A few minutes later, Kai and Calyx arrived at where the Hollow was. But, where was it? Her Hollow tracker indicated that it was here. Suddenly, claws lunged at Kai and Calyx. She dodged it, but just barely. Blood trickled from a scratch on her arm. She hissed and held out her arm, forming a bow. She show arrows at the Hollow, but she always missed. "Damnit!"

Yukita's head whipped around, just in time to see, what appeared as a quincy dodge a blow from the hollow. The hidden form of the demon wavered, allowing her to see its location. "FOund you." She whispered, charging and pouncing upward, her sword coming into contact with the hollow. She winced as it roared in pain, swiping at her and sending her flying right into the quincy girl.

"Ahhhh!" Calyx screamed. Kai just rolled her eyes and zoomed upward to catch the Soulreaper. Kai now held Yukita in her arms and struggled to keep them up in the air. She ended up crashing, holding both Calyx and Yukita. Kai roared in annoyance, setting the two down. She had scratches on her back from sliding, but she didn't care. Kai hissed at Yukita for making her fall. "Oh shush, Kai." Calyx snapped. "Now...Where did that thing go?"

Yukita sighed looking down at her swords fading color, now an icy blue. "Damnit. It's gone." She hissed attempting to stand on her feet, but her ankle twisted out from under her. She fell forward on her face, an orange gem on her sword glinted, releasing the fire demon from its depths. "Hey," Her voice was muffled by the dirt her face still lay in. The fire took its usual shape as a wolf and barked, laughing at Yukita. "You must learn to break your own falls, then maybe you would get injured like that." He growled, sitting back on his haunches.

Calyx giggles. "Fail." She snickered. She turned to the Fire demon. "What the hell is that?!" She snapped, her bow already to fire at the Fire wolf.

The demon's eyes narrowed into slits, the fire blazing brighter. "I do hope that you werent planning on shooting me with something as weak as a bow." He growled. "Now now, lets not kill me demon here. That thing is the core of my sword. Machinkar is his name, now that you know who he is, may I ask why there is a quincy aiming its bow at my pet?" The word Quincy came out a little more rude then Yukita had intended but the message was still clear. 'Put it down'

Toshiro quickly made his way through the woods in the world of the living, making his way to soul reaper who had ordered back up. "Yukita!" He said spotting the soul reaper and two others there with her.

"Oh hey Captain Toshiro. I didnt know that they were going to send you. Though I should be surprised, after all I was just transferred to your squad." Yukita let out a small laugh, turning to the demon by her ankle. "So, what's the damage report on my ankle?" She asked trying to twist it but to no avail.

"Well it seems like you have a sprain master. You really should be more careful when fighting Hollows of that rank." The demon replied, its voice calm and cool.

"Nothing that squad 4 cant fix. Now who are you two?" Toshiro said turning to the other two people that were with Yukita. He folded his arms across his chest, waiting for an answer.

Kai snarled. "This grumpy thing is known as Kai." Calyx said. " And I'm Calyx." She inspected Kai's leg. Kai snapped at her, baring her fangs. "Seriously?" Calyx snapped.

"Interesting. Where did the hollow go Yukita?" Toshiro asked looking around.

"It disappeared sir. I have no clue where it went. Sorry." Yukita replied, the demon helping her to her feet. "I need to squad 4 so lets go." She said limping over to Toshiro. "See you two later then. Um sir, do you think it would be ook if we sent a squad 4 member to take a look at Kai's leg?" She asked, smiling when Toshiro gave a nod, though she knew he didnt really care all that much.
