(( Nvm, dont want this RP to die O-o))
Jack walked alone on the once busy streets of New York. He looked up at the billboards that once glowed and flickered. Most of the electricity as dead since everyone had died. He was running out of food for himself and was looking through the stores. He went inside a general store and saw all the medications gone. Everyone had gone crazy, getting all the medicine they could get to cure themselves or they're loved ones. It was sad to think about it. He picked up a few granola bars and some sport drinks and stuffed them into his backpack. Jack then walked out and walked back to the apartmwnt building he was staying in. Most of the buildings were condemed after eveyone got sick. He knew he had it too, everyday he thought he would just die then and there. Jack also knew there had to be someone out there, still alive and looking for more survivors as well. Jack then got to the building and walked inside and walked the stairs that led to the roof. He would wait there all day sometimes to see if he could spot anyone. Sadly, everyday came with the same result: No one. (( Kinda sucked I know XD ))

Ki woke up late in the morning, from yet another nightmare. The virus had spread to her left knee, and she could tell from the black tendrils crawling through her skin. She gingerly touched the dark skin, but the surface was cold as ice. She stood with slight difficulty. At least her grandmother was alive for her, and she felt they could survive together. Whether they were the last people in the world or just two of the survivors, she only wanted her granny Virginia to live. "Mrs. Vee? Are you awake?" She whispered, opening the creaking wooden door. Mrs. Vee lay on her bed, the virus curling around her eyes, which were frozen open in pain. Ki knew she was dead the minute she had seen her. She shook her head, then ran through the old house and out the door. She lived almost in the middle of no where, out in the country, no civilization to be seen except for the highway that lead to New York. She knew she had to go there, as she had heard the dying voice of the radio tell her that all the survivors were to gather there as soon as possible. She started down the road, weaving through abandoned cars, some filled with dead bodies. She turned and looked at her shabby home, and waved. "Bye, Mrs. Vee."

Damien walked down the street with his hands in his pockets. The city once full of life was now a waste land full of deserted buildings and apartments. He remembered being beat up on almost every block in this forsaken city. The stupid jocks who thought they could just do whatever they wanted. Well now they're all gone. All of them. Damien liked that about this world. Yet he could still use someone to occasionally talk to. He took one hand from his pocket and placed it on his neck. It had black vein-like lines that were also on his shoulder. He sometime wondered when he would just die. Some days he wanted to, other days he didn't. Damien sighed as he kept walking through the abandoned streets of New York. Was he really the only one left? Secretly, he hoped not.
