Cole ignored Ribunny's last question. "Cole and Ribunny, got it. I don't know about the pets though, so you should ask Inna. She has some kind of pet bird in her tent, I think. You'll have to go to her anyways, to be as.signed a weapon, so you might as well ask," Jackson said. Since Cole was a bit scared that Jackson might zap him if he didn't listen, he trudged off towards Inna, who was currently teaching a few guys with swords.

Ribunny followed Cole.  There wasn't really much else to do.  She waved goodbye to Jackson then ran up to Inna, not seeming to notice that she was teaching people.  "Hiya!"  She said happily.  "I'm Ribunny!  And you're Inna!  I need to ask you a question."  She paused for a second to catch her breath, "If a pet that you had on Earth was touching you when you were being teleported here, would they like.. come here too?"

As Inna jerked her head towards Ribunny and Cole, the student she was doing a demonstration on managed to disarm her and knock her down. If she wasn't wearing a chestplate, she would've been dead by now. She turned her attention to the student for a while and gave him a thumbs up. Inna stood up, brushed herself off, and asked, "What's up?" Then she seemed to notice Ribunny's question for the first time. "Oh, and yes. Animals are tricky, though. They get transported into the woods. They might have been turned into mythological creature, though. My pet bird got turned into a pheonix. She only turns people to stone if I let her, though. And she breathes fire." She took a breath. "I haven't seen you two around before, so lets see what you're good at." Inna turned to the students and yelled, "CL*censored* DISSMISSED!" She gestured for Ribbunny and Cole to follow her and walked towards what seemed like a battle arena.

 Ribunny nodded.  I wonder what Miles and Halley turned into?  She thought excitedly.  Miles and Halley were her pets, Miles was a male grey tabby cat, while Halley was a female german shepherd pitbull mix.  She blinked, realizing she had zoned out again, then followed Inna to the place that seemed like a battle arena.  "Cool!"  She said, doing a little skip.

Cole didn't have any pets. He never wanted one, until now. He would love a pet pheonix. Maybe you could find one in the woods somewhere, but he should think about that later. He turned his attention to the arena he was in, and the only thing that he could've said was whoa. It was beautiful, with glittering weapons, and indoor river, and a few moving practice dummies. "This is the practice area for newcomers. Those weapons over there are for battle. They're made out of Stygian ice, and they can cut five times better than any other steel weapon. The river over there is for the people who can manipulate water to practice on." She walked over and drew a sword from a box in the corner and handed it to Cole. "I'll test out your sword skills first. You," She pointed to Ribunny. "You go grab a bow and arrow. Start shooting the targets over there. I'll check your progress every so often. I'll be watching Cole first." Cole wondered how she knew his name, but he just *censored*umed they might've mentioned it. He walked over to a dummy and slashed at it, the the dummy ducked and picked up a sword. Cole didn't know how the people here were able to build such high-tech robots, so he just decided to ask Inna later. Right now he was occupied with the robot.

"Woo-hoo!  Bows and arrows are awesome!"  Ribunny said happily and picked them up.  "Wow... " She said, her eyes seeming to sparkle.  "I'll call you Shooter."  She said, stroking the bow.  ((Yes she nicknamed her bow xD  deal with it xD))  She then took aim at the targets, and hit them all dead-center.  "I'm pretty good at this."  She said, smiling at herself.  Then she took aim at the moving targets, and shot at them, she missed a few times.  Then she realized that she should aim where they would end up, not where they were.  So she tried out that technique, and it worked pretty well.

Cole was quite proud of himself.

He had slashed up four of the dummy-robots already, and was working on his fifth one. Inna said that he was a natural and he might even make her sword cl*censored*. He was on his own now, as Inna was watching over Ribunny now. Ribunny was shooting at the moving targets, and Inna was adjusting her bow a little bit and telling her how to timeit properly.

