"Because. It's nice when my friends come to see me play." He said, smiling. He wondered why she was all uptight. Just then, a girl by the name of Kirena came out, looking for Antonio. "Antonio! They want you inside." He turned and followed the girl back into the building.

She smiled at what he said,Friend... but the corners of her lips curved downward as some random girl said to come inside. Doing a small wave, and glaring at the girl, she walked back, to the parking lot.

Antonio had been called in for a meeting backstage. "Ok guys. That was great! Start getting ready for the next concert, near halloween!" Though it was a few months away, he knew how essential it was to practice and put all the pieces together. He had to learn two news ones, and practive old ones, so he was glad for it being so far away. As he was leaving, Kirena came up to him and started walking with him. "Hey, Antonio. You were great out there." "Thanks. You were too." he contiued walking, not really thinking much of the conversation. But then Kirena stopped him. "There's something I wanted to ask you. Would you like to go out with me sometime?" the question caught Antonio completely off-guard. "Uh....I'll have to think about it." He told her, starting to walk quicker. She just told him alright and went on her way.

When Paradise finally found her car, she got inside and drove home. Feeling so much better, then when she got there. Even though that girl made her sort of suspicious. She tried to ignore that thought, as she walked up into her house. And right into bed.

After going home and getting a good night's sleep, Antonio awoke, took a hot shower and got ready for school. He knew he was wearing all black from the drawer he got the clothes out of, labeled in braille. He grabbed his things and walked to school, feeling mostly happy. He slid into homeroom just as the bell rang.

Paradise ran through the hallway, late again. Squeezing p*censored*ed people, that were skipping clas.s. Keeping her books in hand. Finally when she found the right clas.s. room she slipped in. And was about to sit with her other friends. Then saw ANtonio. Smiling, she went to him instead. "Hey." She said as she sat down next to him. Feeling much better from yesterday.

Antonio shifted in his chair when he heard Paradise's voice. "Hey. You seem happier today." She did, and it made him happy that she was finally cheery again. He still didn't know what was wrong in the first place, be he was glad it was solved.

Paradise smiled, and said, "Yeah..I am feeling much better then yesterday." Shrugging, she added, "It was kind of stupid really." Then smiled again. She found herself staring at him, and quickly looked away. Blushing.

Antonio chuckled, then asked "And what, may I ask, was so stupid?" Just then, Kirena came into the cla.ss, saying "Sorry I'm late, Mr. Hiyan." She took the seat on the other side of Antonio, then turned to him. "So, did you think on it?" He felt really uncomfortable, and said "Sorta. I don't know." He slumped into his seat, feeling all weird. Girls are so odd.

Paradise frowned at the girl, from last night. But knowing Paradise's outgoing, self, she tried to smile, and said, "Hi. I'm Paradise. I don't think I've met you yet. You are?" She didn't really care about the girls name. She just cared more about 'what Antonio was supposed to think about'.

Kirena looked over at Paradise and chuckled. "Not much competition at this school. I'm Kirena." She told her smugly. Antonio felt his anger rise. "What did you just say?" He asked her, his voice quiet, yet mad. Kirena replied "Oh. Nothing." Antonio smirked. "Sure. Oh, and about what I was goign to think about, I believe it's a no. So sorry." Kirena's nostrils flared. "Be that way. Not like anyone want you." She got up and moved to another seat. Antonio just sighed and sank back into his seat.

Paradise frowned at the little 'creative and mysterious discussion' going on. "What...What was that about Antonio?" She asked, sinking back in her chair, to get a better look at him. She was hurt by what the girl said, but tried to keep her mind on ANtonio. Which wasn't that hard,

"Oh. Nothing, she just asked me out yesterday. She's not the nicest of people all the time." He didn't feel bad about telling her, but on a second thought maybe it wasn't the best idea. Ah well, it's not like she will care. He told himself. The bell for first period rand and Antonio stood to go.

Paradise frowned, and stood up with him. "Why did you say no? I mean she is-" She stopped. If she said anything like 'pretty' he would probably change his mind. And Paradise wouldn't even have a chance with him. Even though that girl WAS way prettier then her. Paradise would keep quiet about it.

Paradise frowned as he walked p*censored*ed her. He likes someone else...? Closing her eyes, that pain in her heart she had last night came back. Noticing how he forgot his recorder, she hestitated on getting it. Then finally got it, and walked out of clas.s, hoping she wouldn't break down during her next clas.s. When she went to her clas.s, she saw Antonio sitting where he usually did. Frowning, she quietly said, "Here." Setting the recorder down on the desk, and quickly walked to her usual seat, next to her friends.

"Thanks." Antonio said, wondering why she was all depressed again. I'm going to have to ask he, he decided. After the clas.s ended, he waited until he heard Paradise talking with her friends. "Hey, Paradise, may I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, hoping she say yes. But she might not, considering how she is acting.

Paradise, like before, wasn't really acting herself. So her friends weren't really talking to her at the moment. Frowning when she heard Antonio's question she turned around. "Um.." She forced her voice to keep going. "Yes." SHe said forcfully, as she walked with him.

"Ok. Now tell me the truth. What the hell has been bothering you? It's like, one day you are all happy, then you talk to me and you get all depressed. Did I do something?" He asked her, his voice serious. He was getting tired of her doing whatever an him not knowing something. He still didn't know if she would tell him the truth, but he could only hope.
