Smirking she launched up into the air and let her wings explode out from her back. She silently circled the area and enjoyed the breeze for a few moments before grabbing a few of the largest ones in the area. She dropped her food off next to the ice dragon before landing softly onto the grass. She grabbed one of the bodies and began to tear into it as if she were starved.

She felt his gaze on her and trying to get his attention off of her she nudged the other creature towards him. ~You should eat too.~ she rumbled before turning back to her food.

He smiled more and nodded. -Thank you.- He stood and stretched, just like a cat, and ate the animal in two bites.

Finishing her meal Kaylee got up and looked at the ice dragon. ~So are we to head to this place you talked of?~

He nodded and stretched his wings. He then took off into the air, hovering as he waited for her. Once she too was in the air, he led the way to the castle.
Daisuke was just finishing burying Kay, and was currently placing stones on top of the grave.

She followed him silently, the only noise being the beating of their wings as they continued to fly. She saw a castle in the distance and it brought huge memory bursts into her mind. The memories stunned her and she stopped moving, making her plummet to the ground. Landing in a body sized crater she lay there unconscious, she could do nothing to stop all of the memories pummeling her head.

He flew in the air, circling where she had fallen, before landing next to her and nuzzled her cheek with his snout.

She felt the cold snout nudging her but didnt wake up. She twitched when she was nuzzled but otherwise didnt make a move. Her memories flashed by until she reached the paart right before she transformed. She watched and recognized Ryu launching out of the window and turning into a giant ice dragon. After realizing that the dragon she had been flying with was Ryu, she felt horrible for almost fighting him before. Feeling the cold nose nuzzle her again brought her back to consciousness and she looked over to see Ryu nuzzling her cheek.

He smiled at her glad that she had come too, though worry clearly showed. -Are you alright?- It showed in his inner voice as well. While she was unconscious, he had been scared that he would lose her.

She smiled weakly at him and grunted as her head began to spin. ~I think I am alright Ryu, just a little dizzy.~ Her thoughts echoed through her skull, she regretted speaking so soon because of its reverberating in her head. She laid there with Ryu hovering over her for a good ten minutes before she felt strong enough to get back up onto her feet. Wobbling slightly she managed to maintain her balance and peered up at Ryu. ~I think I am sturdy enough to walk back to the castle, its not very far.~

They made it back to the castle just as the sun was setting, the sunset illuminated what carnage she had caused and made her feel extremely bad. Not seeing Daisuke worried her as well. the worry made her scales rattle and her tail flick behind her.

Remembering that her sweet little Kay had died brought a rush of anger and sadness. She wept in mourning for her baby, the tears sliding off of her snout and turning into teardrop rubies as they hit the ground. Her sadness got to her mind and slowly she turned from the gargantuan dragon she was, into her original self only a few inches taller with reddish scales, gorgeous ruby red wings and a reptilian face (an in between stage of herself and her dragon form). She fell to her knees and cried until she was surrounded in tiny rubies but she didnt care, the only thought going through her mind was that of her sweet little child.

Ryu changed into an identical form, but with whitish-blue scales. He knelt next to her and hugged her close. "I'll make whoever,or whatever, that did this pay...and please...don't cry." He hated seeing her so upset and wanted to somehow make everything better. |

She didn't stop crying, her heart wouldn't allow it. She wept and wept even though no tears came out anymore. She just cried into Ryu's shoulder as her mind went blank. She sat there with him until her crying had subsided into sniffles and soon they stopped as well, leaving her leaning into his chest with her face buried into his shoulder.
