ehm. What if human non-shifters are trying to catch shifters because they are stronger than normal pokemon, and our peeps are either trying to run away/keep hidden or adjusting to being caught?

Well, I've been running the idea through my head and I've got one basic story line for it so far. How this sound:
Since the dawning of time Pokemon have existed. Since we humans have come along, we've been researching these wondrous creatures.
We've found out a lot about them. Their different types, personalities, colors, etc.
But there is a strange phenomenon that has started happening. Some Pokemon are being born with the ability to shape-shift... One second you could be looking at a Pokemon and should you look away for a second, a human could be standing in it's place when you look back.
We have not been able to figure out when this first began happening... but we have noticed that these "shifter" Pokemon are remarkably stronger than the regular Pokemon.
As we collect information on these rare beings, we've noticed they are getting harder to find. It seems Pokemon trainers and vilanous Pokemon "teams" have began pursuring these special Pokemon to harness their powers and become stronger than the rest.
The rise in attempted captures of these creatures has forced them into hiding.
The shifters that have already been caught are either some sort of tool in a "take over the world" scheme or used as a battle item in Pokemon battles between trainers.
Now I ask you, trainer... will you seek these unique beings for your own benefit, or seek them out to befriend them and explain to others that they're not just tools? Or do you have something else in mind for them? The choice is yours... |

BlueJay- Thanks. XD When I get a basic Idea, I've gotten pretty good at expanding on it. ^_^
RabbitWings- Trainers or the shifters. Either or.
Before I go and make the thread, are there any particular rules you want me to include?
These are the ones I usually use:
One paragraph (5-8 sentences) per post is preferred.
Please do not join then never post. It slows down the rp, messes
everyone else up, makes me loose track of characters, and just makes the
thread look sloppy.
Romance is encouraged. ESPECIALLY SAME GENDER COUPLES. I highly support
gay, bi, lesbian, transgender, pansexual, etc. characters. If you don't
like it, don't join or join with characters that like the opposite
gender; it's not that hard.
Along with the romance, you are not allowed to have your own characters
dating or crushing on each other. Also, no instant couples. I don't care
about instant crushes, but relationships take time to develop.
Please be respectful when talking to each other in OOC.
Please use a larger font when posting here. I'm going blind, so it is
difficult for me to read the small font I've seen a few people post in.
It is also hard for me to read the lighter colors since the background
here is white...
Size 3 is the smallest size that is easy for me to read.
If you have an explicit scene, fade to black, time skip... or take it over P.M...
When adding to your characters; please do not repost your bios.
Simply edit the post you already posted, add the character or
characters to it and tell me you added another character or characters
to your post. You can tell me about your edit via P.M or OOC.
NO SOLID OOC POSTS! I do not want to see any pure OOC posts here on this
thread. It simply creates spam and spam creates clutter. Clutter
creates a messy thread and a messy thread just means more work for me to
keep the thread up to date.
The only exception to that is a "bump" when needed or a mini-mod/myself correction a bio and have nothing to do with our characters.
Please do not post your introduction before your character is accepted.
If you'd like to join, simply post your bio. You do not have to ask...
in fact I'd prefer it if you did not ask.. unless you're asking me over
P.M.
Everyone gets three warnings. After breaking the rules three times, you will be kicked from the rp.
I don't care how many characters you join with, just keep them all active.
To make sure you read through everything, please put your favorite rule(s) at the bottom of your bios post.

The only rule that bothers me is the sizing rule, specifically because I have no power over the size when I'm using my phone (like I am now). :x
Are we going to have to have our bios approved (and do we even need them)? I mean, it will only be the three of us, so it's not like someone can deny someone else.
And for the 'prefered' amount of writing per post, can we do more than just one paragraph?

If you have no control over the font size; it's OK. I'm going blind, so I prefer people to use a larger font size... but I also understand when someone cannot do that.
As for bios; there will be room for more people to join, so yes you will have to have them approved. Which really doesn't take much to be honest.
More than one paragraph is great! That's what I hope to see more of. I set the minimum amount at one paragraph because some people have trouble going over that...
BobisBob- If you'd like to do a pokemon rp as well but have it set in a high school, we can come up with a different plot... since the one BlueJay, RabbitWings and myself came up with seems more like an "out in the open" kind of rp.
