Andre akwardly scooted on the stump, suddenly uncomfortable as the girl came closer. He didn't hint this though, he just did the routine of switching the marshmallows.

Shadow stopped whens he saw him scoot and took a step or two back. "Sorry if I accidently creeped you out a bit."

Andre waved it off. He stomped out the fire and put the last marshmallows in the container. He handed one to Shadow and took the rest into his tent.

Shadow looked at the marshmellow before eating it and thinking,'So humans eat this stuff?' She then saw him go into his tent and guessed he wasn't going to come back out since it was getting late. She walked towards the near by river and sat at the bank until the sun went down. She then turned into her true form and stepped into the water. She just walked in the shallow part until she reached the small lake that formed near her den and was fed by the river. She went into the water until it was waist deep and then went under it and swam around a bit.

(Ok) Andre stumbled out of the tent to get away from his complaining sister. He took out two nets and went down to the river, tying it so that both would block fish from getting out. He sat down on the slick grass to wait.

(I have been forgeting Shadow's pet.)
Shadow sat down and wondered were in the world her black fruit bat named Moon was. She made a high pitched sound and waited to see if her bat had heard her. Moon was sleeping in a cave near by when her ears picked up the sound of Shadow. The bat flew out of the cave and right over Andre's head. It landed on Shadow's waiting fingers and hung upside down. Shadow smiled and whispered to Moon,"There's my pretty girl."

(Aw, poor Moon... A Dog's Life had told be about Squirrel's freind Moon. She was hit by a truck and died. :( ) Andre looked up at the pretty bat. He remained unfazed. He looked back down at his nets, and yanked a string which caught all the fish he had trapped. He smiled at the success, and carried the net back to the camp.

Shadow twitched an ear when she heard the human stand and start walking off. Moon wanted to investigate so she flew after the boy. Shadow stood up and didn't bother to turn into her human form. She chased after her courious bat and stopped when she noticed that she was at the camping grounds and her bat was still following the human. She hid herself since she knew the humans would start coming out of their tents soon. She made the high-pitched noise to call Moon to her,but Moon ignored her and still went after the boy.

Andre put down the fish by the circle of stone that was the fireplace the other night. He turned at the sound of wings and smiled at the sight of a bat. "Aren't you up early, why aren't you still asleep?" He looked through the supply bags and held out a small mango for the bat.

Shadowturn ed into her human form and walked into the camping grounds to go get her bat to come back. Moon looked at the human and made a high-pitched bat noise before landing on the mango and hooking her claws onto it. She started to eat it as soon as Shadow stopped and looked at her. She sighed and said,"Moon. Don't do that! You could have gotten us both into trouble." Moon unhooked her claws and flew over to Shadow. Her couriousity was satisfied and she wanted to go back to sleep. She gripped Shadow's fingers and hung upside down.

Andre shrugged and put the mango on a tree branch in case the bat came again. He retired to his tent, only to do more work inside the shade.

Shadow smirked as the bat fell asleep and sighed. "Looks like I just turned into your bed.",she whispered and then started to pry the claws off of her fingers. She climbed the tree the human put the mango in and hooked her claws around a small branch. She went down to a low branch and sat down to guard her bat while she slept.

Andre walked ran out of the tent, his sleeping bag thrown out behind him. Inside, his sister was scolded for kicking him out of the tent. Andre shrugged and started the fire up again with some flint stones.

Andre shrugged. "What, Jennifer? Nothing. She wanted to play dolls but I was working. My stepmom called it rude. Jennifer kicked me out, then my father sent her to the corner. What good that would do, thats where all her toys are."