Ribunny nodded at what ever Inna told her to do and shot at the targets a few more times.  Getting most of them perfectly in the middle.  "Can I look for Halley and Miles... my pets now?"  Ribunny asked anxiously.  "I really want to find them before something bad happens to them."

Inna thought for a while. "Mmmm..yeah. You're already good enough, so yeah. We wouldn't want any dark creatures finding them, would we now?" Inna asked. "But be back by sundown. Nighttime is the time when dark creatures are strongest. I'll go check up on Cole now, 'kay?" Before Ribunny could answer, Inna turned and started walking towards Cole.

Ribunny smiled and ran into the forest as fast as she could.  She didn't want to waste any time.  Then she realized something may hear her so she slowed down a little.  She looked around the forest, "Miles!  Halley!  Where are you?"  She called out loudly, defeating the purpose of her slowing down.  She heard something rustle in the bushes, and a huge saber toothed tiger jumped out, roaring.  "What the fwa?!"  She took out Shooter and took aim, but she stopped when the saber tooth started to purr.  She realized it wasn't even roaring, that's just how loud it's purr was.  "Miles?!"  She exclaimed, the purring became louder.  She went over to her, now huge, tabby cat and started to stroke him, she realized he had all of the same markings as he had before, except he was bigger, and had huge teeth, and was a saber toothed tiger.  "Have you seen Halley?"  She asked him, realizing it was kinda stupid to talk to him, she was amazed when he shook his head.  "Wow."  Was all she could say.  Miles looked up at the sky and make a quiet meowing sound, and Ribunny looked to see that the sun was setting.  "Already?"  She whispered.  "I guess more time pas.sed then I thought.  Miles bent down, as if to tell Ribunny to get on, and Ribunny obeyed, and Miles ran off, and in no time they were at the camp.  "I found Miles!"  Ribunny yelled out, "I can't seem to find Halley though."

Oh, I might've forgotten to mention Inna can read minds. xDD))

Inna frowned when she heard the news. Ribunny had found her cat, but her dog was still missing. She knew that he had a slim chance of surviving, but she couldn't bring herself to say that. Instead, she just faked a smile and said, "You'll find your dog soon enough. I'll let you off your morning training early to search. Come on, the bonfires starting. Cole is already there." She put her arm around Ribunny and steered her away from the forest and towards the bonfire. There was a wooden stage behind the fire, which was glowing a strange shade on pale green. Inna led Ribunny up the stage, next to Cole. Jackson gave a lecture about how nobody died searching for dark creatures today, we all did a good job, blah blah blah. He finally introduced Cole and Ribunny, and told everyone about what their powers were and so on((Inna probably told him)), then they all got off the stage to eat dinner. 

((Aw man D8  The thing just told me access denied, and now I have to write out the post again :x I'm just checking right now to see if it'll work so I don't waste my time again.  I'll edit it if it works.

Ribunny sat and ate dinner.  Miles, who had transformed back into his normal self so he could relax on Ribunny's lap purred contently.  Suddenly, a loud screeching sound echoed around the camp.  "I KNEW YOU WERE COMING!"  It screeched, Ribunny hugged Miles close, and Miles' fur bristled in all directions.  "What is that?!"  Ribunny exclaimed.  "PUNY MORTAL, I AM RAINSTORM, THE WITCH WOLF."  "Witch wolf?"  Ribunny murmured, confused.

Cole was just as confused as Ribunny was. "Witch wolf? Want kind of monster is that?" He grabbed his new Stygian ice sword that Inna had given him before he left. He jumped off the bench and tried to slash at the wolf, the she knock it out of his hand.

Rainstorm, the witch wolf, muttered a teleportation spell and teleported to on top of a tree.  "WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS, MORTAL?!"  She roared, "I AM A WOLF AND A WITCH, WHICH MEANS I KNOW SPELLS!"  She smiled dementedly at the mortals below her.  "Now that I know you all are here, I will tell Saint!"  Her dark blue fur (Yes her dark blue fur >8u  She has epically odd coloration <3)  seemed to glow eerily in the moonlight.

