laughing at his puzzled face, she ran behind a bush to take off her skirt and top, leaving her in her corset and underwear. Picking up her clothes, she made her way back to the castle with Kay under her on the forest floor.

Kay grabbed a bunch of dry wood and followed. He wanted her to get nice and warm and not get sick. If she got sick, he would only blame himself. He reached the castle before her and headed to her room, and soon had a nice fire going.

She walked into the castle and looked into the room where she last saw Daisuke and Ryu and grabbed some blankets from the other room to cover them up. She then headed up to the library to go get warm and dry her clothes.
Walking in, she saw a beautiful fire burning with Kay sitting next to it. Smiling, she hung her clothes on a coat rack next to the fire and wrapped herself and Kay in blankets. She sat next to Kay and cuddled in front of the crackling fire.

Kay smiled and climbed into her lap, his head resting on her chest, at the shoulder. He snuggled there and soon fell asleep. He liked her a lot and thought of her as a mother. At least he felt that she was acting as how a mother would. He wasn't sure since he had no memory of a mother or a father.
Ryu woke slightly as he felt Kalee put the blanket on him. He did not open his eyes, still pretending to be asleep. After she had left he slowly got up and went outside. He had to think. -Why am I even still with these people? Why do I even feel welcome?- Deep down he had a feeling that in the past, he had been rejected and shunned by everyone. Suddenly his head jerked in the direction of the nearby woods. He felt like something was off...like they should get out of there fast. He backed up slowly, not wanting to alert whatever was there, to his presence.

Smiling, Kaylee looked down at Kay sleeping on her chest and began to run her fingers lightly through his hair. Having a day of pure relaxation really helped calm her nerves and she had had so much fun playing with Kay. Snuggling with him, she smiled as she drifted off into a light snooze.

Ryu turned and bolted into the castle. Before he reached there, he felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder. He forced himself to ignore it. When he entered the castle he went straight to the sitting room and shook Daisuke awake. "Come on we need to get out of here."Daisuke woke with a start and heard what Ryu had said. He could tell by his eyes that he was serious. "Right." He jumped up and bolted to the library to get Kay and Kaylee, Ryu followed him. "We need to go." Was all he said when he entered. He had not noticed that Ryu had a crossbow bolt sticking out of the back of his shoulder. The end had broken off at some point. Now only a inch and a half was stick out.(Be back in a little bit. Need to mow some more.)

Jolting awake, Kaylee looked back at the two at the door and gasped. "Oh gosh, your bleeding! What happened?" Grabbing Kay, she rushed over to her clothes and put them in Kay's hands. Turning, Kaylee grabbed both Daisuke's and Ryu's hands and ran to a place that she had found that was invisible to the naked eye.
She pulled them through what looked like a solid wall, set Kay and her clothes on the couch, and pushed Ryu onto the bed in the room. Taking off the part of his shirt where his wound was, she grabbed some alcohol and used some of the sheets she found as rags and began to clean around the open wound.

Ryu didn't respond as the alcohol cleaned his wound. He just sat there deep in thought.
Daisuke came over after laying Kay in a corner, surprised that he was still asleep. "I'll need to remove it."
Ryu nodded.
Daisuke looked at Kaylee. "Ready to put something there after I pull it out?" He asked.

Nodding, she ripped more cloth off and dabbed it in alcohol. She looked back up at daisuke "I am ready, just pull it out." she said as she held the rag over Ryu's shoulder.

Daisuke nodded and grabbed hold of the shaft as best he could. He then gave a hard yank, pulling it out. Once it was out he saw the barbed head. "Ow." He said looking at it before tossing it in a random corner.
Ryu winced slightly, but otherwise gave no reaction. -What was that out there?- He thought, feeling like whatever it was, it was a good thing he didn't know.
Kay woke due to the smell of blood. "Is someone hurt?" He asked as he yawned and rubbed his eyes with both hands.
Daisuke smiled. "It's nothing that you need to worry yourself over, Kay."
Kay only nodded and watched silently.

Putting the rag in gently, Kaylee grabbed some rope and tied it to the end to a sheet, and wrapped it on Ryu's arm. "There, if you let that heal, I can take it off by the time we go to bed." She smiled warmly up at Ryu and turned around. Shivering slightly from lack of warmth and clothing, she started searching for blankets.

Ryu pointed to a far wall. "There's a closet or something right there." He said quietly before getting up to go sit in a corner.
Kay crawled over to him and climbed into his lap. He then curled up and soon fell asleep once more.
Ryu smiled and began to pet Kay on the head.
Daisuke smiled as well and went to help Kaylee find some blankets.
(ok sorry have to go, will try to be on again later. Have a wedding to go to)

Kaylee accepted Daisuke's help and began searching for blankets. She looked in the closet and grabbed one. Walking over to Ryu and Kay, she covered them up before returning to get new blankets.

Ryu nodded his thanks. He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep. His lips formed a barely perceptible smile.
Daisuke chuckled and sat down not far away. "You can have the bed, Kaylee." He told her. |

Smiling, Kaylee quickly shook her head. "I can't stand sleeping alone, we can share since Kay and Ryu are sleeping together." she said as she moved over to make room for Daisuke.
She looked over to Ryu and Kay and saw a slight smile on Ryu's face, and just like Kay and Daisuke, he was slowly worming his way into her heart.

Daisuke blushed. "W-what?" He rubbed the back of his head embarressed. She was a girl and he was a guy. -We aren't even married, let alone dating...are we?- He shook his head still blushing.

Watching him with a confused gaze, she didn't understand what was wrong with her request. ~what's up with him, all I asked was if he wanted to share the bed~ she thought naively.
