting a lot of fresh kill when you guys get back!” Omen called over her shoulder as she scampered away. She was used to the area and she could maneuver easily through the woods. She stopped not far off from the cave, she never strayed far, but she was far enough to smell coming danger and alert the tribe quickly. She set down for the day, aware that she would be able to move closer or farther from the Tribe when she wanted, as long as she was doing her job.

Back inside the cave Wind was resting against the walls. She had smeared her thick pelt with mud to conceal her white fur. When she was a kit, Storm had decided she would be a prey-hunter. She headed outside and noticed Hawk sitting in the spot she was mostly seen in. Padding towards her, Wind called out a greeting.

Wolf padded out of the cave, following Wind. Wolf was also said to be  prey-hunter. His thick fur hid his skinny build, yet Storm was able to decide on a good rank to give him. He glanced around the clearing and padded out towards the lake. At night it would reflect the moon in its center. He peered into the water, tiny fish could be seen swimming in circles, darting here and there.

Oak was resting on her side in the middle of her bed made of moss. It wouldn’t be long until the kits inside her stomach would be born. She couldn’t conceal a grin at the thought of having kits of her own and she was sure they would be a good addition to the Tribe. Flipping onto her stomach and resting her head on her paws, Oak studied the cats as they began heading out to do their daily tasks.

“How can you be so sure?” Whisper growled under her breath, “Besides, you are best suited to be a Cave-guard. It’s an honor because not every cat is up to the task.” she finished and padded away towards Shadow, nodding to Stone as she p*censored*ed.

Fang saw Whisper coming over. “I guess I’d better go back to guarding the cave.” he said. He trotted towards the other cave guards, flicking his tail at Whisper in a friendly greeting. Taking his spot beside the other Cave-guards, Fang began to groom his fur lightly, keeping one eye on the forest.

“Hello, Whisper,” Shadow said as he saw the leopard-pelted cat.
“Hi, Shadow,” Whisper meowed, “I think we should take the other to-bes out hunting with us. And I think Wing should come, also, he doesn’t seem satisfied just sitting at the foot of the cave all day.”
“Good idea, there should be a cave-guard to accompany a hunting party.” Shadow agreed.
“Yeah,” Whisper said as she headed towards the to-bes. “Wolf, Wind, Hawk!” she called, “You guys up for some hunting?”

“I’m great, you?” Wind replied, sitting down. She turned and saw Whisper calling to them. “Hey, that sounds fun! Let’s go.”