Luckily, Inna came to the rescue. Sort of. Okay, not really.

She brought some guy with her, and he seemed to know some spells on his own. Inna had found a rifle and attempted to shoot Rainstorm, but she didn't exactly operate it correctly and nothing happened. The guy chanted a few words, but before he could finish Rainstorm used a teleportation spell and dissapeared. Jackson, who was next to Inna, staring at Rainstormturned around. "We have to leave," He said. "Now. We'll split up into three groups. I'll lead the first one. Inna will lead the second one. Drew will take care of the third one. Now, hurry before they come! Drew will put an invisibility spell on us before we leave, but it won't last long. If you find a safe place for new camp, make a wave, build a fire, just send a signal!" Cole supposed Drew was a magician, because he took out a bag, muttered a spell, and everything that was in the (former) base camp up like a vacuum.

Rainstorm howled loudly.  "You'll never escape!"  She howled then teleported again, this time back to the castle.  "Saint my lord!"  She said, bowing to him, "I have found the mortal camp, but they are splitting up, we must hunt them before they can regroup!"  She looked up to see Saint, who had shifted into a tiger, padding over to her.  "You serve me well Rainstorm."  He said, then turned to all his minions, "You heard her!  MOVE!"  All of the shadow creatures nodded and ran out of the castle to find the mortals.  He swiped at a chipmunk who had tripped and turned it to stone for fun.  "Rainstorm, you will be with me."  Rainstorm nodded and they both ran out of the castle, Saint shifting into a dragon and picking Rainstorm up and putting her onto his back.

"Where do me and Miles go?"  Ribunny asked Inna, not using proper english, like she usually did.  Miles padded up next to her, back in his saber toothed tiger form and nuzzled Ribunny, who stroked his head, "It's okay Miles."  She said, even though she didn't feel like it was okay herself.

"You, Miles, Cole, and a few others will be with me," I said. "I'll do my best to defend you. We'll need to move quickly. Saint and his minions must be searching for us this very instant." I pulled out a thin leather-bound book that drew gave me, and flipped it open. I stopped at one page with a feather as a bookmark. "This is a potion book Drew gave me. He found a potion in it that can reunite a soul to it's body again, if you use it correctly. It consist of very rare ingrdients, though, and so far all we've got is a feather from a pheonix. We've been saving it to bring back Shimmer for years. One of the ingredients is the tooth of a sabre-toothed tiger. Would Miles be kind enough to give us one of his teeth?" I stopped to take a breath. "It's our only chance. We've been defeated before. They can defeat us again, and it really doesn't help that we have less warriors now."

Ribunny looked at Miles.  "Can you Miles?"  She asked him.  Miles growled.  He didn't want to give up one of his teeth.  His teeth were very special to him, since he could use them for weapons.  But he knew that giving up one of his teeth would make Ribunny happy, so he sucked up his pride and nodded.  He padded up to Inna and opened his mouth, bracing himself for when she pulled one of the teeth out.

I couldn't bear hurt an innocent animal, so I decided to try a spell. Sadly, it didn't work. I guess only Drew was able to use magic, and his group had already left. I sucked up my pity and ended up pulling one of the teeth out. Yeah, apparently I did a good job or sabretooth tigers don't bleed or something, because his mouth was in perfect condition. I patted Miles' head and whispered, "Don't worry, your tooth will grow back soon." I turned towards the groub and shouted, "Time to go, we're already behind and the invisibility won't last. Get your weapons ready. kill any dark creature you find." I did my best taxicab whistle and my pet pheonix, who I named Siais, flew onto my arm. "I want you to turn any bad monster you find to stone. If that doesn't work, burn them to ashes," I said to her. With that my group and I marched off into the woods.

((The remaining two ingredients for the potion are the blood of a giant and the eye of a dark wolf, which I find gross.))
