She smiled, at him. "That was amazing!" If it wasn't for him, she would have never experienced that. She was still unsure about surfing herself, but she was confortable with where she was at that moment.

Matt grabbed her arms and smiled. He turned the board towards the wave as the water got to them. He smiled and turned the board into the barrel again and smiled more.

She scooted all the way to Matt, her back against his chest. She had no desire to close her eyes, but was scared. But Matt was making her feel better. She bit her lip, and smirked. It really was cool. She wouldn't mind doing it again, even if she got a little scared.
