"I'm sorry," Aeria said, frowning. "Xavier's a better fighter than me, so I would rather be unconcious than him be unconcious." She tried to sit up, but ended up laying back down onto Xavier's arms. She wasn't strong enough to sit up yet.

She frowned and said, "I got a bit carried away..." That was all she said. Aeria looked down, and said, "Well, second time that I've been covered in blood today," with a small laugh. She hoped that the two boys would drop the subject.

"Okay," Aeria said, still in his arms. She took in a deep breath and said, "I wonder what made your best friend turn against you?" She felt a bit sorry for Xavier. He didn't seem to have many friends, and Lucifer was his best friend. Of course, Aeria didn't have any friends other than Rayleigh. And then Xavier came along, but he's more than a friend, obviously.

He stiffened. The reality of it hand thit him until she said it. He looked down sadly. They had been friends since they were in diapers. How could he betray him? why did he do it? what did Xavier do? these questions flooded his mind. Pain and awareness flashed across his eyes.
