She winced a little bit as the man jumped her, but she didn't let that distract her. She willed as much water as she can to come out of the gap, and soon the cabin was half flooded.

Selene smirked a little bit under the duct tape, satisfied that she had her captor cornered. He had locked the door when they first came in here, and you could only unlock it with a key, even from the insides. Selene had willed an air bubble to form around her, so she wasn't panicking at all.

Selene saw her chance as Alvin pas.sed out and struggled to her feet. She slowly made her way towards a key, which was drifting around in the water, and grabbed it as firmly as she could with her wrists bound. The duct tape had drifted off somewhere, she didn't bother to look. After a lot of cursing and noise, Selene had opened the door and hopped out of the cabin. She decided she would hop around until she found someone to untie her wrists and ankles.

Selene woke up to the sound of ringing. She groaned and fumbled with the back of her alarm clock, eventually yanking out the batteries. Last night she had found someone to untie her, but he must've reported it to the news or something, because you don't normally see a sopping wet girl soaked with blood hopping around with her arms and legs bound. The cabin was actually pretty close to her house, so she only had to walk a few minutes. Being really tired, she just walked in and fell onto her bed without even taking off her shoes. She sighed and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

After showering and changing into some clean clothes, Selene taped some bandages around her various cuts she got from the encounter the day before, not bothering to go to the hospital. She hadn't done her homework either, but she'd just make some kind of excuse, she decided. Selene picked up her bookbag and trudged out the door, forgetting to lock it, and hailed a taxi to school.

Selene sighed and slammed the door of the taxi. She had paid the driver beforehand, like she always did, so she would not forget to pay him. She checked her watch and she was already a few minutes late. She sighed again and started to run towards the school doors, hoping that her first-period science teacher was late.

Selene crashed into the clas.sroom through the door, knocking down lab equipment and causing a lot of noise, but the teacher didn't even give her a sideways glance. She sighed in relief and just stood there for a moment, before sneaking off to her desk as quietly as possible, trying hard not to trip over anything. She set her bookbag down next to her desk and sat down, tired from running around in the halls, getting lost a few times on the way.

Andrew smirked at the lab equipment falling. Then fiddled with his backpack zippers trying to find a pencil. The teacher finally turned around to let them know that they needed to start copying the notes from the board. All most half the kids, didn't even get a piece of paper out because of their laziness. Andrew rolled his eyes, and got his paper and pen out, and started copying.

Selene sighed and took out her science notebook and her favourite pen, and began copying what her teacher wrote on the board. She really didn't like hands-on science experiments, but she hated copying stuff even more, so yeah. Selene pretty much dreads every part of science. She was done copying a few minutes after she started and drummed her fingers on the desk, waiting impatiently for the other students to finish.
