Aaron walked briskly down the hallway. It was dark inside, making the hallway seem endless. Aaron reached the end, however and took a sharp left. He walked up to the cage and tapped the bars. "Rise and shine" he said in a mocking voice. "Time to get up. No slacking in this house. " Aaron tapped the bars again. 

Autumn let out a small yawn. She still was having a hard time seeing... But could for sure tell there was someone in here.... "I already am awake.."

Aaron snorted. "Then face me." He stared at the small girl in the cage. This was not the kind of servant he wanted, but she'll have to do. Of course, She would be in pain for the past few days. There were alot of tasks ahead

"I don't know where you are..." She shifted her position to the direction to where she thought the voice was coming from...

Aaron tapped his foot. He unlocked the cage in one swift movement and began to walk away, saying all the things that needed to be done. "You need to clean the kitchen and re paint the house. And dont expect me to go easy on you because your young and new." He said, his voice fading as he walked down the hall.  "Now hurry up..." He said.

Autumn crawled out of the cage and stood up... "Paint the house?? But I am so short... I have never even painted a fence..." She started walking in the direction where he had walked. She saw where he was walking, and she followed.

Aaron stopped walking. "This is your chance to learn then." He said, with a smirk. "Hurry. The other servants have jobs too." Aaron walked again. He turned and went up the stairs, arousing the other maids. "Hurry and get up!" He yelled. "You dont have all day. Im giving you five minutes to get up and  out of your rooms or ill double your duties!"

Autumn thought, wow... Don't want to make this dude mad... He seems like he is in a grumpy mood today... She followed up the steps. "But I am so short... How will I be able to reach certain parts of the house?"

"A ladder." Aaron said shortly. "theres one  somewhere. Find it yourself." He paused and shouted at the other servants again. "Get up you lazy oafs!" Then Aaron turned back to Autumn. "Find some paint to. and dont forget to clean the kitchen. There has been a rat problem lately too. I want you to take care of that also." Aaron twisted his head around and yelled again. " Up Up up! Im giving you 5 seconds!"  Aaron waited for the servants to line up. He assigned them jobs. He whispered to one servant, (Kasey) "Help out the new one. Shes gonna need it. I except more now, since your helping." 

"Did you say ladder? I am terrified of heights...." Autumn stood still in one spot... "And where would the paint be though? I don't even know my way around this place. I don't even know where the kitchen is." Autumn crossed her arms.... and let out a sigh. 

"Figure it out. And Get over that fear. It will just get in the way of your duties. And Kasey will be helping you today. Hurry up or you wont get dinner, or lunch today." Aaron was getting slightly annoyed by the new Servant. 

Autumn nodded her head when he told her to get over her fear.... "Who is Kasey?" She looked at all the servants, and was trying to figure out which one was Kasey... "I am sorry if I am asking so many questions, its just all so new... I'm so sorry!"

Aaron sighed and pointed to a servant. "There. now go. Before i make you clean the rat holes."

Autumn always hated the rats, so she walked to Kasey. Once she reached Kasey, she turned around and looked at Aaron, "Which should I do first? The kitchen or the painting?"

"Paint the house." Aaron sighed. He walked down to his room and sat down on his bed. Getting another terrible headache

Paige lay in her bed staring up at the blank cieling, "I ought to paint that some day." she muttered to herself as she kicked off her blankets and swung her legs over the side of the bed. She put on her usual clothes and ran a brush through her hair before walking down the marble stairs to the kitchen where the servants were already at work. The castel was new to her since she had just been moved here about a week ago because her father had practically sold her to this kingdom in order for her and the local prince the get married which would result in him gathering more land.
She rolled her eyes at the thought and covered her mouth as she let out a quiet yawn. She sat down at the large oak dining table that was adorn with silver plates and cups and spoons and forks and such. There was warm oat meal in a bowl at a few of the places which was where the king, Queen, the prince and her were to eat their meals. he pulled out a chair sitting down and picked up a jar of honey and drizzled a good amount over the top of her food before picking up a spoon and digging in. She could hear her mothers voice in the back of her head, "Sit up straight, take small bites, smile sweetly, and only talk when spoken too." but she also rolled her eyes at this.

Kasey noded to the Prince knowing better than to speak at all to him. He aprouched the new servant noding his head slightly in a greeting before walking with her out of the castel and into a small run down shack where he got out a ladder and a few buckets of paint, "I advise you not to talk as much around here, unless you are spoken too of course but even then just say a few words." He turned to the girl for a moment before gathering the ladder and one of the piant cans and walking up to the side of the castle. He set the ladder down and opened the can and began to paint.

Aaron's headache was getting worse. He bit his tongue to keep from crying out in pain. Aaron set his hand on his forehead. These headaches are getting worse and worse everyday. Maybe it was because when he was young, his dad would make him clean the bathroom with chemicals. Well, Whatever it was, he was suffering from it. Aaron clutched the side of his head and let out a strangled groan. Then, it stopped. Aaron let out a soft sigh, but stayed sprawled out on his bed. 

Autumn nodded her head, and picked up a paint brush. She began to paint the lower part of the castle. "How about you paint the tall parts that need to be reached on the ladder and I do the parts that don't need the ladder. Sound good? Good then its settled." Autumn continued painting the lower parts that didn't need a ladder.

Kasey shook his head, "Your going to be doing this whole thing alone soon enough so I think it's best if you do that part that equires a ladder." Kasey said as he set up the metal death trap on the side of the wall. He shifted towards the girl and waited for her to take a coupe steps onto the ladder while he held it steady for her.

"A 12 year old paint an entire castle? Alone? Get real." Autumn let out a small laugh. She then looked at him and noticed he wasn't kidding. "Oh... Your not kidding?? Then what the heck is wrong with that dude who told me to paint the castle?? Is he mental or something???"
