{ I don't have time to reply... but, my version of 'werewolves', as in this roleplay, would really be... }

{ There are two sorts of Werewolves. Those who are born to werewolf parents, and those who are bitten and infected. WerewolfxHuman hybrids are unknown of, because the human DNA counteracts the wolf. Therefore none are able to shift.

Born werewolves are less vicious and have more of a tendancy to be able to control their moods better. Bitten werewolves are savage and it takes years to try and contain them. Born wolves can control the speed at which they age. Bitten wolves do not age at all and are unable to reproduce with any species.

Males, naturally, are more likely to attack than females and are much larger. Each wolf has a pattern and color unique to each one.

Anger, or any other activity that raises the heart beat, can trigger an 'attack', whereas the werewolf's cells mutate instantly, and they shift from humanoid to their 'true forms', the wolf.

Moonlight can also trigger this, but only if it is extremely strong, like that of the full moon. Anything less will do nothing but irritate the werewolf in question.

Werewolves are sensitive to silver, the only substance found that can successfully kill them. They heal extremely quickly, wounds that could have been fatal disappearing within an hour. 

Werewolves live in packs, though it is not unheard of that a wolf travels alone. }

{ Oliver is a born werewolf... but his father was human so he didn't aquire the ability to shift until he was bitten! He doesn't age, but he can have kids. ;3 }

Discreetly, Nikki couldn't help but be overly satisfied with the answer he had given her. But, she shouldn't be, right? Did she establish to herself that she wasn't turned on by him? Or, did she finally admit it to herself?

She frowned and shook the millions of thoughts that scattered her brain around. She would never think of him like that, because he didn't think anything like that about her. He just irritated her by forcing her to feel that way. Decieving was the better word. She did a deep sigh, trying not to be so relished by knowing he'd be back.

She chuckled at his stomach, but before she could somehow respond, she saw - for the first time - him blush. What was going on here? They both were being out of charactar lately.

While not even trying to hold in a gasp, she stared at the scenery in front of her.

"Wow..." She muttered to herself, while looking. Having her breath also swirl around her. Usually she'd look at her breath in awe, but right now the scene in front of her was too breath taking to take her eyes away. "This..Is your home?" She asked, her jaw opening in shock. "It really is beautiful." She couldn't think of a better word; too speechless.

{ She fell down the stairs at work. }
{ She's alright now though. }

"I live a little ways down the bank... but yes, essentially, this is my home." Oliver said, detaching himself from her side to move towards the willow tree. Pressing one hand against the cool bark, he looked back at her through the hair that had fallen in front of his eyes.

"You really like it?" he asked, voice echoeing eerily. It sounded calm and serene, matching the mood. He could hear the waves splash up against the shore quietly, the tide pulling in and out slowly. Oliver loved the place more than himself, and just watching the water made his heart slow and his breath catch in his chest.

Eyes searching her's, he waved her over to his tree with a small smile. "You should see the view from up here. Come on." Oliver pointed to the branches above him.

When Oliver left her side, was just when Nikki realized that he was holding her shoulder before. The random cold that came to where his warm hand used to be made her shiver, but she tried to not show it. She stared off at the waves for a moment, before looking back at Oliver. Ignoring her heart thump a little more when he looked back at her, she said with a slight chuckle,

"Yeah. I do. It's breath taking...literally." At his request to come over, she did with no reluctance. "But...I'm not the best with heights." She put her hand behind her kneck, and could already feel quizziness (omg me=horrible speller?) making her stomach turn. "I felt like I was going to vomit, just jumping off my window." She said that last part with a nervous chuckle by looking back at the branches. She already could imagine how the view would look. But, her fear would of course make her look stupid in front of him once again.

Oliver offered a hand to her, tilting his head slightly to the side as if it would help him read her ex
pression better. "I won't let you fall... promise." Smiling, though the ex
pression was bittersweet and sickening in its own way, he stared at her meaningfully. "Come on, take my hand... I'll help you up."

He didn't comment on her fear of hieghts; he didn't really care, in all honesty, but thought it would be better to pick silent over teasing her about it. That wouldn't get him anywhere, now would it? Oliver waited patiently for her delicate hand to slide into his, icy blue eyes careful not to betray what he was thinking. 

Oliver, threading his fingers through her's, pulled himself onto the lowest branch with one hand, smirking down at her as he gave her arm a small tug. "Come on... one branch at a time." Then, remembering how small and light she was, he realized he could easily lift her up.

So he did. Leaning over, and not asking for permission, Oliver released her hand, grabbed her under her armpits, and pulled her up so she was sitting beside him. "There. Now climb up as far as you want... I'll follow after you."

The spontaneous grabbing of her armpits made her have a small whispered protest escape her lips, after following a gasp of surprise. When she sat on one of the lowest branches, she reached her arm out to grab a large branch, then hesitantly brought herself up.
"Stay by me." She commanded nervously as she started up the tree.
He better not leave me...
She thought to herself as she looked down once to make sure he was under her, then started up the tree again, hesitantly with each branch. After a moment, a thought occured to her.
"Oliver? Do you know how sturdy these branches are?"
