"Cheaters never win!" Josh chimed in, happier now. "At least he's not pouting anymore," Zane whispered to Lexi so Josh wouldn't hear. "Gotta get my books," Josh said, walking away to his locker. Zane's locker was on his way to cla.ss, and he stopped to get his books before rejoining the group. "What cl*censored* are you guys in first?" Zane asked.

"I have History Honors, too," Zane said, smiling. He knew she was in that cl*censored*, but he'd needed somehting to talk about. "The teacher is crazy." Chuckling, Zane shook his head and , thinking back on all the times in History that the teacher had said somehting that didn't make much since.

"I dunno. I guess they're happy around you, and usually more comfortable. At least, that's how I usually am when I like someone. I guess it's different for everybody, though." Zane thought it might be a little risky telling her how he acted when he liked someone, maybe she'd be able to tell. He didn't want their friendship to get ruined if they got together and then something happened. He was about ready to just say "screw it" and tell her.

Zane kissed back, pulling Lexi closer. He was so happy that this was finally happening. It felt like a dream, kissing her. He finally pulled away, smiling. "So we're together now?" he said, keeping her close to him.

"We have to go to cla.ss. I don't want to, though." Zane muttered loud enough so only Lexi could hear. He was seriously considering if he could convince her to skip the rest of school with him. He was happy that they were together now, and he wanted to spend time with her out of school. ((He's not a perv, I swear.))

Zane followed happily, keeping stride with Lexi. "so what should we do?" he asked once they were outside. There's been no trouble ditching. Nobody at the school even cared, so it's been easy to just walk out.
